In most situations, you should get Sorcerer's Shoes. This will make you a little stronger in fights. The only time I wouldn't go Sorc Shoes is when you have a lot of magic damage on your team. In this situation, you could go Boots of Mobility (this is the best for early game, gank heavy style) or Ionian boots of Lucidity.
-
You should buy this whenever you back if you dont have one active or in a good spot. In lane, you should put this in the brush to the left (top side) of the lane, assuming that you are keeping the lane shoved. This will increase the threat of an ult and will ensure that it isnt warded. This brush is much easier to ult from than the brush on the right (bottom) side.

VS

Ahri
Medium
In this lane, you should spam E to shove out the lane. If she gets low (40% or lower), you can likely burst her down with Q E W ignite. If you hit level 6 and you want to use your ult to kill the Ahri, you should Q immediately after the ult to give her no time to ult. (R Q E W ignite)
VS

Akali
Easy
Akali is a melee champion with negligible ranged poke, which makes for an extremely easy lane for Fiddlesticks, as long as you are not behind in the lane.
VS

Anivia
Medium
In this lane, you should spam E to keep the wave shoves and force her to CS under turret pre-6. You should use this shove advantage to help other lanes because it is hard to kill her before 6 without jungle assistance. At level 6, she can combo you with her wall, which could kill you in the Q lands as well. You should wait for her to drop her r to clear the minion wave before trying to clear the wave yourself. In this lane, you should mostly focus on shoving and getting other lanes ahead. She is also easy to gank if your jungler wants to put pressure on her.
VS

Annie
Medium
In this matchup, just keep the lane shoved with E. She doesnt have a way to clear minions aside from spamming Q on the wave. You will be poking her down without her having a chance to retaliate. At 6, she should be an easy kill with your R Q E W ignite combo, assuming she isnt building too defensively.
VS

Aurelion Sol
Medium
Aurelion Sol is a pretty snowbally matchup. If the enemy Sol is good, he is one of the few champions that you cant shove into turret at level 1. You should just play this lane safe, as both champs are pretty similar. They both are good at shoving and want to roam. He will be able to get to roams quicker, but you should have more impact in fights with your ult, so this should be a lane that you shouldnt mind going even in, especially since he usually builds tanky and is hard to kill. He is easy for your jungler to gank since he doesnt have a good escape, but if your jungler doesnt want to gank, you should just be fine with going even most times in this matchup and win the game in teamfights.
VS

Azir
Medium
The key to this lane is knowing Azir's cooldowns and where he is putting his soldiers. In general, you want to stay away from your minion wave because that will force Azir to choose between using his soldiers to CS or harass. At level 1, you can shove him into turret by using E. You should be pretty safe to E W him if he gets too close, assuming you are safely positioned in lane where you can escape a possible gank. Once you see him move his soldiers, you need to start moving away from them because they will chunk you down if you get hit by them. If things get rough and he starts poking you down hard, you will probably need to farm with E and try to drain under the turret. At level 6, he is extremely squishy, but if you don't chain your CC's right, you probably wont kill him because of his knockback. You should try to get him to 3/4 HP or lower before ulting it (you can kill him from full HP if he has no defensive items and you chain your abilities correctly). When you go in, you should R Q E W ignite him, which should be enough to bring him down.
VS

Brand
Medium
You cannot be super aggresive vs Brand because of his enourmous damage output and potential stun, which he will always hit if you are standing still, draining him. He is also very good at clearing waves, but if he does, that is when you can be aggressive, because most of his cooldowns will be down. For this reason, you should just keep the lane shoved with your E. When level 6, you should be able to instantly kill him with your R Q E W ignite combo.
VS

Cassiopeia
Hard
Cassi is a hard matchup because of how annoying he long range poke is. If you can outplay her, and dodge her pokes, you will win the lane, because, if you can get in range of being able to E Q W her, it will put a ton of damage down onto her. However, it is very hard to get that close to her if she knows what she is doing.
VS

Cho'Gath
Medium
A very difficult matchup if you get behind, but you do have a big advantage before he recalls for his first purchase. I would suggest getting aggressive on him from the start, because if you let him get to a high level, he will be unkillable and will have kill pressure on you. In this lane, you should start with drain and stay near your melee minions. If he comes up to farm, use your drain on him. You should try to freeze as much as possible if you have a lead in this lane, but if he catches up, you should just resort to shoving the lane with E and trying to roam to help your other lanes.
VS

Corki
Medium
Corki is a lane that you should keep shoved with E. It will be possible to kill him at 6 unless he buys an early hexdrinker, in which case, you will need to poke him down a bit first. You shouldnt get too aggressive in this lane because Corki has very good sustained damage and can run you down if you overextend. That said, he shouldnt have too much kill pressure on you without his jungler ganking you, so for this lane, you should just ward up and you should be fine.
VS

Diana
Medium
Diana is an extremely easy matchup pre level 6, but once she hits 6, she has instant kill pressure on you if she lands a Q. You should try to keep her from CSing early by trying to freeze the lane and only try to last hit with auto attacks. If she comes up to farm, you can W her or E W her if you dont mind shoving the minion wave into the turret and having it bounce back. At 6, you can kill her if you get the jump on her, but you really need to pay attention to her Q's because of how much burst she gains with her ult.
VS

Ekko
Medium
If you are laning vs Ekko, you should watch for when he uses his stun, which will pop up shortly after he casts it. If he uses this, he probably has jungle assistance so you should Q him and walk away. If you are sure that he doesnt have assistance, you should try to step to the side and Q E W or E W and use Q for a potential escape. He isn't that hard of a matchup til level 6, and you can use E W to harass him in lane, then use your Q and walk away when he throws his circle stun to counter.
VS

Fizz
Medium
In this lane, you should just stay near your melee minions and drain him whenever he gets in range. If he uses his E to go in the air, do not cancel your drain, as it will continue to damage him and heal you while he is in the air. You can Q him when he lands and walk away. If he is low, you can Q E W ignite him to try to get the kill. In this lane, you should build an early because he has a ton of burst damage at level 6+.
VS

Heimerdinger
Easy
In this lane, you should make sure that you get to lane as soon as possible. You do not want to leave Heimer to have 3 turrets set up at any time. You can outrange his turrets with your E, so just use your E to kill them and shove minions. Try to kill them every time he places them (but dont get close enough to where they damage you). His turrets are on a much higher cooldown than you E, so you should not really have many issues with taking them out every time they are placed. When you hit 6, he is a very easy kill, because he has no escape abilities, and is very squishy. You should R Q E W ignite him for an easy kill at level 6.
VS

Karma
Medium
VS

Karthus
Easy
In this lane, you should try to keep the lane shoved with E while trying to juke all of his Q's. If he is trying to hit you with Q's, the wave will shove into him and he will likely miss CS under turret. He is an easy kill at level 6 with a R Q E W ignite combo, assuming that he is not building defensively. If he tries to ult while near you (likely to kill someone in another lane), you can cancel his ult with your Q or E.
VS

Kassadin
Medium
This lane is pretty easy before Kassadin hits level 6. You should either E W him whenever possible, or wait for him to use his Q to farm or harrass, then run next to him and W him. Once he hits 6, when you engage him, you need to immediately fear him so that he does not rift walk away. For this reason, you will likely only be able to solokill him if he is below 60% HP.
VS

Katarina
Easy
In lane, you can zone her out of getting experience, and W her every time she gets close. If she all-ins you, you should not retreat, as your drain should be more powerful than her damage. When you hit 6, she is very mobile, so you should R Q ignite, walk with her for a second, E W her. You should prioritize her in team fights because she can do a ton of damage to your team with her resets and she is very easy for you to kill.
VS

Kayle
Easy
At level 1, you should shove the lane with E. If she ever comes forward to melee range to last hit, you can hit her with an E W. When level 6, use R Q E W ignite her. If you chain the E a little after the Q, you can get a bit more damage, but you need to make sure that she has no time to cast ult, or else you won't get the kill. In team fights, you should try to fear her and focus her as soon as possible so that her ult never goes off and so that she saves no one. Also, she does a lot of damage in team fights if she isnt killed early.
VS

LeBlanc
Medium
In this matchup, you actually have a decent amount of kill pressure before level 6 if the LeBlanc underestimates your damage. You should keep the wave shoved with E. If she looks like she wants to go aggressive, you can wait for her to W in, then use your E W on her. If she is low enough, you may even be able to Q E W ignite for the kill. At level 6, you both have kill pressure on each other. You can kill her with a R Q E W ignite combo, and she can kill you if she lands her snares on you and ignites (or if she is ahead).
VS

Lissandra
Medium
In this matchup, you should try to keep the lane shoved with E and not stand behind your minions. This will force Liss to use Q on the wave, and she won't be able to retaliate any damage to you. She is very good at setting up ganks, so watch out for when she uses her E to go in, as she probably has someone around. You can fear her and walk away, which will make sure that she can't follow in on the E. If you are setting up for a gank, you should try to wait for her to try to E out, then Q her so that she can't take it.
VS

Lux
Hard
Lux is a tough matchup, and one that you should consider getting ,
,or both if you start to fall behind. The best way to play this lane is to keep the lane shoved with E. You have kill pressure on her if you get a good ult, but she has kill pressure on you if she is 6 and lands a binding, so this matchup is mostly about dodging her skillshots. You should stay away from the minions while farming so that she has to choose between using her E to farm or to harass.
VS

Malzahar
Hard
In this lane, you should just try to keep shoving the lane with E and make him use his abilities on the minion wave. You shouldnt go in with your ult until you get his passive shield down with one of your E bounces. When you do get his shield down, you need to go into fog and ult him when your E is up and his shield isn't up, which isn't a very large window, but it's the only chance you will likely have of solo-killing him. If you can predict when he will use his voidlings, you can throw your E at him and it will give the E something to bounce off of if you are fighting him with no minions around.
VS

Orianna
Medium
In this lane, you should constantly use E to shove the lane and stay away from your minions and her ball. She will usually be using her ball to waveclear, so you should be able to get good damage on her without retaliation. You can use your early shove advantage to try to pressure other lanes.
VS

Ryze
Medium
In this lane, you can duel ryze somewhat easily as long as he does not have any MR items build (which usually he won't until right after laning phase). You can play this lane safe and use your E to shove. If he tried to aggressively shove the lane and you know that you arent at risk of a gank, you can E W him for very good damage, he will likely have to back off. He will be easy to set up a gank for since he has no escapes, so if he tries to harass and your jungler comes, he is basically a free kill. At 6, you will be able to kill him from full Hp if he has no defensive items yet with an R E Q W ignite combo. If he has defensive stats, you will need to get him lower first.
VS

Swain
Medium
This is a very snowbally matchup. If you get a good lead, you can stomp swain, but if he gets a lead, you wont be able to fight him alone at all (even with ult). I would suggest playing this lane safe and using your E to keep the wave shoved. You shouldnt stay near the minions and get hit by his AOE, because he will need to clear minions with it.
VS

Syndra
Hard
In this matchup, you can outshove Syndra, but you never want to get too close to where she combo you. You should buy a ,
, or both of these to stay alive in this lane. You do have good kill pressure on Syndra at level 6 if you land a good ult combo - R Q E W ignite. You should stay away from minions in this matchup to avoid damage from her waveclearing abilities.
VS

Taliyah
Medium
If you are laning against Taliyah, you should just try to keep the lane shoved with your E because she has a lot of waveclear herself and has a ton of damage if she hits you with a couple of abilities. Her Q won't be able to hit you if you have minions in front of you, which is another reason you are going to want to keep the wave shoved. At level 6, you can all in her pretty easily as long as you don't get hit by her knockback. In lane, you shouldn't try draining her unless you know you will be fine because you will set yourself up to get hit by her combo, which can probably kill you if you aren't full HP or if she has ignite.
VS

Talon
Medium
Talon should be a fairly easy matchup and doesnt have much kill pressure until level 6. When he hits 6, he can instantly kill you if you aren't careful. efore 6, you should punish his lack of range and force him to CS with rake. If he comes up to last hit a minion with an autoattack, you can E W him or Q E W him for a lot of damage. You should try to keep this lane frozen on your side and he should be an easy kill with a jungle gank if he tries to come up to CS>
VS

Twisted Fate
Medium
Twisted Fate should be a pretty easy matchup, but he can put more pressure on the map with his ult if you dont dont keep him shoved in with E. So for this lane, you should keep it shoved with E and try to pressure the rest of the map. You shouldnt stay near your minions, or else you will likely get hit by his red card which he should be using to clear the wave. You can kill him at level 6 with a R Q E W ignite combo.
VS

Veigar
Easy
In this lane, you should keep the lane shoved in so that Viegar cannot stack his Q as optimally as he would like. He will likely want to CS during laning phase, so you can roam and affect other lanes while the lane is pushed in. At level 6, he should be an easy kill if he didn't buy any MR. Use an R Q E W ignite combo.
VS

Vel'Koz
Medium
In this lane, you should keep the lane shoved by using E. You shouldn't stay too close to the minions, or else you will take a good amount of damage from his W, which is his main wave clear ability. At level 6, he can kill you if he lands a knockup, but you can kill him if you jump on him with an R Q E W ignite combo, so you need to play from a safe distance and try to control the top side river brush that you can ult from.
VS

Viktor
Medium
In this matchup, you should keep the wave shoved with E. He should not be able to outdamage your drain until he gets ult, but he will try to stun you if you just sit there draining him. So I would say to use you E to keep the wave shoved, and if he goes to try to Q you, you can E W him to win the trade (assuming you know that the enemy jungler isnt there). At 6, he should be an easy kill since he likely won't have resistances (he usually rushes upgrading his hexcore item), so you can kill him from full HP when he gets near the minion wave with an R Q E W ignite combo.
VS

Vladimir
Easy
In this matchup, you should beat vlad with relative easy. It wouldnt be a bad idea to put multiple points into drain, since you drain will be able to out-heal his damage. The drain also goes through his pool, which some vlad players dont realize until they die to the drain while they are in their pool. When you go for the kill, make sure you ignite him ASAP so that you cut his healing.
VS

Xerath
Medium
VS

Yasuo
Medium
VS

Zed
Medium
In this lane, you can play somewhat aggressively early, Zed shouldnt have much kill pressure on you until he is 6 (unless you get to 65% HP or less, in which case, he could kill you before level 6 if he lands everything) You shouldn't stand near the minions, since his poke is AOE, and he is going to want to use it on the minions to last hit.
VS

Ziggs
Medium
In this matchup, it is hard to get near Ziggs in this lane if he knows what he is doing, since he has a lot of skills that have long range that are on short cooldowns. You should just try to farm with your E and stay away from your minions so that he has to either use his abilities to farm or harass.. Don't let him do both at the same time.
VS

Zilean
Medium
In this matchup, you should spam E on the wave to keep zilean pushed under turret and force him to use his bombs on the minions. If he does land a bomb on you, make sure that you walk away from the minion wave so that he has to use his rewind and another bomb or his autoattacks to last him the minions. He is a very easy kill pre-6 if you get a gank, but even at 6, you have kill pressure if you can chain your CC well.
VS

Zoe
Medium
In this matchup, you want to keep the lane pushed as much as possible. If you can keep Zoe pushed in, it will force her to use her Q's on the minions, and she cannot try to harass, so you should just stand behind your melee minions and keep the lane shoved with E. If you lose sight of her, you shouldn't stand near any walls so that you don't get hit by the Sleepy Trouble Bubble. At level 6, she is fairly easy to all in assuming she doesn't have cleanse in some form (as a SS or with her W), as she has no escapes. If you keep vision of Zoe, this should be a fairly straight forward lane where you should be able to out-shove her and pressure the map more than she does.
