Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png7.png Flash is always a 100% must. However the heal is the next best spell to take on corki as it heals the team and give a movement speed boost which is just so useful in all situations; whether it be to kite in a teamfight or to chase down the enemy, heal is one of the most versatile spells in the game.

1.png Cleanse is also in here as there are some champions that will end you at level 6 (i usually take this spell if i am laning into Lissandra). Sadly in these situations the heal just won't provide enough healing through an ignite and Lissandra ultimate lissandraR.png to save you whilst a cleanse will remove both and you can fly to the skies!

3.png Exhaust is in if you have an easy opponent midlane and want to completely and utterly dominate the lane and snowball into a thing of legend, or into a team with a vayne where you can exhaust her and kill her before she can 1v5 and win). Using exhaust in tandem with the shred from gattling gun ggun.png will absolutely remove any defence the opposition may have be it tank or not. However exhaust's effectiveness does become less in the late game where it provides less use in a teamfight than heal (late game corki doesn't need exhaust to delete anything it's just a stupidly OP cannon). Also corki has quite a short range on his abilites other than his R missilebarrage.png and his heal will just mean he can survive in a full blown teamfight just that bit longer and  kite attacks that bit more.

Masteries Back to Top

This is the highest damage output masteries corki can utilize, making best use of the Vampirism (the lifesteal applies with his autos and the spellvamp applies with his abilites for healing from all sources)

The bounty hunter is very effective for increasing that snowball, along with the merciless mastery, by picking up kills on top lane and bot lane with the huge range of his special package and the INSANE damage it deals, it really can turn him into a roaming god punishing any lane that leaves their turrets.

Thunderlords should also always be your keystone because of the INSANE burst it gives and just make corki so so so scary to trade with. It can be procked instantly with gattling gun or use it to poke with the combo: Q->auto->BIG ONE (3rd rocket)

I always start E playing corki midlane. Starting E means you can really have some very strong level 1 trading because you will shred their armour and magic resist, get an instant thunderlords prock and give your auto that bit more damage punishing  them for coming in for some level 1 harassment. Also it costs less mana than starting Q and corki's loves burning his mana pretty quickly.

W is usually my next skill to put a point in because you can escape any early ganks the jungler may try to pull, however if they have a jungler like Master Yi 11.png or any other junglers that do not have a good early level gank or you're being pushed up to your turret then going Q second is your best bet to start clearing the waves and increasing that early harassment.

However the rest is standard corki maxing Q->E->W and put a point in R whenever you can.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Standard start
get this as early as possible

Core Items

    Rush these items
    Standard after Triforce
Versus a strong AP laner, usually get after cull

Situational Items

If they have a largely AP team
all these items are good depending on what you need at the time
Example build VERSUS a heavily AP team
    The OP cannon build
A strong build against a team that has stacked MR
So at the start of the game i always start Dorans blade because it's just such a good item providing sustain and damage. I will usually back quite early and the buy cull and start earning gold much faster with corkis brilliant waveclear.
And then once i have these two items, it really depends on who i'm laning for what i buy next. If it is a hard AP champion with good early game harassment 103.png1.png7.pngetc, i will get a hexdrinker as soon as possible, as to not be burst down at their level 6 power spike, and then start building into triforce and sorcerers boots.
Otherwise, i will usually go sheen->-boots->phage->triforce. UNLESS they are proving a threat and then i will go phage first for that extra sustain and kiting ability from it's passive.
As soon as i have triforce under my belt, I go AWOL. Push the lane up into their turret and get roaming and killing because the corki triforce spike is super strong and not most midlaners cannot trade with it if you prock the sheen correctly (fire your ulti missilebarrage.pngevery 2 seconds to make the most effective use of your sheen) and mix that with the damage from ggun.png and phosphorusbomb.png the enemy midlaner is gonna have a bad time.
After you have your triforce and sorcerers boots, your next items should be essence reaver and infinity edge (essence reaver first if you feel like extended trading is important, infinity edge first if you want to snowball harder)
After you have those 4 items, that is your core build complete and you can start specializing. For example if you have a strong frontline and they don't have any assassins buying a vamp sceptre and then building rapid fire cannon then a bloodthirsters would be a very strong end build.
Whilst if you've been forced to buy the early hexdrinker you should buy the maw of malmortius and then decided on your final item whether it should be defensive: guadian angel, mercurial scimitar, or offensive: wits end, bloodthirster, voidstaff, rapid firecannon.
