Ahri gains a charge of Essence Theft with each enemy unit hit by any of her spells, with a cap of 3 charges gained per spell cast. Upon reaching 9 charges, Ahri's next spell will heal her for 2 (+1 per champion level) (+ 9% AP) for each enemy hit.

Ahri's passive is very unique. Early game, you will not notice it all that much, but when late game comes around, you can be healed almost fully. I have had times where I am practically dead, Q minions, then my HP is almost full.

  • MAGIC / TRUE DAMAGE: 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+ 35% AP)
  • MAX. DAMAGE VS SAME TARGET: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+ 70% AP)
ACTIVE: Ahri sends an orb of arcane energy in the targeted direction, dealing magic damage to every enemy it passes through, then pulls it back to herself, dealing true damage on the way back. Ahri gains a massive movement speed boost while her orb is traveling that rapidly decays over time.

This is Ahri's bread and butter ability. It has amazing wave clear and damage. The orb travels and dealing regular damage, but then it returns back to her and deals true damage. I believe the move can be dodged easy, but most of the time opponents usually get hit by at least the beginning throw. The move should be maxed first due to the high damage of AoE and wave clear. The movement speed the ability gives can help you get away from dangerous situations and can even help you catch up to people to land your other abilities.

ACTIVE: Ahri summons three spectral flames, which orbit her for up to 5 seconds. After a brief delay, each flame will target the closest visible enemy, prioritizing champions then the target of Ahri's last basic attack, dealing magic damage upon hit. Multiple flames can hit a single target, but each flame beyond the first will only deal 30% damage.

While the ability may seem easy to use, it can be very to to master it. Positioning yourself is one of the main ways to successfully use this because it relies on you getting close. You do not want to get too close and end up dying trying to use it. I mainly use it after I land a charm because they cannot do anything so I can get close. Having 3116.png can really help due to the slowing.

ACTIVE: Ahri blows a kiss that travels in a line in front of her. The first enemy it hits takes magic damage and is charmed, forcing them to walk harmlessly towards Ahri while being slowed by 50% for the duration.

This is the move that determines if you will do good or not. This ability is essential practically in getting kills and winning games. Charming an enemy carry into your team can win you a game very easy. This is a very unique form of CC and is one of the only like it. Having someone walk at you and not do anything is so nice. Game changer. Period.

R. Spirit Rush

COOLDOWN: 110 / 95 / 80


Active: Ahri dashes in the direction of the cursor and fires up to three energy bolts that each pursue one of her nearest visible enemies, dealing magic damage. Each enemy can only be hit by one bolt at a time.

Spirit Rush can be cast twice more within 10 seconds of activation at no additional cost before going on cooldown.

This ability makes Ahri so versatile and so quick. This is like having three flashes all in one move. You can use it over almost any wall and can help in so many different ways. You can use this to get away from a fight, engage a fight and still have time to get out, or catch someone with an E and get them killed. If you You can get about halfway down a lane with three of these and a flash.

Masteries Back to Top

These masteries are very great for Ahri. If you look into the ferocity section, notice how I use natural talent and oppressor. Natural talent can help make farming easier with the added Ad and you also get the AP boost as well. Oppressor helps with the damage after landing a charm. Giving bonus damage when an enemy is impaired can really change a fight.

Now looking into the cunning section, you notice how I use assassin instead of biscuits. I do this in order to maximize my damage in lane because when an enemy is alone it makes your damage spike. Adding this with oppresor can lead to deradly outcomes. I always use Thunderlords for the burst damage when landing your moves.

    General start
    Is good if you want to rush Sorcerers shoes, plus early game speed
    Good start against AD mid laners

Core Items

    These items will make your damage great, while also giving you safety with zhonya
    I would only use Athenes against high burst AP mid laners

Situational Items

    Can make you pretty tanky health wise, gives great AP and mana
    This will help you if you need health, but also need good AP. Also the slow is very useful
    Is a good item for speed increase, good amount of AP, can deal a lot with powerful auto
    Good item for mana, send ghost for slows, lacks high damage
    Use only if you feel confident and are already doing good.

She can be hard for Ahri since she has gap closers, but your ultimate can be a good way to escape her. When she shrouds through a qq and she will most likely be hit. Pre 6 is your best chance for a kill. Get junglers help for it.

Medium

Anivia has amazing nuking abilities, which can be a nightmare for someone so squishy as Ahri. You want to play agressive before 6 before she gets ult and try to take her passive out. She is also squishy so you can hurt her very easy as well. You can also dodge her q easily with ult.

Annie

Hard

This is one of the only lanes I really struggle with. Her burst is so strong that you can get one hit easy. Look for a kill pre 6 and see if you can get lane advantage. Getting MR can be helpful and think about getting MR rune page for this match up. If you can survive her engage then avoid tibbers and look for the kill.

Aurelion Sol

Easy

You can dodge his moves very easily with your ultimate and you can poke him. If you land a charm on him he will get destroyed and either die or have to recall. If you see him charging a q, ghet ready to ult away from it and go in on him. Once you get close to him he will have trouble fighting you will most likely ult you away.

Azir

Medium

This match up is pretty much who can poke more. Azir can poke you with soldiers, but you can hit him with Q's all day. Look for your charm and land combos on him. Watch out for his ujlt because you cannoy use your ult through it, which can leave you in bad areas. Azir is squishy like you, but has high damage like you too.

Brand

Easy

This lane is pretty easy, you just need to dodge his abilities. You can ult around him and give him a nice surprise and kill him. He hurts more but you can dodge him a lot easier than he can you.

Cassiopeia

Medium

She can relate to the same playstyle as Brand, where you need to dodge her skill shots to win. You roam better than her and can kill her pretty easy. Oncxe you hit 6, killing her should be no problem.

Cho'Gath

Medium

If you run into one, play safe. You will not usually be able to kill him due to his tankiness. Your best bet is to either get a kill early with the jungler or just play a passive lane with him. Check you hp when he gets 6 so you don't get eaten.

Diana

Medium

Diana is a weird matchup for Ahri. Her damage can kill you fast but if you dodge her Q then you will be ok. She has a dash but you have 3, so use them wisely. Her shield will be annoying but you get true damage so its ok. Keep your river warded because Diana can snowball of a easy kill to start lane.

Ekko

Easy

Ekko should not be an issue for you since you are so mobile. When he tries to dash at you just charm and punish him for it. If you see him going for a stun you can ult out of it and kill him pretty easy, unless hes a tank Ekko loser lol

Fizz

Medium

Fizz is annoying champ who can be poked easy however. The one concern for you is to watch him use his pole because he can dodge your charm and leave you to waste ult.

Heimerdinger

Medium

You can kill his towers with your Q and you can dodge his other abilities pretty easy. Just dont take too much damage from his turrets before he engages. You have speed over the scientist, use it.

Kassadin

Hard

Kassadin can be pretty hard for Ahri. He makes it hard to kill him because he is always hitting you with things. His ult makes iot hard for you to run because he has the "free flashes" as well.

I am a Gold elo player, and before you laugh and so he has no clue what hes talking about. I may not be the best LOL player, but I am for sure an amazing Ahri player. I have beat Diamond mid laners before, no lie. I have impressed many of them and have done crazy plays on them. I know everything about this champ and can pull off incredible things. Just because I am not Diamond or higher does not mean anything to me in my opinion.

I like to play AP midlaners because I like to burst people down quick. I like Ahri mostly because she is fast, almost uncatchable at times, and just so fun. First time I played I knew I loved her, and I still continue to finesse people after 2 years of first playing her. I advise everyone to give her a try and I hope the best with you.
