Summoner Spells Back to Top

11.png: needed as a jungler for objective control and better clear

4.png: I take this in 99% of my games when I go jungl, since flash provides a great escape or engage (you can flash in the second instance of your fizzjump.png

3.png: I don't use this ever, but I list it, since it can be useful if u don't need the mobility from flash and you play against a 102.png, 11.png, 5.png.

14.png: Useful if you play against a very squishy jungler, with a weak earlygame and you want to snowball hard

Masteries Back to Top

In the Ferocity Tree I go Sorcery for the increased Ability Damage, because I want to hurt the enemies with my W active.

Double Edged Sword is a excellent coice if you want invade the enemy jungl and if you have kill pressure against the enemy jungler.
Expose Weakness is the perfect coice if you don't have kill pressure and wan't to gank very often (the increased damage from your teammates is insane)

Vampirism over Natural Talent, because you have so much better sustain with this mastery.

Bounty Hunter or Oppressor?
I go for Opressor in most of my games, since the damage early on is pretty nice and this mastery is more save.
If you go with Bounty Hunter and you're unable to get kills, you have no increased damage.
With Oppressor you have 2.5% increased damage, if you land the slow from your E or R.

Recovery over Unyielding, Fizz is not the champ who wants to be in big teamfights all day.

Explorer over Tough Skin, in my opinion is Explorer an essential mastery for every jungler, just because you are faster and gank more, you can take Tough Skin for the synergy with fizzpassive.png if u're feelin' it.

Veteran's Scars over Runic Armor, I have no heal, which could be increased.

Swiftness over Legendary Guardian, a cc'd Fizz is a dead Fizz, so reduce the duration of disables.

Why Strength of the Ages?
I want to get tanky, while building damage items in early.

Why fizzseastonepassive.png max?
I max fizzseastonepassive.png with this itembuild, because it is a onhit effect and you have a onhit build, so why don't max the ability which deals more damage onhit.

fizzjump.png max second?
You get more damage and utility from maxing fizzjump.png second instead of fizzpiercingstrike.png
Take fizzmarinerdoom.png whenever you can.

Starting Items

    Starting Items
    Different Start

Core Items

Build this as second or third Item Since this Item got reworked, it now has the passive from the old sated Devour if it is stacked
The Black Cleaver is THE goto item if you build bloodrazor, since you deal more damage with each hit (until the 6 stacks cap is reached) if your rageblade is already stacked you need just 4 autoattacks to reach the cap
Iceborn is the sheen item you want to build, since you don't stack passives like the Phage passive which you already got from the Black Cleaver. The Stats and the slow are nice too.
Swifties are the Boots you want to go with, since you have 40% cdr. you don't need Ludicity Boots.
I take greensmite because I need to get early control of the enemy's jungl Bloodrazor is our goto here, since the 4% enemies max live damage is a onhit effect

Situational Items

excellent choice as a last item, to get some mr stats
A bunch of Armor and HP
AD + HP + awesome passive -> Helps to be sticky
    against more than 2 autoattacker
Very agressive item, helps if you snowball. Build this if u're facing much mr
Nah you don't want this item, since you already got a phage passive from Black Cleaver and a Sheen passive from Iceborn Gauntlet.
Still an option, but I believe Swifties are stronger right now.
Take Bluesmite if you're not experienced with ganking with a low cc jungler. Take Redsmite, if you play against a jungler, who fights much to profit from the Skirmishers Smite Take
Nice item, gives you amazing stats and a quite nice passive/active if you're splitpushing.
    get some HP baby

VS

Aatrox

Easy

Probably the most easy matchup, ur W passive reduces his heal, use your E to dodge his Q and win.

Don't fight if he hits 6 and you are 5, since he will outdps you with his ult

VS

Alistar

Hard

you can kill him, but it takes too long to do so (time his teammates can rotate to catch you). Try to get a kill invading while he's doing his first clear, if you get a kill you can snowball pretty hard

VS

Diana

Medium

Diana is the second hardest matchup for AP Fizz, bait her shield, Playful/Trickster her Q and outdps her

VS

Ekko

Medium

skill matchup, if ekko misses his stun/shield u win.
Use E to deny the 3rd stack of his passive

VS

Elise

Easy

dodge her human E (Stun) win fight

VS

Fizz

Medium

Depending on his Buildpath it could be an skill matchup (if he builds dps too).
You outclass the tank and the damage fizz, since you can E all of his burst and DPS him down.

VS

Gragas

Easy

Dodge his E (Bodyslam) with ur E (Playful/Trickster). he will either build damage, which you can dodge with ur E or tank so use ur W after his burst and DPS him down.

VS

Kindred

Medium

Kindred is the Queen of the Earlygame -> avoid fighting her with lvl 1-3.
After you have your ult, it is a skill matchup

VS

Master Yi

Medium

You can kill him in early game, but in late he will outdps you.
Camp his jungl, ask teammates to rotate, -> deny yi's powerspike

First Clear Back to Top

For the first clear I usually start at the redbuff side of my jungl for better early ganks (better ganks, because you have no cc out of the slow from your fizzjump.png and the redbuff slow is pretty strong early since usually no laner starts with boots).

  1. krugs -> smite
  2. raptors -> smiteless
  3. scuttle -> smiteless
  4. red -> smite

You shouldn't be out of mana at this point, so you can go for a blue invade or for a gank mid or botlane.

If you see the enemy jungler who started his red, and ganks toplane go for the blue invade, since you won't have any trouble taking it away.
