Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png and 12.png are pretty much staple summoner spells for any top laner. Flash is used to avoid life threatening situations or closing in the gap to get the kill. Teleport is used to provide recovery in lane and provide global presence and split push in mid to late game.  

6.png and 12.png are my preferred summoner spells to run on Dr. Mundo in all lanes match ups. Ghost still lets you escape from ganks early on in the laning phase especially if there is a lack of cc on the enemy team. At level 6 and beyond popping ghost and your sadism.png with the bonus movement speed and health regen will let you escape almost anything. The key in running ghost is not to overextend in the early phase and farming it out with your infectedcleavermissilecast.png. Since it gives full health refund upon killing a unit it's a free way to farm.

Masteries Back to Top

You take the the sorcery mastery because your main damage as stated before is coming from infectedcleavermissilecast.png and burningagony.png

Feast because it helps you sustain in the early phase since you technically have negative sustain in lane.
You go for vampirism  because the spell vamp will help heal throughout fights.
Recovery you take for the added health regen you don't need the added percent armor and magic resistant because you'll be stacking a ton later anyway.
Tough skin because it helps you survive range matchups like 126.png that is quite popular right now.
Runic armor because it helps increase your insane health regen.
Perseverance helps you survive when your health drops low and will help turn fights when you pop your ult at low health.
Swiftness prevents crowd control from hindering you and lets you go straight to their back line
Grasp of undying just gives you the greatest trading power in lane and lets you chunk out opponents in team fights.

Everyone who runs 36.png maxes out infectedcleavermissilecast.png because it not only makes farming super easy with its low cooldown and health refund, but because it does damage based on your enemies health. Also providing a slow provides a great way to chase down and kill enemies.


burningagony.png is maxed second in my opinion because it not only dishes out huge amounts of damage but reduces disables meaning in addition to your tenacity no one can stop you. In addition allows you to have mad wave clear to push like mad.
masochism.png is taken second for the auto attack reset to farm in lane under tower or in general and is maxed last because i feel offers the least amount of damage compared to the rest of your skill set.
sadism.png this is your ult like any champion max if when you can.

Starting Items

    This is your best start in every situation. Provides health regen and prevents extra damage.
    This could be taken against hard AD matchups if you really feel you need the extra health. I never really opt to use this.

Core Items

    This the kind of build you would go if the enemy team has a healthy mix of AP and AD damage. And some considerable CC.
    If the enemy team is full AD.

Situational Items

    Honest;y running the first three is only if you are fed beyond belief. While the last two if you feel you need to protect your carry because you trust them or need them to carry
