Summoner Spells Back to Top

The two best summoner spells for junglers overall. It's just common sense.

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

You mainly want to edge towards AP and scaling it, but sometimes you can put a point into the misc. and attack damage categories.

You want to start off with Q, and max it out. After, you max out E, and then W. Put a point into R every time you can.

You can also start off with W and max it out last, but never start out with E, because it doesn't help you jungle clear long term.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Basic Starting Items

Core Items

First off, Runic Echoes, for the little AP you need. Then the core items of Lich Bane, Zhonya's, and Rabadon's, which gives you crazy good AP, sustain, and a little health and movement speed. Also, Void Staff gives you a pretty good amount of magic penetration. Finally, typical sorcerer's shoes for speed and magic resist.

Situational Items

Just in case of a crazy game. XD

Build items on Ekko with AP only, he doesn't work well with attack damage and speed, but does work very well with AP and magic penetration.

VS

Aatrox

Medium

During a battle with Aatrox, just be careful to time your W and try to hit your Q both ways, forward and back, but just make sure it hits coming back because it does twice the damage. Also, use your E late in the battle, just to get the edge late in the fight. Team fight wise, Ekko is much better because of his W and R abilities.

VS

Aurelion Sol

Easy

VS

Ekko

Hard

VS

Hecarim

Medium

VS

Lee Sin

Hard

You just need to outplay the Lee Sin as much as you can.

VS

Master Yi

Easy

Just make sure that you have all your abilities ready.

VS

Volibear

Medium

In the early game, you will surely win, but in the late game, you can lose if you don't have enough health or your abilities are on cooldown.

VS

Warwick

Easy

VS

Wukong

Medium

Just don't fall for his clone. He can pick you off that way.

VS

Xin Zhao

Hard

Xin Zhao is Xin Zhao. He is extremely hard to beat unless you are able to hit him first with your W and E, and hit your Q both ways, forward and back, and remember, it does twice the damage when the Q is coming back.

VS

Yorick

Easy

Just hit all your abilities and you are fine. XD

VS

Zac

Medium

Either you can win, or he can win. Just make sure you hit your primary abilities.

Ability Combos Back to Top

Double Tap: W - E - Q

____________________

Ekko is too squishy to start fights, but he is excellent at setting them up thanks to his kit. Start off by placing your W - ekkoW.png (Parallel Convergence) where you want your teammates to go. Their knock ups, stuns, or slows should last long enough for you to engage in with E - ekkoE.png - (Phase Dive) and trigger the stun with some damage. After, hit your Q - ekkoQ.png (Timewinder) to get some more damage off.

Hit and Run: E - Q - R
____________________

Sometimes in a league game you see a squishy positioned away from the team, and you need that kill. First, you E - ekkoE.png (Phase Dive) in, to closen the gap, and then teleport and hit the target. After, hit your Q - ekkoQ.png (Timewinder) both ways (it does twice the damage coming back), and finish off the job. To get out of safety, R - ekkoR.png (Chronobreak) out! Just don't to the same spot.

The One: W - R - Q
__________________

This combo is the perfect one to engage on an enemy team while they are running away. Cast your W - ekkoW.png (Parallel Convergence) where your timeclone is going to be in 4 seconds, then as the enemy team heads through the slowing zone, R - ekkoR.png (Chronobreak) to put yourself back into the W. You will trigger the stun and deal tons of damage!
