Summoner Spells Back to Top

With this build, you will burst anyone from slightly tanky to not tanky. (This includes the gauntlet Ezreal 81.png)
Choose what you want from barrier, exhaust, and heal, but always take flash. Instant mobility is the key to getting multiple kills. W carpetbomb.png is NOT ENOUGH to move you around the enemies. Ahri should have a hard time keeping up.
Exhaust if there is really only one of the enemy that can burst you when you rush in.

Heal if you are really able to sync with the support with it.
Barrier for all else as a general stop-burst spell.

Masteries Back to Top

If Corkie builds completely AD, he will deal exactly half of his damage as physical damage, and the other half as magic damage, so the combination of lethality and magic pen. does a lot to increase his damage. Thunderlord's Decree helps him burst the enemy down. Savagery helps with farming in the start of the game. Natural Talent gives him a decent boost in his damage, even at the start of the game.

E ggun.png is the real engage ability. 60% of his total damage will come from this ability. If you have it up, your engage will (situations will vary) most likely be successful so long as it is hitting the enemy. If it is not up, do not engage, it will mean your death. Your E and basics alone can win the fights.
R is the real POKE ability. Thunderlord's Decree is useful in two situations: hard poke (through R) or hard engage (through E), take your pick, just remember, it will be back again after a slight cooldown.
Q has little effect besides a small amount of extra damage and enabling you to do things. It is for vision into the bushes. Don't go facecheck the bush to use Q, rather, if the enemy is attempting to escape or otherwise outmaneuver you through bushes etc, then use Q.
W is your movement ability. It works alongside flash to get you into, out of, and around the fights.

With the package, there are two things to note. 1st: you will ALWAYS go the full distance. 2nd: (works in hand with the first) use the package W to fly straight PAST all of the enemies and get a good distance away. It damages and disrupts the enemy, making it the perfect engage that lets you escape unharmed. You should be able to basic attack the enemy or close to it when you use it with the package. Then you can use W AGAIN to move to the side or farther behind the enemy, depending on what you want to do.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Start with these, NOT Doran's blade. Life steal (which Doran's blade provides) is only HALF effective for Corkie, on account of only healing from physical damage applied through basic attacks.

Core Items

After 1 second of hitting them with E, they have 30% less armor.
Hextech will heal a Corkie more effectively than a Bloodthirster. Infinity Edge is a HIGH damage item. Trinity force finishes your CDR, increases your attack speed, movement speed, AND your attack damage.
    The major defensive item.
This adds a LOT of damage, and as an ability-dependent ADC, this enables you to keep using your abilities. THIS IS ESSENTIAL.

Situational Items

E applies the black cleaver effect, so getting black cleaver completely cleaves 30% of the enemies' armor in 1 second flat when you rush in to kill them.

Hextech Gunblade is Corkie's only REAL sustain item. Because half of his auto attack damage (including crits) is transformed into magic damage, lifesteal is only half effective as on any other ADC. 3072.png = 20% lifesteal for most, but is only 10% lifesteal for Corkie.
Altogether, this gives 40% cooldown reduction. Corkie acts like a mage in the fact that his abilities do way more than his auto attacks.
Wit's end is NOT useful because it will only shred magic resistance if you basic attack them, so it is just a waste.
This build will even burst down tanks drastically (though if they are SUPER tanky it might only bring them down by half at first). Most ADC's and Mages will be dead within 2 seconds of engagement.

VS

Alistar

Medium

His CC is hard, but it cannot be used ALL the time.

VS

Ashe

Easy

Ashe herself is super easy, so long as her ult does not get you. Play safe until after level 4, then tear her to shreds with a strong E.

VS

Braum

Easy

Braum does not have much immediate hard CC. You burst the enemy, so it doesn't really matter.

VS

Ezreal

Medium

As a low-range (magey) marksman, Ezreal has some mean poking ability. However, if you handle the early game well, you will be able to burst him later. Just be mindful to make it a surprise so he cannot ezrealarcaneshift.png shift his way out. ggun.png deals most of your damage, don't let him escape after you use it.

VS

Kindred

Medium

Her Ult kindredr.png makes it hard to burst her to death, so just be prepared to finish her the moment it ends, or get out of there. However, without her Ult it is pretty easy to burst her, just rush up to her face.

VS

Leona

Hard

Hard CC shuts Corkie down. The E will still deal damage, but as a short-range ADC, you need to get close enough to hurt your target.
