Focus on last hitting until level 3. Once level 3+ you can try to harass with Q, but be careful of pushing the lane with it. Make sure to manage mana properly. Your kill potential comes once you're level 6+I prefer to play passive until 6 and focus on manipulating the minion wave close to my tower to set up for a jungler gank. You can play aggressive in certain match ups through auto attack harass.

Middle Game is when you become your strongest. Set up kills in your lane with your taunt/ultimate. Push your lane and then roam when your ultimate is up. Ahri's one of the best roamers in the game because of her ultimate. Pay attention to the map for an enemy overextending. When a fight breaks out in a side lane immediately move towards it as you will often clean up when the fight ends and get there before the enemy mid laner.

Catch enemy's out of position with your taunt. Assassinate important DPS targets using the mobility of your ultimate. Peel for your AD carry using your taunt/slow from rylai's ONLY if they're fed and getting focused. Damage falls off late game because of somewhat weak scaling on her abilities. Try to assassinate high priority targets rather than wasting spells on tanks. Often the best choice is to dive the enemy ad carry and after you've killed them then pop your 3157_32.png

Blue Side

  1. Ward here when warding at 3 is too dangerous. You can put a ward here from behind the wall, which makes it very safe.
  2. Best location for warding the right side. This is especially important against 4_icon_64.png because he will use his ultimate from this brush to gank bot lane. Gives more vision of dragon/river, gives you more time to react to a gank, and vision of more paths.
  3. Warding here is EXTREMELY important against junglers with huge gap closers such as 56_icon_64.png35_icon_64.png59_icon_64.png9_icon_64.png, etc. This is a common area for these kinds of junglers to gank from and without a ward you can be baited.
  4. You can ward the enemy blue to set up a steal. Good idea if you're against a mid laner that's highly dependent on blue buff such as 34_icon_64.png13_icon_64.png, etc.

Purple Side
