Summoner Spells Back to Top

There are basically 2 options here:

Combo 1:11.png4.png

The instant culling of jungle camps with your passive and smite allows for quick clearing of the jungle, or at least in early game, getting that red or blue before swiftly moving on to the lesser camps. If you can rush mobility boots/boots of swiftness, and with enough vision, you can easily roam the enemy jungle and once smite is up, repeat the process of quickly culling the enemy red/blue.

Combo 2: 11.png12.png

If you decide to take teleport instead of flash, be sure to rush mobility boots / boots of swiftness.  Warding the enemy jungle early game, or getting top/bot to do it for you, can ensure that you quickly teleport in to the enemy jungle and steal those red/blue buffs before returning safely to your own jungle.

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

In this scenario, you're going to want to max out masteries that increase health regen to complement your regen runes, the reason being, you're going to need as much health as possible for your passive in order to clear the biggest number of camps possible before having to return to base.

Mana regen is also important, as are cookies (an extra bit of instant health & mana).

Cdr is equally as important as you're going to want to max your ivernQ.png as it's your primary engage ability when ganking lanes.

What's more, the extra movement speed in brush/river will complement your boots in order to quickly roam the jungle and gank lanes.

Your Q is your main engage/latch/escape. It's narrow and quite slow, but if used correctly, can make a gank a successful one - furthermore, allies can click the rooted enemy to quickly dash to them. It's also useful to latch on to camps over walls to quickly use your passive on them, and the same goes for when you want a speedy escape from an enemy - either root them and use your boots to your advantage, or Q a camp to dash over a wall. I always like to get as much Cdr as possible and max out Q as quickly as I can.

Unless you have a rengar on your team or champions that depend on stealth, I max this ability last. The extra magic damage and range is nice, but you can already use the bushes present on the map to your advantage. Plus, they can disappear rather quickly if you're not paying attention, so placing one to gank immediately is a giveaway, even if after a few seconds you are untargetable and escape from enemy vision.

The next ability I always like to max after Q is Ivern's shield, a great tool for running from enemies and also for ganks, placing the shield on the ganked ally if they are close enough to the enemy allowing the slow to pop off.

Daisy is useful in team fights to distract the enemy team & the knockup is nice, albeit hard to do as Daisy tends to be sligtly sluggish (this is where your Q comes in handy). I use her mainly for pushing towers or drawing turret fire for dives & ganks.

Situational Items

Your main item build should be AP/Tank. Although Q has a great AP ratio, you're there to engage, shield, and help out your team mates rather than being a high-damage jungler.

Your build should look something like this:
