4.png Flash is the first Summoner Spell and I recommend always taking it when you're playing this champion. This is because Flash is the best Summoner Spell around. It is a really good and reliable Summoner Spell. It can be used offensively, defensively and is honestly, a really good Spell to take.

12.png Teleport is the second Summoner Spell that you should take on him. This Spell is really good because it can be used to get back to lane quicker and it can also be used to help your team. In the early game, you want to teleport back to lane after your first back. Then you should look for Teleport opportunities where you can help your team.

For Heimerdinger I recommend taking Sorcery as the main tree.

Arcane%20Comet.png?width=32  Arcane Comet is good on Heimerdinger as it can easily be activated with your abilities.

The%20Ultimate%20Hat.png?width=32 The ultimate Hat is good on him because as Heimerdinger you need your ultimate when going for trades, so having it on a lower cooldown is very helpful. It also allows you to take towers quicker.

Transcendence.png?width=32 Transcendence works well with The Ultimate Hat.

Scorch.png?width=32  Lastly I recommend Scorch because it will help you hurt the enemies and get more kills.

In the second tree I Recommend Inspiration and Perfect%20Timing.png?width=32 Perfect Timing and Cosmic%20Insight.png?width=32 Cosmic Insight.

Heimerdinger’s Passive is HEXTECH AFFINITY!

Heimerdinger gains 20% movement speed near allied turrets and his own turrets.

Heimerdinger’s Q is H-28G EVOLUTION TURRET!

Passive: Heimerdinger stores and builds turrets stacking up to a maximum of 3 stored.

Active: Heimerdinger places a turret in a target location and can place up to 3 turrets at one time.

Upgrade!!! : Heimerdinger places a bigger turret that lasts for 8 seconds.

Tips: Make sure to place your towers in efficient places and make sure that they are all working and hitting minions. You need to abuse your towers to help push the wave, farm and deal damage to the enemies. You can force your turrets to target certain champions by autoing them. Read below for turret placement.

Heimerdinger’s W is HEXTECH MICRO ROCKETS!

Heimerdinger shoots a wave of rockets in a target direction dealing damage to the first enemies hit.

Upgrade!!! : Heimerdinger launches an addition 4 waves of rockets (20 rockets in total) in a target direction.

Tips: There are a few different ways you can angle your W and you should experiment with them. I recommend trying to hit as many as possible when using it, you can either spray the rockets or keep them in a line. This is situational.

Heimerdinger’s E is CH-2 ELECTRON STORM GRENADE!

Heimerdinger throws a freeze grenade to a target location dealing damage and slowing enemies hit. If enemies are directly hit they will be stunned.

Upgrade!!! : The grenade blounces 3 times, grows in radius and explodes slows the enemies even more.

Tips: Use your E wisely because it can be hard to hit. Make sure that you do not waste it. I recommend trying to hit this and following up with both turret damage and your W rockets. I do not usually use this ability unless I am almost guaranteed to hit it.

Heimerdinger’s Ultimate is UPGRADE!!! !

Heimerdinger’s empowers his next ability for up to 3 seconds. He can reactive it to cancel the empowerment and place it on a short cooldown.

Tip: Whenever the enemy jungler comes to your lane make sure to use your ultimate. Beware of its cost, but usually it will result in huge damage caused or make them back off from your lane. His ultimate is very strong and can help deal damage to enemy towers. However make sure to focus the tower for them to do that.

Scenarios on when to use each upgrade:

Q: You have all three turrets up and are able to fight/trade. In most situations I would use empowered Q because of the additional damage. I can get the turrets to focus the enemies by autoing them too.

W: You are going for a trade. If you have traded or are going for a trade. I recommend using your W to deal extra damage- make sure to aim it correctly.

E: You are escaping. Only use this when you’re running away, or are engaging a team fight.

    Third Item - Ability power, armor and unique active.
    Fourth Item - Ability Power and health. Passive slows enemies if hit by abilities.
    Fifth Item - Ability power and magic penetration.
    Sixth Item - Ability power and increased ratio percent Ability power.

Situational Items

    Example Full build

First item should be Morello’s. This item is good as it gives your cooldown reduction, AP and mana regeneration. This item is really good for Heimerdinger as it provides us with everything we need. Your second item should be boots, I prefer to get sorcerer’s shoes because they give us magic penetration. The third item should be zhonyas. You can use this item when trading or when you’re in fights. I like having 3 towers placed down and then using the active. It will deal lots of damage to the enemies as well because of the AP. Your next item will be Rylai’s Crystal Scepter. This item provides Heimerdinger with AP and health. Heimer can be quiet squishy- so that added health is good. Also, the item slows enemies who are hit by us, which includes our towers. This means they will be slowed if targeted. Your next items will be void staff followed by deathcap. This items are good because they increase your AP power.

I would recommend pushing him in and staying around Tower range, this means you will not be able to farm at all without taking aggro from you. Beware of his ultimate and do not fight him for too long because he will hurt as you are squishy. Try to harass him as much as possible so he's passive does not come up and dodge is ultimate because you will die if he hits it.

You should have used your Range and attack him whenever he comes to last hit. I would recommend pushing him in and staying around Tower range, this means you will not be able to farm at all without taking aggro from you. Beware of his ultimate and do not fight him for too long because he will hurt as you are squishy. Beware of Maokai's saplings and do not stand too close to the bushes. Make sure to have the river worded because you'll be pushing.

Beware of this matchup as their damage output is incredibly high if you trade with them for too long. This is a hard matchup because pantheon is one of the best poke champion’s early game. In this matchup you will have to play smartly and poke him whenever possible, place your towers and poke him when he comes to farm.

At level 6, ping that he has his ultimate, Beware of his taunt and stop his ultimate when possible.

You should have used your Range and attack him whenever he comes to last hit. I would recommend pushing him in and staying around Tower range, this means you will not be able to farm at all without taking aggro from you. Beware of his abilities and try to dodge them as much as possible. Focus on denying him as much as possible and poking him. Do not get to aggressive because he does deal a lot of damage and his passive will sustain him for long in game.

Poke him whenever he comes to CS. Use your range advantage and turrets to poke him whenever possible. Beware of his clone and make sure you focus on farming and putting him behind. Watch out, because he scales well and his early damage is strong. Put him behind so he cannot scale for the mid game.

Yasuo

Use your range advantage to poke them whenever they come to CS. Beware of the damage output and back off they go aggressive. Let your turrets to do the work when trading. Do not go for extended trades as they will come up ahead. Just keep autoing them and force them off the minions. Beware of his E as he can easily escape from your turrets and your E and W. Beware of your positioning.

Tips and Tricks

1 ) When you’re under the enemy tower use your turrets to help deal damage to the towers.

2 ) If you have a cannon wave approaching the enemy tower, place your turrets down when the cannon is there. Your turrets will not be focused so you can deal extra damage.

3 ) You can choose who your turrets focus by autoing the enemy, the turrets will focus them if they are in range.

4 ) Your Q grants vision in bushes.

5 ) Your E grants vision in bushes

6 ) If an enemy is ganking your lane. Run in between your turrets and place your upgraded Q. Remember to auto attack them so they get focused by your turrets.

7 ) Your Upgraded Q doesn’t use a stack.

8 ) A good combo for Heimerdinger is E then W.

In the early levels  you want to have your turrets place like this ready for level 1:

This allows you to push the lane and put your enemy behind. if they are a melee champion then they miss out on the majority of early CS by placing your turrets like this. When the wave has pushed, you start to move your towers upwards, the back one should be removed and placed much future forward. 

TIP: Your first turret will be the one to disappear first - always place your first turret behind the 2nd and 3rd.

You copy this for each position throughout the laning phase.

If you have pushed the enemy under tower you want to place your turrets like this :

Make sure they are out of range of the tower. Place them like this so if the enemy goes to last hit they will be targeted. Also, auto them whenever possible to get your turrets to focus them. The enemy will fall behind in CS if you place your turrets like this. Remember to ward because you will be pushed up quiet far.
