Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Core Items

    RUSH Tear!
Get it as fast as possible after Tear
After Queen -> Blue vs high mobility champ, Green vs roaming, camping champs, Red vs burst/High dmg
    after jungle item, get Abyssal
You can buy this item when you have atleast 500 stacks on tear

Situational Items

Get this item in situations you feel like you need more hp to keep up with enemies
get this item if you are vs heavy ap team, working very well with Rod of Ages (proc. hp)
vs team that has no MR, very good item.
not working with this build, I would buy it vs vlad or soraka
not worth buying, Queen's is much better
    vs heavy MR team
    vs zed, talon.
    vs heavy CC (Warwick, veigar...)
If you feel like you need more damage, get rabadon.

Laudon’s Cassiopeia guide Back to Top

Introduction

Greetings,
I am called Laudon, the infamous guy who loves playing League of Legends. The main reason why did I decided to write this article is to show you, players, this new build which exceeds with its strength in a current meta.

Guide

Aim

This guide is aimed for players who are on medium/high level of understanding game. Your division in this case does not matter. However, as many people say Cassiopeia is easy champ to play, though It’s not true, truth to be told, she is extremely hard to carry with against the current meta (for example Syndra, Zigs, Kha’zix, Rengar etc. = burst mages, high damage output is short time). At this moment, practically every solo/que fights are decided whether you are able to kill enemy carries.

Strategy

1.      Lobby: Show players that you want to play Cassiopeia, to be sure she won’t get banned or they eventually pick and trade Cassiopeia with you. There may occur “toxic talk”, If such event happens, just write them that you are really confident with your build and ready to win game. (this mostly helps, in my case). Make sure to take runes & masteries.

2.      The game started: Get out of shop as fast as possible.

3.      “Help your jungle”: Now your primary objective is to protect your jungle, don’t be scared to use the trinket. If there is need, try to help your jungler as much as you can.

4.      “That’s all I need”: Make sure to ask your jungler to give you second blue buff, if you obtain such advantage you are able to snowball extremely fast.

5.      “Laning”: Your main objective is to get as much farm as you can, avoid deaths. Keep the farm out of your turret range so you don’t need to waste your mana, in free time, try to make sure to understand what your opponent is thinking and predict his next move by using following three major types (1, If they are aggressive and they can afford to be, just let them and try to freeze farm in front your turret. Don’t ever risk your life for few minions. 2, If they are just farming, let them. There is no reason to be aggressive, because you out scale everyone. 3, If they are trying to roam, and you don’t have ghosts, then just let them go, make sure to ping. If that happens use your mana to get your minion wave under enemy turret, so you can go roam or recall.). When you obtain needed strength, ghosts try to proc passive as much as you can. If you feel that you are in danger, just use it. You can also initiate gank with its slow. Try to farm jungle camps as much as you can after tear and ghosts.

6.      “Teamwork”: In team fights try to keep distance from enemies and poke/kite them out. You can also gain a huge boost for your team by soloing dragon or even nashor, late game. Keep in mind that killing those objectives is an extremely mana hungry.
