aurelionsolpassive.png - Awesome passive, essentially three additional stars constantly orbiting your outer circle causing extra damage to the target.

aurelionsolQ.png - Stun's are always useful to have in your arsenal and this is no different, imagine being snared by Morg's darkbindingmissile.png or Lux's luxlightbinding.png and being unable to move as they come in closer for a few auto attacks...well q them to stun them right back then active your w for some extra damage.

aurelionsolW.png - This is your main source of damage as when activated it causes 150% damage, can be a bit tricky to use with your auto attack so just reposition so the minions / champions are in your enlarged outer circle

aurelionsolE.png - This is fantastic for map vision and control, on first level it's range is set to 3000 but when fully leveled it's set to 7000, it's great if you're lazy like me and want to get to blue / red as soon as possible. It's great for dodging pesky wards hidden in the usual suspecting bushes like bottom brush / mid brush. Simply use your E to position yourself around their wards, also useful for stealing their red as you can dive through the drake / baron pits.

aurelionsolR.png - This is my new favourite ultimate: Not only does it do so much AP damage but it also slows the enemy and knocks them back to your outer circle, that sounds like carnage to me and oh buddy it is.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Jungle Start #1 - My preferred option
    Jungle Start #2

Core Items

I used to love using blue smite due to the slow and closing advantage however I prefer red smite due to dealing extra damage for 3 seconds and reducing damage from them by 20%.
Rod + Ryais give a nice amount of health and mana which gives Sol the sustain he needs. Abysall is a fantastic item acompanied by Torment you'll eat through any magic resistance they may have causing devastating effects.

Situational Items

If you're getting focused in every team fight by some pesky assassin like zed, talon or fizz etc
If you're rick rolling and they are bitching how OP you are

If he's closing in on you try to use your q to stun him before he uses fizzmarinerdoom.png

If you're chasing him, wait for him to waste his fizzjump.png . Once he does early on it'll have like an 11 second cooldown, so engage with aurelionsolQ.png then flick aurelionsolW.png and chuck in a few auto attacks to put him near death.

Jungle Clearing Back to Top

Being the mana hungry dragon that you are it's imperative you start blue side, especially pre level 6 if you toggle W you'll find your mana drops pretty fast.

Start gromp, ask nicely for help I normally save smite for the blue depending on how nice the laners are. Then go the critter in the river for a bit of a health boost, go kill the wolves then head towards the red camp and kill the krugs. Then go back to base buy your first jungle item and return to red at this point you'll want to start ganking.

Update Log Back to Top

As time goes on I'll update this guide with more information and much more depth - Bare with me.

Ganking Back to Top

Be careful when ganking early on, you don't do that much damage so work with your laner to ensure you get a kill. Fantastic if say your mid laner is Lux or Morgana as you'll have two stuns, so time it well and you'll be guaranteed a kill.

Communication is key when ganking - use pings to say you're on your way and from which direction. ASK which bush has been warded, use your E to position yourself to the left or right of their champion. Use Q to stun them and then toggle W to unless hell.
