Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png Yes, always get this.

6.png What you primarily want to be using with this champion, it gives a lot of much needed movement speed for Aurelion Sol, making him better at staying safe and being aggressive.

3.png is optional against champions like 238.png55.png157.png, etc... Mostly for mobile champions that have easy access to your inner star boundary. Again, useful for both aggression and protection.

Masteries Back to Top

Storm Raider's Surge is quite easy to proc and the 75% slow reduction is absolutely amazing and is sometimes quite hilarious when you get feared.

I take out of combat movement speed so I can come back to lane quickly after a level 3 1082.png buy

Fresh Blood is great for early pressure, after pushing the lane level 1, the enemy who will be csing under tower will probably eat free basic attacks, generally chunking them down to half hp

The 1 point in vampirism and meditation has to do with diminishing marginal utility

Always W first so you can hard push the lane level 1 and bully the enemy under turret.

E level 3 over W level 3 because you generally want to back right after killing the cannon wave and buy your 1082.png

Only take w level 3 if you are sure you aren't going to be at nexus until level 4

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

almost never a reason not to get this, make sure to use it when skirmishing
get this after an early back to augment your corrupting potion

Core Items

this item should be finished as soon as possible, movement speed is what asol is all about
buy this after boots of swiftness and before rylais (pros of this item in explanation)
almost always third item, really great for slowing things down a bit

Situational Items

what you will typically try to buy after rylais
great for when you are getting hammered by ad, sometimes viable right after hextech-glp, finish into zhonyas after rylais
strong 4th or 5th item when the enemy is getting some early magic resist
really strong for when the enemy has an absurd amount of ap, much better than abyssal scepter in most situations
the item that will spike your damage by a huge amount, only get this once you are tanky enough to hold your own
another really strong item, only get this if you already have a rabadons and the enemy has minimal mr
you usually only want this item if you already have banshee's veil and are still getting bopped by ap damage
good item for when you are 10 stacks in on your dark seal and are probably ending the game relatively soon
3030.png is extremely powerful on ASol because of both its active and passive, not to mention the flat stats it gives already. The passive of this item makes you gain health for when you use your mana and gain mana when you lose health, making fighting a whole lot easier for ASol. The active can either be used at the start of a fight to get the star train rolling, or saved for a bit later to help in bursting squishies down.

2033.png1082.png The combo that made singed strong again.. these items are extremely gold efficient when bought together. Try to sell the items AFTER your 4th item (yes they're that efficient) When selling these items, sell corrupting potion first.

Cool down reduction is generally a stat that you avoid as ASol because of it's lack of usefulness for him.
