The majority of the Masteries will stay the same. the only thing that could vary is Verteran's Scars/ Runic Armor.


Most of the time i reccomend taking Veteran's Scars over Runic armor just because it gives you a little more survivebility during the laning phase.

But if your a really passive Janna player, or you have a passive matchup (in which u should use the gp10 runepage) than you could also choose for the runic armor mastery, because it scales better into lategame.

jannapassive.png Stay close to your ally's as they will benefit greayly from this movespeed.


howlinggale.png Can be used to cancel a lot of skillshots. The longer you charge this the longer the enemies will be knocked up. try not to use this too often in the laning phase, as it consumes a lot of mana. on top of that, you need it if the enemy ganks, or when your jungler ganks for you.
Dont be affraid to 4.png into a instand q q combo of howlinggale.png to provide some nice cc for the gank.
This can be maxed second aswell when they have a lot of gap closers which you can cansel, like 64.png126.png121.png154.png (you get the point)


sowthewind.pngPassively inceases your movespeed, on top of that it ignores unit collision when this ability is off cd. which means than you can walk through units (like minions). we max this second mainly because of the passive movespeed. if you ever get chased by more than 1 guy (unless the rest are super far behind that one guy) your best bet is probobly to not use this item too slow one guy, but to use the movespeed to run away. the passive movespeed will only be available too you when this ability is off cd aswell.


eyeofthestorm.pngThis is what makes Janna, Janna. try to increase your reaction time so negate as much damage as quick as possible. Other uses of this ability are:
use pre-emptively too give confidence to your adc that leads to trading (use this if they don't trade themselves)
pushing power, as it gives your adc some extra ad. when you max this ability (level 9) the ad bonus of your eyeofthestorm.png if the same as an extra 1038.png to your adc.


reapthewhirlwind.png your ultimate knocks back enemies while simultaniously heals allies.
Use this ability to interupt gap closers
heal in teamfight (during or before a fight), before the fight if your team is not confident because of their health)
be anoying.
Make flashy plays with this. (not always reccomended)

Starting Items

    Always buy these!!! (keep one reserve in your itemslot)

Core Items

    use this in general. Sightstone ->boots -> eye -> ionian -> redemption -> Locket
    take this if you think you can survive the whole game whitout dieng (too much), If you have a lot of stacks, that can make you a target, which is kinda good because usually that results in you winning the teamfight because the adc is still alive.
    Use this path with any ally adc who builds Hurricane. Sightstone, boots, eye, ionian, censer, redemption, locket

Situational Items

    Read discription for more detail.
ZZ: Only buy this item early game if you feel like your could use the pressure.

Mikaels: if they are very cc heavy and you have an important carry, try to get this after ur first big item.

Rabadons: Only buy this item very lategame if you can abselutely afford to buy it (it will boost your heals and shields)

Elixer: You could use Elixer of Sorcery and Elixer of Iron, both are good for different senario's. Use Sorcery when your winning, and Iron when your losing

Omen: buy this when you need the extra tankiness and you need the active against champions that aren't verry mobile but stick to your carries.

Frozen Hearth: Buy this whenever you need the extra armor and they have a lot of auto attack relient champions
