Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png  Flash is a must-have for Ahri, as it allows you to set up kills early when the jungler ganks, or when getting ganked by the enemy jungler. Also, why not have another relocation ability? Doesn't hurt to have 4.

14.png You'll probably be taking ignite most of the time, because it makes your kill potential so high. You can easily pick up kills pre-6, and makes picking off carries much easier later on.

12.png You can take this when the chances of you killing the enemy laner are low, or you're fighting against champs with global ults (i.e., TF, Shen, Panth, etc.) It can even be a good pick if the enemy jungler has big early presence, so you can turn ganks around and win other lanes.

3.png  You probably wont be taking exhaust that often, I actually never use exhaust, but it's definitely a good choice in some situations. It's the most useful against some AD mids, like Zed or Yasuo.

Masteries Back to Top

Ferocity Tree

There are some slight variations you can do here, like instead of feast, getting double edged sword, or replacing vampirism with natural talent, or changing oppressor to bounty hunter.

I'll tell you WHY I take each mastery.

Sorcery: This one is pretty much self explanatory. you obviously want your abilities to do more damage, so put 5 into this.

Feast: This is probably the best out of the 3 you can pick here, however I see a lot of people taking Double Edged Sword on Ahri. I don't really like it, because yeah, you do more damage, but to take more damage can be really bad for Ahri. I would only use DES if I know I won't be taking much damage from the enemy team.

Vampirism: I actually switch between this mastery, and Natural Talent often. It doesn't make a huge difference, but Vampirism can be pretty good when combined with your passive, and makes for great lane sustain, so I find myself taking Vampirism much more frequently.

Oppressor: This mastery, I find to be stronger on Ahri, because #1, that extra damage you get from landing a charm early can end up getting you a kill, and winning you the lane, and 2#, you don't need it to scale, so the damage amp is there right away when somebody is CC'd rather than actually having to kill and enemy first, before getting the extra damage. You need 3 kills on 3 different champions when you run Bounty Hunter before the damage amp is stronger than Oppressor, and at that point I don't think it's worth it, because the extra damage from Oppressor early will be much more useful.

Cunning Tree

Wanderer: This is a lot more useful than dealing 5 extra damage to minions and monsters, because it helps you roam faster, and get to lane faster. On a midlaner like Ahri, this is definitely the better choice, as you'll be leaving lane frequently. This mastery is also better late game, because it doesn't fall off.

Secret Stash: Taking this mastery is really something I like personally, although taking Runic Affinity isn't a bad idea either. I like biscuits because they can save you from ignite, or you can surprise your enemy laner when you're both low, by eating a biscuit and getting some mana instantly, giving you just enough to cast your final spell.

Merciless: Ahri doesn't really have any mana issues, so it's much better to just take this over Meditation. While taking Meditation isn't horrible, you're losing some damage, that could be the difference between you winning or losing a fight.

Dangerous Game: This is really the best choice here, I don't think I need to explain it much, but getting 5% HP and Mana every time you get a kill can snowball you in fights, or save you from ignites. Take this.

Precision: Taking hybrid pen over a higher CDR cap is a better choice on Ahri. On Ahri, you won't really be building any cdr items besides Morello, or maybe Lich Bane in some cases. Even if you go into a game thinking you're going to be building a lot of CDR, you don't know for sure if it will be worth it. If you're behind, building a Lich bane and Lucidity boots is usually a very bad idea.

Thunderlord's Decree: TLD is the obvious choice here, because, well, damage. You won't be getting a keystone just to make your passive heal you a little bit more, or getting a keystone to give you more movespeed, because you already have movespeed with your Q. Damage is the best.

Deathfire Touch Mastery Path

I very rarely find myself taking deathfire touch, but in some cases it can be a lot stronger than TLD. If you're fighting somebody in lane/or a team comp that you probably won't be able to burst down in one go, you won't want TLD. Instead, you'll want consistent damage to whittle them down, which is why Deathfire would be the stronger keystone here. Early game you won't have as much burst, but it's not like you'll be killing them anyways, so just farm up and get some items, and once you have a few, Deathfire will outscale TLD and be much stronger against the team.

ahripassive.pngEssence Theft:

Laning Phase:

Trading:

Not the best passive in the game, but's it's definitely really strong in laning phase. When trading with the enemy laner, it's best if you already have 4-6 stacks on ahripassive.png, that way, once the trade is over, you can just ahriorbofdeception.png the wave, so you have a good chance of coming out ahead.

Survivability:

If you're getting poked down in lane, it's also really good, because it can keep you alive so you can just sit and soak EXP, even if you're getting zoned out of last hits. A cool little trick is to ahriorbofdeception.png the Wraith camp when ahripassive.png is up, for a little bit of HP if you don't have a minion wave, or if it's too dangerous to go near the wave at the moment.
If you keep that trick in mind, ahripassive.png can come in really clutch, and save you from 14.png, some other form of DoT, or 30.png fallenone.png.

Team Fights:

Your passive won't be the best in team fights, because it's hard to line up your Q to hit a lot of champions to heal very much, but if you hit even 1 champion with your ahriorbofdeception.png, that could potentially keep you alive, and help you win the fight. If you use your rotations properly, you can get off your passive 2 times in a fight, which is really useful.

ahriorbofdeception.pngOrb of Deception:

Laning Phase:

This is 103.png's best tool for damage, and there are a lot of different ways you can use this. It can be used for sustain when combined with your passive, it can be used for damage (obviously), it can be used to kite or dodge skillshots, or it can be used to run away from a gank, if you don't have to use your ult, or it's not up.
You can also use this ability to get to lane faster, by firing behind you while you run to lane.

Poking:

Since it has pretty good range, one of my favourite things to do with ahriorbofdeception.png in laning phase, is to  ahriorbofdeception.pngthe enemy laner when they are going for a last hit. This is much harder when fighting experienced players, but if you predict correctly, you can easily control the lane. Pay attention not only to the hp of the enemy minions, but to your own as well. If you think the enemy laner is about to go for a last hit, just toss it in their direction, and they usually walk right into it. You can throw it when they start their basic attack animation, or you can throw it right before they start the animation, so it's not as easy to predict. However, this can be hard if you don't know the attack range of the enemy champion. I find this tactic to be REALLY useful against less experienced players.

General Mechanics:

Something you must really be conscious of, is how ahriorbofdeception.png will always come back to your CURRENT position, so if you move, the orb will also move.
When you hit somebody with your ahriorbofdeception.png, don't just stand there hitting them with your basic attacks, you should move according to their position, so you hit the second part of the ahriorbofdeception.png. It is ESSENTIAL to hit the Q twice, otherwise you lose most of it's damage, as the second part deals true damage. I'll talk about combining this with your ult and/or flash once I get to Spirit Rush.

Team Fights:

With 103.png, you generally want to burst down one person as fast as possible, but since 103.png's abilities can also hit other champions, it's good to position yourself in a way so that you hit your target, and also the enemies around them.

ahrifoxfire.pngFoxfire:

There's honestly not much to say about this spell. It's pretty basic, and doesn't really do that much damage.

There are 3 things you can do with this spell:

1. Get last hits

2. Position yourself so that if there are other champions nearby, ahrifoxfire.png will only hit the target you want to kill.

3. Position yourself so that you can hit multiple low hp enemies. When you have your ultimate, you can dash in between multiple low enemies, and use foxfire so the damage will spread, and then if they aren't dead, you can use ahriorbofdeception.png to clean up.

Something you should worry about in lane, is being too far from the enemy when you want to hit them with foxfire. if you're not in range for all 3 to hit, they might only get hit by 1 or 2, OR there is the possibility of ALL 3 hitting the minions.

ahriseduce.pngCharm:

This is a very important spell for 103.png. This spell wins you games. There are a lot of different ways you can do it, and it's honestly SO crucial to land it at the right time. If you miss, it can mean death, or that guy getting away with 1 HP, tilting you harder than the titanic.

Laning Phase:

ahriseduce.png is a really powerful tool in all stages of the game, but lets talk about the lane. Landing a ahriseduce.png after 6 is basically a kill, but there's more to it than that. You can use ahriseduce.png to escape from ganks, by charming the most threatening champion around you, or you can charm somebody as you're running away from them, so you can create more distance between you and the enemy.

Poking with ahriseduce.png Pre-6:

Using ahriseduce.png as a poke tool in lane can be really risky, unless you know you are going to take a large chunk of hp, by following up with your ahriorbofdeception.png and ahrifoxfire.png. But by doing this, you're going to be using a lot of mana, so you better make it worth it. Missing your ahriseduce.png in lane can really hurt you, because it leaves you vulnerable to engages, and generally just less mana to poke with. If you land your charm, follow up with ahriorbofdeception.png and ahrifoxfire.png, but get out as fast as possible, so you are guaranteed to get free damage, without the enemy laner being able to fight back.

Landing ahriseduce.png:

There are a few ways to make sure you have a much higher chance of landing ahriseduce.png. While some people that don't often play Ahri might think it's pretty hard to miss, they're wrong. The width on charm isn't really that large, the range is medium, and the speed of it is medium as well.

One way to make to surprise your enemy, is to cast your ahriseduce.png while standing in font of an enemy minion (wait for it) just as it is about to die to your allied minions. This way, by the time charm reaches the minion, it has already died, and it will keep going, and hit the enemy laner. This might take some practice, as you have to time both charm, and the death of the minion. When the enemy sees you cast charm while behind minions, no matter how low, they will get a sense of comfort, and their guard will be down.

ahriseduce.png4.pngCharm flashing. Wait what? Don't you mean flash charm? Nope. You can cast ahriseduce.png, and 4.png immediately after the animation starts, to extend the range of it. However, keep in mind, you must have your cursor in the direction you want to fire, because you can actually change the direction of the ahriseduce.png after 4.png. This is probably one of the best ways to catch people off guard, as it's REALLY hard to dodge this in time, but if you're going to do it, make sure you know you'll hit it, otherwise you'll be blowing 4.png, and also putting yourself in a bad position.

Using ahriseduce.png Against Dashes:

Since the recent nerfs, you can no longer stop dashes by using ahriseduce.png. (RIP)
HOWEVER, this does not mean it's pointless to charm somebody while they dash, because the effect of the taunt still goes through. If you time your ahriseduce.png to hit them right before they finish their dash, they can't follow up with other abilities, because they will still be under the effect of ahriseduce.png. So timing is still crucial here.

After Laning Phase:

One of Ahri's huge strengths after laning phase, is catching people out. You can win games simply by ahriseduce.pnging the right person at the right time, but you must be patient. Don't try to force anything, but instead, wait for somebody else to make a mistake by getting too close, and THEN go for the ahriseduce.png.

When you're looking to pick somebody out late game, it's better to be off to the side, instead of staying clumped with your team, that way they might not always know where you are, and it's easy to pincer an enemy between yourself, and your team. If the enemy team engages on yours, because they don't see you, you can just flank the backlines easily, and take out the carries.

ahritumble.pngSpirit Rush:

Here it is, the ability that makes Ahri, Ahri. Knowing when to use your dashes is important, but knowing HOW to use them properly is what I'm going to talk about.

Laning Phase:

So obviously when you want to kill, you ahritumble.png in, when you're in danger, you want to ult out. But there is more to it than that.

Understanding Ahri's rotations is really important to maximize your damage.

Pre-6 - Dealing With Junglers

So pre-6 you're probably going to be getting ganked a lot more than after you've unlocked your ult. Knowing when you should be aggressive, and when you should be passive is key. If you can figure out which side the enemy jungler started, you can play really aggressive, while hugging the side of the jungle the enemy laner has NOT started. But at around 3:30, you should ward that side, and then hug the opposite side of the lane. This way, you're always as far away from the jungler as possible. When junglers gank, less experienced players make the mistake of just running directly to their tower when getting ganked, but if you see the jungler coming from the direction of your ward, and you're on the other side of the lane, just run out of the lane, and come back around.

Pre-6 - Where the Lane Should Be

Now, I'm not saying there is a certain spot the lane should ALWAYS BE, EVERY GAME, but I'm giving a general idea of what you should be TRYING to do in most games. As Ahri, you don't want to be under tower. Chances are, if you're under tower, it's because you're fighting a champion with strong pushing power, and this can also mean strong poke potential. If this is the case, it's easy to get poked under tower, and it's hard to farm too. So while keeping what I said before about the jungler in mind, you should try to either keep the wave in the middle, or shove the lane to the enemy tower. This way you can farm freely, and avoid getting poked. But don't think this is going to happen every game. If you happen to be in an unfavourable trade, you're probably going to have to play a little safer, thus having your lane shoved in toward you. OR You're just fighting a champion that naturally shoves, like Malzahar. So don't try to forcefully keep the lane away from your tower, because this can get you killed, if you see you are having trouble shoving back, it's better to just farm under tower, and get the CS and EXP that you can.

Post-6 - When the Lane Is Pushed

This is the perfect time for you to roam. There's no reason for you to be in lane, because you can't farm, you're at risk of getting ganked, and getting a kill is unlikely, unless the enemy laner is very low. So, you should head toward a lane that you want to gank, and ward the part of the the river/jungle you are entering, so you will know if they enemy laner is going to follow you. Always keep your eyes on the map, because if the enemy laner is following you, and they are stronger, just play it safe, and go back to lane, UNLESS the lane you are ganking is too low to actually turn a fight around. Be sure you're paying attention to your enemy laners cooldowns and abilities, as well as the lane you are ganking.

Post-6 - Fighting In Lane

Knowing WHEN you can fight is really important. Pay attention to where the jungler is/was, so you know your 1v1 won't turn into a 1v2 and get you killed. You should generally want to engage when the enemy is at roughly 70% hp, that way if you land a charm, it's most likely a kill. However this isn't the case in every matchup. There will be times when you're the one who's low, and the enemy laner is at full health. You should just be farming, and playing very safe, while also paying keen attention to the map, so you know where the jungler wants to gank, because chances are, they're coming for that juicy Ahri kill.

General Mechanics

You know that charm flash thing I told you about earlier? You can also do that with your ultimate, but it's a bit harder to pull off. You can also do this with  ahriorbofdeception.png.

Generally when using ahritumble.png, you want to use the first dash in combination with the rest of your abilities (ahriseduce.pngahriorbofdeception.pngahrifoxfire.png), the second is to reposition yourself, and then you hold onto the final charge so you can use your rotation once again. However, you won't always get to do this. This is just a general combo you'll be using MOST of the time. Sometimes you'll have to use ahritumble.png twice before you even get to the enemy, so you can only use one rotation.

Combining ahritumble.png and 4.png with ahriorbofdeception.png. This is my favourite mechanic on Ahri, because it gives a lot of outplay potential, and makes you look really good. (Even though it isn't the most difficult thing to do.)
You would want to do this if somebody repositions themself in a way, where you can't align your ahriorbofdeception.png on its way back, just by walking. So, you can use ahritumble.png or 4.png to re-align yourself with ahriorbofdeception.png. If somebody uses some kind of dash, making a single ahritumble.png not enough, you can just ahritumble.png4.png, but make sure you time it properly, or you might actually cancel the damage from ahritumble.png. This might take some practice before you can get it right, but once you have it down, it's pretty easy.

Team Fights:

There are a few options in team fights when playing Ahri, I'll try my best to go over them.

Assassinating:

Yep, assassinating. Riot wants Ahri to be a mage, but you can still assassinate VERY easily, you just have to be patient, and wait for the enemy to make mistakes. When you want to play as an assassin, stand off to the side of your team, and look around for some opening in the enemy team, so you can ahritumble.png in, kill a carry, and ahritumble.png out. You won't always be able to do this though, so another way, is to wait for either your team, or the enemy team to engage, and when the carry and the enemy tanks are occupied, that is the perfect chance to strike.

Peeling:

When you're peeling for your own carries, it's either because you are behind, and you don't have the damage to cut through the tanks and get to the carries, or the enemy team will just instagib12.png60.png111.png you the moment you get anywhere near them. So in this situation, you sit with your team, and throw charms out to start an engage, or catch somebody out. You aren't going to ult in, because you'll probably die, so wait for somebody on the enemy team to attempt an assassination on your carries, and then use your rotation on them.

Catching:

To make a proper catch, make sure you are warding properly. Without vision, you're pretty much worthless as Ahri.
It doesn't really matter who you're catching out most of the time, just make sure their team isn't close enough to engage on you the moment you charm them. To pull this off, you MUST BE WITH YOUR TEAM. Don't try to assassinate 33.png, or54.png, or 12.png, you won't have the damage to kill them on your own.

Okay, I think that covers just about everything you need to know about Ahri's abilities. Now, onto items.

Situational Items

Starting Items

1056.png2003.png2003.png
This is probably the most common start on Ahri, it gives health, damage, mana and health sustain. It's an all around good choice. You'll be getting this in almost every matchup.

1001.png2003.pngx4
You won't really be buying these as your starting items often, but in some matchups like 69.png or 99.png, it might not be a bad idea to start with boots.

1082.png2003.pngx3
This would be a really rare set of items to start with. Buying 1082.png is basically saying you're going to going to get kills on the enemy laner, and you're definitely planning to go aggressive. This isn't really an optimal start, but there are some situations where you could start this. Some matchups where this start is possible are 4.png30.png38.png

Core Items

3165.png In most matchups, you'll probably want to be rushing this, because it gives so many useful stats. You can't really go wrong with 80AP, 20% CDR, and mana regen. It allows you to constantly be aggressive, and farm at the same time. Great buy.

3285.png This item is really good on Ahri, because of the amount of AP, and the movespeed. The passive is also a bonus. I see a lot of people building 3285.png second, but unless you get it early, you lose a lot of your ability to clear caster minions with one ahriorbofdeception.png, so I prefer to go 3089.png second, and then 3285.png after that.
That won't be the build path every game, but's it's a really strong one if you are ahead.

3089.png Perfect buy for every mage. It's just raw AP, and the power spike it gives you is tremendous. I like to buy this second if I'm doing well, but if you are breaking even or you're behind, 3285.png is probably a better buy. If you can't buy this as your second item, definitely get it as your third.

3157.png A lot of AP, some armor, and one of the best defensive actives in the game. This is essential when fighting AD assassins, but with the price of the item, it's better to buy this second, as rushing it puts you too far behind.
Not only is it good for AD assassins, but it's really useful against champions that have some major CC or burst, like 7.png99.png105.png45.png56.png61.png54.png111.png

3135.png Buy this when people start to build magic resist, or you'll be pretty useless against anything that isn't a carry.

3001.png This is your go-to first item when fighting an AP champion with MASSIVE burst (7.png105.png55.png134.png) that is pretty much unavoidable.

3116.png This is a really good defensive item that you can build with 3001.png, or 3157.png. It gives you the ability to kite with a slow, and a lot more survivability

3174.png I almost never buy this item, but when the enemy team has a ton of magic damage, you can get this along with abyssal. It can be a really good buy in the right situation.

3100.png Is really good against champions where you can easily get in basic attack range without much punishment, but it's a pretty situational buy. You're better off going for the raw AP most of the time. Against completely skillshot reliant champs, Lich Bane can be a really good buy when paired with 3285.png.

3009.png This is a really good buy when you're on the defensive, and you already have 3001.png and/or 3116.png

3158.png I don't usually get these, because I run CDR per level glyphs most of the time, but if you're running AP per level, or MR glyphs, these are definitely worth getting, as long as giving up the magic penetration from 3020.png won't hurt you too bad.

VS

Anivia

Medium

Laning phase is pretty easy, just shove the bird into her tower, and watch for jungle ganks. If you get hit by her flashfrost.png, it's all over, but it's really easy to dodge.

Once she hits 6, be careful of her just using glacialstorm.png on you, and hitting you with frostbite.png. To avoid this, just stand off to the side of the minion wave, that way, if she tries to do that to you, you can respond with ahriseduce.pngahriorbofdeception.pngahrifoxfire.png.

If you're ahead of the bird, you can easily kill her if you land ahriseduce.png, just make sure you always dodge her flashfrost.png.
If you're behind, just start building defensive, because she's going to 1 shot you any chance she gets. Shove lane, and roam. If you fight the bird when she has egg, you'll probably die.

VS

Annie

Medium

This lane isn't as bad as some people might think, simply because Annie's range is pretty short, and her pushing power is mediocre. You actually have a chance to kill her before she's 6, but after that, don't bother without some help. Even if you're ahead, all it takes is 4.pnginfernalguardian.png with stun, and you're dead. Poking her with ahriorbofdeception.png is relatively easy, just make sure she can't retaliate with 4.png stun, and you're good.

Build defensive, shove the lane and roam.

VS

Azir

Hard

An experienced Azir will have you under your tower during the whole laning phase, leaving you unable to kill him. He has much stronger pushing power than you do, and his poke is really strong. When the wave is in the middle of the lane, use your chance to poke him while you can. If you come out ahead early, you will walk all over him, but if you're behind, you're gonna have a bad time.

Rush 3165.png if even, or ahead, rush 3001.png if behind.

It's possible to kill him if you land a charm, save your ahritumble.png charges for when he uses azirQ.png to send his soldiers toward you, and also keep his ultimate azirR.png in mind. You can't dash through it. If you can't kill him, just shove and roam.

VS

Brand

Easy

This matchup is a cakewalk. He's going to use his brandfissure.png to hit you when you go for farm, so step toward your farm, and then back away immediately to bait it.

You can beat him in a straight up fight if you dodge his brandblaze.png stun.

You can probably pick up a few kills on him before you start roaming.
Even when behind, you can still outplay him and kill him, just make sure you aren't next to an allied champion or minion, causing brandwildfire.png to hit you more than once.

VS

Cassiopeia

Medium

This lane can go back and forth, but it is in your favour.

Pre-6, just farm, and watch out for cassiopeianoxiousblast.png. An experienced 69.png player will try to poke you as you go for last hits, so just fake it, and she will miss. If you're in a good position to do so, hit her with ahriorbofdeception.png.
If she lands even one cassiopeianoxiousblast.png, be prepared for her to run at you while spamming cassiopeiatwinfang.png. This is a good way to get killed early. Get away from the minions, so you can hit her with ahriseduce.png.

Post-6, you should be fine as long as you don't face her while standing close. If you land ahriseduce.pngahritumble.png toward her and use your full rotation, and immediately turn around, so cassiopeiapetrifyinggaze.png doesn't stun you. After that, just use your remaining ahritumble.png charges to dodge her cassiopeianoxiousblast.png and use another rotation to turn her screen gray.

Her roaming potential isn't too bad, but you're Ahri, so shove her under tower, maybe pick up a few kills, and roam.

VS

Corki

Easy

This lane is pretty easy, just don't take free hits from phosphorusbomb.png. Like most champions, 42.png will use it as you go for last hits, so just fake it, and then throw a ahriorbofdeception.png at his face.

His pushing power is pretty good, but he has to use a lot of mana to do so. You can duel him fairly easily if you land ahriseduce.png, just make sure you dodge his phosphorusbomb.png and missilebarrage.png, or you'll be losing a lot of health, really fast.

It's easy to out roam him, but when he has the package, be careful.

VS

Diana

Medium

The lane is really easy early on, because you can just abuse her melee range by constantly hitting her with basic attacks. Throw ahriorbofdeception.png at her when she goes to farm, and follow up with basic attacks.

After level 6, getting hit by her dianaQ.png can mean death, so when you think she is about to throw it, just walk toward her, but slightly to HER left. Her dianaQ.png will always come out from her model's right side.

Since you can't really fight her at level 6 unless she makes a horrible mistake, just shove her under tower and roam. Rush 3001.png.

VS

Fizz

Medium

This matchup isn't as bad as you might think. Just try not to outplay yourself. The Fizz is waiting for you to use your skillshots, so he can use fizzjump.png to dodge.

Pre=6, you can easily poke him with auto attacks and ahriorbofdeception.png. You want to use basic attacks as much as possible before he hits level 3, because he will probably try to all in you, and he does far more damage than you do, so just stay back once he hits 3, and throw ahriorbofdeception.png when he farms.
Post-6, just be wary of his fizzmarinerdoom.png and you'll be ok. If he goes on you without it, don't use skillshots until he uses fizzjump.png. He's going to fizzpiercingstrike.png onto you, so just use ahrifoxfire.png, and he will use fizzjump.png. Use ahritumble.png to gain distance between you two before he lands on the ground, and use ahriseduce.png where he lands, and you should have yourself a kill.

He's pretty easy to push under tower, so just do that and roam, but try to avoid fights with him. Rush 3001.png and get 3157.png at some point.

VS

Karma

Easy

This one can be annoying, because you can't really kill her. She will stay far back, try to poke you with karmaheavenlywave.png, and she will run away with karmasoulshield.png if you get close. Pay attention to where the jungler is, because she will run toward you with karmasoulshield.png , and then use karmaspiritbond.png into karmaheavenlywave.png, taking a lot of your hp, and then rooting you, for the jungler to come in and kill you.

The best way to beat Karma, is to hit her with ahriorbofdeception.png when she farms. You can actually kill her a few times in the early levels, and if you manage to do that, it's very easy to snowball over her and just keep killing her.

If you're behind, just play it as a farm lane, and roam when you can. Don't try to kill her unless you have somebody with you. You won't do enough damage to break her shield and kill her unless you can catch up somehow, or get ahead.

VS

Karthus

Easy

Honestly one of the easiest lanes there is. Just don't get hit by laywaste.png and you win. He will place them at your feet when you go for last hits, so just be constantly moving, and fake last hits sometimes. laywaste.png Does more damage when it only hits 1 target, so if you absolutely can't dodge it, just stand on an allied minion, and it will barely do any damage.

It's really easy to kill him if you land ahriseduce.png, but always be dodging laywaste.png or he can kill you after he dies, because of his passive.

When he's ultingfallenone.png you, if you have full stacks on ahripassive.png, just use ahriorbofdeception.png on a minion wave, or a jungle camp nearby.

He can't compete with your roaming, and he'll just sit mid, so you can easily kill him a few times and push him to tower, and just go to other lanes.

VS

Kassadin

Easy

This lane is so easy because before level 6, there isn't really anything he can do to stop you from poking him. Your ahriorbofdeception.png deals true damage as well, so he will be taking a lof of damage from that. Just use basic attacks on him, and ahriorbofdeception.png him when he farms. Just don't get too close or he will slow you with forcepulse.png and use nulllance.png as well. It can be really strong if a jungler is near, because the slow is pretty good.

Rush 3001.png, and push him under tower. Roam afterwards, but be prepared for him to follow.

VS

Katarina

Medium

This lane is really annoying because she can spam bouncingblades.png constantly, so just stay away from your minions, and when she uses bouncingblades.png, you can poke her with basic attacks and ahriorbofdeception.png. When she goes all in on your, make sure you use ahriseduce.png behind yourself immediately, or you're going to take a lot of damage. You can easily shove her under tower, and if a jungler comes, she doesn't have any CC to keep you in one place, so getting away from ganks is easy.

Rush 3001.png, shove and roam, killing her is pretty hard unless you land ahriseduce.png, because she will just use shadowstep.png to escape with a ward or a minion.

VS

LeBlanc

Hard

This lane is really garbage and unfun to play in, especially since you can't stop her leblancslide.png with ahriseduce.png, but that DOESN'T mean you can't win. She will probably try to use leblancchaosorb.png on you, followed by leblancslide.png, so just ahriorbofdeception.png her and run away when you see her getting close, but let her use leblancchaosorb.png, because the range is longer than leblancslide.png, so she will have those abilities on cooldown, and you can easily run back in and trade with her.

Post 6, be really careful about her leblancslide.png into leblancchaosorb.pngleblancsoulshackle.pngleblancmimic.png. If you get hit by that, you're dead. Just play around your minions, while keeping distance, and you should be okay.

If you come out ahead in lane, you can probably pick up a few kills on her before roaming, but don't get cocky, her damage is still insane, even if she just has 1 item.
Rush 3001.png.

VS

Lulu

Medium

This matchup isn't too bad, just use ahriorbofdeception.png on her when she goes for last hits, and don't get close enough for her to use lulue.png on you, because it's almost a guaranteed luluq.png. Going all in on her can be dangerous, because of her luluw.png. You will be useless for a couple of seconds, and she can get free hits on you. It's probably best to not fight her, as she will win most trades if she gets close. Don't let her lulur.png bait you if you're both low, because she will just pop that, and then luluw.png into lulue.pngluluq.png.

It's best to just push the lane and roam.

VS

Lux

Medium

Most Lux players will spam luxlightstrikekugel.png and shove the wave into your tower, so don't by your minions, or she will hit you AND the minions with luxlightstrikekugel.png. Make her choose what she wants to hit, by standing off to the side, but also be careful of her luxlightbinding.png. If you get hit with that post-6, you're basically dead. If you manage to hit her with ahriseduce.png before she uses her whole combo, you can get away by immediately using ahritumble.png, and you can even kill her if you have enough hp.

Depending on how the lane is going, you can go 3001.png or 3165.png.

Push her to tower and roam.

VS

Malzahar

Medium

This lane is pretty simple. Don't fight him on your own, try to shove back, but don't get hit by his alzaharmaleficvisions.png when it's on a nearby allied minion. You'll end up under your tower eventually, so just let it happen. Ask for jungle ganks, and roam when you can push the lane.

VS

Orianna

Medium

Poke her with ahriorbofdeception.png, but don't trade with basic attacks, because she will win. try to keep the lane in the middle, or at her tower. Roam when you can.

VS

Swain

Medium

This lane is bullshit. Just rush 3001.png and push the lane into his tower. He really sucks at pushing, so just abuse that, and roam. You can kill him in a 1v1 pre-6, but after that, don't bother unless you are way ahead, or have somebody else with you. Make sure you only fight him with ignite up.

VS

Talon

Easy

I actually find this lane really easy. You can abuse him with ahriorbofdeception.png and basic attacks pre-6, but when you get close to him, or go for last hits, just fake it at first, because he will try to use talonrake.png to poke you down. When he uses taloncutthroat.png to jump onto you, charm behind yourself, use your rotation, and walk to the side, so he misses talonrake.png. At level 6, it helps to have a 2043.png on you. If you play this right, you can pick up a few easy kills, and then you can begin to shove him under tower and roam.

VS

Twisted Fate

Medium

An experienced Twisted Fate player won't try to fight you unless his jungler is nearby, so be wary of 4.pngpickacard.png Gold card. He will just try to shove you under tower, and then roam once he's 6. The best way to fight him, is to shove the lane back, and use ahriorbofdeception.png to poke him. when the lane is shoved, you can roam. Just be aware that he can use destiny.png to countergank at any time. It has a really long cd, about twice the length of ahritumble.png, so once he's used it, you can roam the next time ahritumble.png is up without worrying about TF ult.

VS

Vel'Koz

Easy

Poke him with ahriorbofdeception.png when he goes to last hit, and also shove the lane out. He's really easy to poke while under tower, and he can't really kill you because he has to get in ahriseduce.png range. Just be careful, if you get hit by velkozE.png post 6, you can die if you're at about 65%.

Your all in will absolutely destroy him, because he won't be able to land anything on you. You can outpush him, and outroam him. Very easy matchup.

VS

Viktor

Medium

Don't try to all in Viktor, he will win every time. Just use ahriorbofdeception.png to poke him early, and if you land a charm, he is probably dead if he is about 50%. Just don't get hit by viktordeathray.png, he will use if when you go for farm. Try to adapt for his attack patterns with it, you might get hit by a couple at first, but you better learn fast, or you're going to lose this lane. He might shove you under tower, so just get a jungler to gank for you, and you can kill him easily. He's not too hard to push under tower, so just do that, and roam. Don't try to fight him unless you're pretty ahead, or he makes a major mistake.

Rush 3001.png.

VS

Xerath

Easy

I don't see many people picking him, but you can push the lane and shove him under tower pretty easily, just don't get poked down by xeratharcanopulse.png and you win. You can duel him and kill him easily if you don't get stunned by xerathmagechains.png. Your roaming and pushing potential is better.

VS

Yasuo

Medium

Fighting an experienced Yasuo player can make make pre-6 really frustrating. Just poke him with basic attacks and try to Q him when he goes to farm. If he is using yasuoE.png to dash through minions, you can catch him off guard by using ahriseduce.png BEHIND your minion, so he dashes right into it. if you can, try to save ahriseduce.png for when he uses his yasuoW.png while dashing onto you. Use ahritumble.png to reposition behind his wall, and then use your rotation. Make sure you don't fire ahriorbofdeception.png toward the wall, or it won't come back. Push him under tower if you can, which you probably wont be able to after he is level 3, but once you're about level 7 you should be able to push him back. If you can do this, just roam. If he fights you after 6, you have a better chance of killing him because you can easily dodge his knockup with ahritumble.png.

VS

Zed

Medium

It's easy to poke Zed at level 1, just do it while he farms, by using basic attacks and ahriorbofdeception.png. Just make sure you're behind minions if you're going to get hit by his zedQ.png, because that makes it deal less damage. His level 3 is really scary, because he can just zedW.pngzedQ.pngzedE.png, which can take you to about half hp instantly, and if he's feeling really ballsy, he can just go to his shadow, 14.png, basic attack, and zedE.png you. You're dead. If you think he's going to try this combo, just ahriorbofdeception.png him and run away.

When Zed ults you, he appears behind you, so just ahriseduce.png behind yourself, and use your rotation. When ahriseduce.png's effect runs out, he will immediately go back to his ultimate shadow, so make sure you direct your abilities there.

Try to shove the lane if you can, and roam. Basic Ahri stuff.

VS

Ziggs

Easy

This lane can be frustrating at times, but Ziggs doesn't really have kill potential on you, unless you get hit with multiple ziggsq.pngs.

It's pretty easy to avoid ziggsq.png, but make sure you don't stand too close to your minions, because he doesn't need to hit you with the skillshot, instead he can hit the minions you're standing close to, and the splash damage will hit you.
He might try to throw it as you go for farm, so just walk toward the minion you want to last hit, and once you're in auto range, walk to the side, instead of attacking the minion, and you might bait out the ziggsq.png.

Killing him early can be easy if you land ahriseduce.png when he's at about 60%. Just constantly poke him back with ahriorbofdeception.png, and you'll have a much better time going all in. Just know that he can disengage with ziggsw.png, so try to predict when he will throw it out, and maybe you can flash over it, or just sidestep it.

Ziggs will try to shove you under tower, by spamming abilities on the minion wave, so just shove back with ahriorbofdeception.png. The minion wave will most likely be on your side of the lane, so he's fresh meat for a jungler.

After you have ahritumble.png, landing ahriseduce.png on him means his death. Just save a ahritumble.png charge for ziggsw.png so he doesn't get away. You can make him miss literally every ability, and he can't fight back at all. Picking up a few kills on him in laning phase is really easy.

You can safely rush 3165.png in this lane. When roaming, just be aware of his ziggsr.png, because he doesn't have to be close for him to cast it, and it deals massive damage.
