Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png - IMO best spell for immobile champs.
7.png - great for duo lane cuz it heals both of you by 1 cast.

Note: If you're selfish and you won't use heal for anyone but yourself, it's actually better to grab 21.png instead, or 1.png VS heavy CC lockdown like 89.png 25.png 127.png.

PASSIVE - This passive makes you slow all enemies you hit by AA or abilities, it also changes the way you Crit.

Critical strikes are only increasing slow power, but critical chance increases damage to slowed targets.
For nerds formula of increased DMG: 110%+((1+Bonus Critical Damage)*Critical Strike Chance[%])

Q - This ability doesn't have Cooldown but can be activated only if you have AAed 4 times in a row.
It's your main source of DMG, so I'd recommend you to max it out first.

W - Volley is great tool for farming/poke from long distance in laning phase, but later on it should be concidered as utility spell beacuse it has low base damage, low AD ratio (comparing to other marksmen's) and it doesn't benefit from passive's DMG ratio.

E - Utility spell, grants you and your teammates vision on any location you want. Very usefull in all stages of game. In early game you can spy on enemy jungle and warn your teammates from incomming ganks.

R - Global range arrow, great initiation. Spell rewards sniping ability by increasing stun duriation up to 3,5s, so don't be afraid pressing R when you see someone running from you in distance (in mid/late game).

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Best option to start IMO, as Doran's Blade gives you nice survivability and damage.

Core Items

That's pretty much you wanna buy in almost every game.
Second AS item if you're even or ahead.
    Standard LifeSteal item.
    Standard ArmorPen item.
    Booties for ranged AA-based champ.

Situational Items

If you have trouble with getting higher focus. Replaces Statikk Shiv.
It's great against heavy CC lockdowns. Replaces Bloodthrister.
This item should be bought when facing multiple healers. Replaces Lord Dominik's Regards.
If you're often getting focused by bursty assassin. Replaces Bloodthrister.
If you getting increadible focus by enemy assassins, consider buying this. Replaces Statikk Shiv/Lord Dominik's Regards.
If they have godlike Malphite. Replaces Statikk Shiv/Lord Dominik's Regards.
Sometimes it is viable option if enemy isn't building much armor and you don't need that GA. Replaces Lord Dominik's Regards.

Core items:

Infinity Edge - core item. Crit items normally add to your passive exactly same value of CritChance, with this item that value changes to 1.5x. Example: Without IE Runaan's Hurricane adds to your passive +30% DMG on slowed targets, with IE value is increased to 1.5*30% which is +45% DMG.

Runaan's Hurricane - AS item IMO best for Ashe as it applies passive to secondary targets aswell making it easier for you to kite. Applying passive nearby enemies makes your damage output grow aswell. On Hit effect also scales well with Q's AS bonus.

Statikk Shiv - secondary AS item, more usefull on Ashe than Rapidfire Cannon IMO, because it gives more AS which synergises well with Q (stacking) and with Hurricane's On Hit effect. Passive's magic damage is higher to single target compared to RFC because it can crit. Worth mentioning is that this passive deals AOE DMG.

Bloodthirster - standard LifeSteal item. Provides shield and nice amount of LifeSteal. Best to build if you know you can easily kite.

Lord Dominik's Regards - good vs "standard" teamcomps (2 or 3 tanks), as it penetrates through their armor and increases your DMG output vs enemies with extra HP up to 115%.

Berserker's Greaves - most effective boots on ranged AA based champions such as Ashe. There's no point in buying for example Ninja's Tabi because you will be hiding in backline.

Situational items:

Phantom Dancer - more deffensive option of offensive build. Gives you defensive passive while still providing AS and CritChance. Get it instead of Statikk Shiv if you are focused more than normally.
Mercurial Scimitar - gives you less LifeSteal than Bloodthirster but it's better to for example QSS 89.png's R and flash away if necessary, than having 300HP shield but taking nuke from their carries. QSS works vs almost every CC in game.

Morthal Reminder - weaker in damage than his older brother LDR, but more usefull against multiple healers like 8.png on mid and 36.png top. IMO not worth buying against 1 healer unless it's 16.png.

Death's Dance - item loweres nuke from enemies, giving your teammates a time window to heal/shield you and saving your ass.

Guardian Angel - gives you second life, great against some easy to land 1shots like have 238.png or 107.png.
Just make sure you're not alone to not waste it, because this passive has 5 min CD.

Banshee's Veil - build that if they have that annoing 54.png who keeps R only for you.
FU Malphite.

The Black Cleaver - if enemies aren't building much armor you can buy this item. Stacking 30% Armor Shred is easy with your Q that applies 5/6 stacks with 1 AA, this will apply on secondary targets of Runaan's Hurricane aswell. Item makes kiting easier too.

Some players recommend to build CDR on 22.png. I think it's sorta like building CDR on 157.png
Q - in both cases CD on this spell in modified by AttackSpeed
W - utility spells IMO, but not really necessary to buy CDR
E - both cases flat CD, can't be reduced
R - nice CC, but you most likely will have that R before every teamfight

VS

Caitlyn

Hard

She outranges you, and even if you catch her, she will dash away with E and punish you for getting near. Her traps will force you to move around smaller area making  skillshots easier to land on you. However if you have hard engage support you can kill her buy CC-chaining her.

VS

Draven

Hard

If Draven's mechanics are good, then it will be hell on earth for you. You should avoid trading with him when he has his spinning axes. This is job for your support to make him drop those/get CCed, then try to poke.

VS

Ezreal

Medium

He has an escape from your Arrow, so make sure he wastes his blink first. In 2v2 scenario you outdamage him, but in 1v1 if dodges your R, than he can burst you down.

VS

Jhin

Medium

Jhin is a lane bully but he isn't as nightmairish as Draven. His spells are easly juked even by immobile champions. Similar to Ezreal, 1v1 he will kill you if you won't land R, in 2v2 your DPS is higher.

VS

Jinx

Easy

She won't be a problem for you as her range is way lower in minigun state and she is immobile, so hitting R should be easy.

VS

Kalista

Easy

You have big advantage over her - range. Even tho her passive makes her mobile, your slow will negate this. But still, you should care about her R.

VS

Lucian

Medium

Well, he has better duels but skirmishes you're gonna most likely win. Before you R him make sure he uses his dash.

VS

Sivir

Medium

Your passive makes her Ult less effective, runnig away/chasing will be easier. You outrange her with AAs and spells, but she can avoid getting hit by them activating spellshield (Important to burn her E before gank or 2v2 skirmish).

VS

Tristana

Medium

She deals more damage in both 1v1s and skirmishes due to her AS boost on Q and DMG boost on E, she also have an escape, but it's harder to dodge Arrow with it. When she is hit by CC, she wouln't be a problem.

VS

Twitch

Easy

Just buy pink ward, that's all.

VS

Vayne

Easy

Some people are afraid of this matchup. But she has way lower range and she is very squishy. Best way is just to stay away from walls preventing from getting stunned by her E and keep pink in inventory, if your support doesn't.
