Summoner Spells Back to Top

Main Summoner Spells

12.png - TLDR; Teleport for early game survival and global pressure [Core]
  • If you die early, you can use teleport to avoid losing CS (exp&gold). Later in the game, Teleport is great for skirmishes, teleport ganks, and split-pushing. [I personally prefer teleport]

14.png - TLDR; Ignite for getting kills and countering self-regeneration match-ups [Preference]
  • Enhanced dueling power and counters self-regeneration champs like Mundo, Swain, or Aatrox. This spell is a double-edged sword: you gain increased kill potential in exchange for map pressure (Teleport). If you are not confident in your map awareness skills and can't establish global presence with teleport then you can grab ignite.

4.png - TLDR; Flash for all matchups [Core]

  • Flash is the all-around go to spell. Some combos that I will use with Jax is Flash+Q+(W) for quick kill situations. Flash+E (AOE Stun) is great for instantaneous stun and can surprise the enemy. Q to a ward or enemy then Flash+E (AOE Stun) works as well if you need an extra reach. The versatility of flash is limitless. [I personally prefer Flash over Ghost]

Masteries Back to Top

Fervor of Battle [Core]

This keystone has excellent synergy with Jax's passive (relentless assault). It is very strong for dueling melee champions and greatly increases Jax's DPS(Damage per second). For most match-ups, this will be Jax's keystone of choice.

Some individual masteries are simply better than its alternative option but debatable masteries are noted below:

  • [Ferocity] Fresh Blood vs Feast: I take Feast for survival match-ups or Fresh Blood for kill match-ups.
  • [Ferocity] Vampirism vs Natural Talent: I take Vampirism for survival match-ups or Natural Talent for kill match-ups.

12 Points:

As for the 12 points, you can put them in Cunning or Resolve; it's by preference. Personally, I take 12 in Cunning for kill match-ups or 12 in Resolve for survival match-ups.

  • [Cunning] Wanderer vs Savagery: I personally prefer Savagery for ease of farming.
  • [Cunning] Secret Stash vs Assassin: I take Secret Stash for survival match-ups or Assassin for kill match-ups.
  • [Resolve] Recovery vs Unyielding: I personally prefer Recovery for early game survivability.

______________________________________________________________________________

Grasp of the Undying [Experimental]

Grasp of the Undying is an alternative that i'm experimenting with. It synergizes well with Titantic Hydra, Sterak's Gage, and the tank items.

Slippery ranged match-ups that can kite Jax will make it difficult to land consistent auto attacks, therefore, the effectiveness of the Fervor of Battle keystone is reduced; using Grasp of the Undying, which only needs one attack, will be easier to proc.

Additionally, many of the ranged match-ups will be survival-type lanes and the masteries in the Resolve tree will help greatly.

Quick guide: How to spend points

Here is the general rule of thumb on what to max for Jax:
  • Q for ranged
  • W for melee
As for the second skill to max, I max Q for slippery match-ups or E for melee match-ups.

List of Mechanics

jaxpassive.png Passive - Relentless Assault

  • No special mechanics other than increased attack speed
  • Stacks on towers, teleport-victim minions

jaxleapstrike.png Q - Leap Strike

  • 3.6s CD at 40% CDR
  • Can be used to cancel an auto attack
  • Can be combined with W - Empower for a quick, single target burst damage combo (Q+W)
  • Registers as a dash even though Jax leaps in the animation
  • Because Jax's Q is a dash, he cannot leap over Caitlyn's traps, Veigar's cage, Thresh's Wall, Jarvan's Ult, Anivia's Wall, Trundle Pillar, Jinx Traps, and Taliyah Wall
  • Can be interrupted
  • Non-champion Q interaction: minions, jungle camps, dragon, baron (will slowly push Jax off for 1-2s), rift herald, enemy blue trinket, and wards

jaxempowertwo.png W - Empower

  • 1.8s CD at 40% CDR
  • Can be used to cancel an auto attack
  • Can be combined with Ultimate passive and Q for a mega burst combo (Q+E+R)

jaxcounterstrike.png E - Counter Strike

  • 1.8s CD at 40% CDR
  • Jax can use abilities during the duration of his E
  • Reduces AOE damage by 25%
  • Lasts for 2 seconds but can be activated after 1 second to perform the AOE stun
  • Blocks all auto attacks; even if they are empowered
  • Can be used to get early level 2 by damaging entire creep wave
  • Can be used to proxy a wave

jaxrelentlessassault.pngR - Grandmaster's Might

  • 48s CD at 40% CDR
  • Includes a passive that empowers auto attacks as magic damage
  • Relatively low cooldown
  • More AD/AP = More Armor/Magic resist

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    [Survival Match-ups]
    [Kill Match-ups] A combination of:
Buy 1-2 Early/Mid Game for early game strength.
    Farm Match-ups
    Experimental [Hard matchups]

Core Items

[Offensive Core] Trinity + (Gunblade, BoTRK, or Hydra)
    [Magic Resist Core] Spirit Visage
[Armor Core] Randuin's Omen or Dead Man's Plate.
[Boots] Ninja Tabi for AD team. Mercury Treads for MR/CC team.

Situational Items

[Hybrid] For Increased survivability and damage.
[Hybrid] For peeling or sticking to a target.
[Defensive] For teams with 3+ Auto attacked based champs.
[Hybrid] Good for AP burst teams 3+ AP Champs
    Example Full Build [BOTRK JAX]
    Current build [Sterak Jax]
[Experimental] Doesn't give MR anymore but AD instead.

Introduction: Build Order

The ideal ratio for Jax is 2 offensive items, 2 defensive items, boots, and a situational item. Here is an example of Jax's ideal purchase order:
  1. Trinity Force
  2. Boots
  3. Gunblade/BoTRK/Titanic Hydra
  4. Defensive Item
  5. Defensive Item
  6. Situational Item
The last item is situational and somewhat preference. You can get Sterak's Gage for a bit more damage and health or a Thornmail to counter a heavy AD team. I usually like to get Sterak's Gage since it goes well with Trinity Force and Titanic Hydra.

______________________________________________________________________________

Boots Core:

3111.png/3047.png:

  • Jax will benefit from Mercury Treads more than Ninja Tabi because of the Tenacity bonus. Jax usually gets more armor from his ultimate due to building an offensive item first so the MR from Mercury Treads balances his AP and AD resistances. Ninja Tabi is good against a team with a lot of auto attack based champions, usually 2 or more.

______________________________________________________________________________

Offensive Core:

3078.png

  • Trinity Force is a core item on Jax and gives him a huge power spike. For order of component purchases, Phage is usually first for it's passive (+20MS per auto). The second component is situational: Stinger for melee match-ups or Sheen for slippery match-ups or for cases where you need to make a quick trade and leave.

3146.png/3153.png/3748.png:

  • Recently, I've been building Titanic Hydra. BoTRK is effective against two or more tanks and Gunblade is great for mixed damage and bursting squishies. Pick whichever one fits your playstyle.

______________________________________________________________________________

Defensive Core:

3143.png/3742.png:

  • Randuin is a very strong item: it provides an AOE slow, reduced damage from crits, reduces the speed of auto attacks, and has better base stats than DMP (Same health and +10 Armour); It is far better than DMP. DMP is by preference if you'd like the speed for roaming or escaping while split-pushing.

3065.png

  • After recent patch changes, I think Spirit Visage is the best MR item for Jax. The health and magic resist are quite good and the 10% cooldown is very helpful for Jax. Additionally, it synergizes well with Titanic Hydra.

Aatrox

Easy
Kill Lane
Ability Order [W > E > Q]
Starting Item(s): Doran Blade > Trinity Force pieces > Gunblade > Randuin > etc.
Trading:
  • Dodge his skill shot
  • Walk up and play aggressively. Time your E to his first auto attack. Make sure to auto+W cancel. Then Q away after landing an auto after the stun.
  • Don't duel him when he has 3-4 stacks. He's strongest when he has all 5 stacks (like Rengar + Tryn)

VS

Ahri

Hard
[Out of Lane]
  • She is difficult to kill with her ultimate (gives her 3 dashes).
  • It is best to go after her when her ult is down
  • Can also jump on her with E to bait her ult then just run away.
  • Dodge her Q and her E. She usually throws them out together.
  • Her Q gives her movement speed.

VS

Akali

Medium
[Kill Lane]
[W>Q>E]
[Doran's Shield > 2x Doran's Blade > Trinity Force]
Trading:
  • She is weak early. Play aggressive early.
  • Her shroud makes it difficult to trade. Try not to make trades inside of it.
  • Time Jax's E so that it counters the empowered auto from her passive.
  • After 6, she is hard to kill because of her dashes. Do not fight her after 6 if you are behind.

VS

Alistar

Medium

[Out of lane]

  • Very tanky but does relatively low damage.
  • Do not focus this champion.
  • Jax's E counters Alistar's new E, which is a stun based off an auto attack. Time it accordingly.

VS

Amumu

Easy
[Out of lane]
  • Very tanky and inflicts some damage
  • Do not focus this champion
  • Dodge his Q skill shot

VS

Annie

Hard

[Out of lane]

  • It is difficult to kill her because of her easy burst combo
  • Use Jax's ultimate before you jump on her to reduce the damage taken
  • Jax can heal off of Tibbers

VS

Ashe

Easy
[Out of lane]
  • Dodge her ultimate(stun arrow) if possible.
  • Wait for her to activate her Q(faster auto attacks) then use your E to counter those auto attacks.
  • Her W(volley) is a wide area skill shot of arrows that is difficult to dodge.
  • She has no mobility ability other than flash

VS

Aurelion Sol

VS

Azir

Medium

-ur E wont stop the auto from his minions

-he can easily peel you off at lvl 6/disengage
-he can slide back as well
-take advantage of his weak early
-all in or nothin
-time his CDs

VS

Bard

Medium

VS

Blitzcrank

Easy

-i think ur E counters his E knockup

-

VS

Brand

Medium

VS

Braum

Easy

-can use E to delay the 4 auto attack stun

-dodge his Q and ult

VS

Caitlyn

Easy

-she only has her E to peel

-you will get stuck if you leap over a trap

VS

Camille

Easy
  • Kill Lane
  • Her Q is an empowered auto that you can block with E
  • her W doesnt do that much dmg but it slows you for quite a bit. its a bit hard to dodge but it isnt something that you need to Q away for.
  • her E is realy good and gives her a lot of mobility. If she tries to run away, try to stun her before she jumps away with E.
  • Her R forces her to duel you. Jax is a pretty good duelist and should be able to beat her on even terms.
  • She does get a type of shield from her passive or something but your W does magic damage and I think it procs her physical damage shield first.

VS

Cassiopeia

Medium

-no info available yet

VS

Cho'Gath

Medium

-farm lane basically

-he heals up any trades you try to make
-dodge his Q and W
-im thinking of using cull vs farm lanes
-run warlords bloodlust or fervor
-you can probably start killing him with guinsoo
-

VS

Corki

Medium

-spell caster so your E isn't as optimal

-does a lot of magic damage
-has one escape

VS

Darius

Hard

-your E counters his W

-usually builds black cleaver
-has a lot of mobility, especiallt with DMP
-stand in the center of his Q to reduce healing and damage
-his Q is aoe so ur E reduce dmg of his Q
-stack ur passive before fighting to win duels
-you can counter his W after he uses pull because his EW combo will execute faster
-watch out for his passive
-if he swings with Q to heal on u, it may be better to run to him and reduce the healing then engage hard on him
-

VS

Diana

Medium

-i think you can counter her empowered auto from her passive to reduce damage

-dodge her Qs

VS

Dr. Mundo

Medium

-ur E counters his E

-ignite works well against him
-hard to kill after 6
-take advantage of his weak early game
-make the best trade when your E is up
-

VS

Draven

Easy

-he can disengage with his E and run away from your E with his W

-dodge his E if you decide to engage
-

VS

Ekko

Medium

-he can dash out ur E with his E

-very slippery
-dodge his Qs
-don't fight him in his W as it'll give him a shield and stun you
-be aware of his ult as it can do a lot of damage
-i think ur E counters the 2nd part of his E

VS

Elise

Medium

-you can jump to her spiderlings

-has a high burst combo with her double forms
-can be slippery with minions with her rappel
-havnet went against this yet

VS

Evelynn

Medium

-i think your E counters her E (might resgister as a double auto)

-havent went against this yet
-

VS

Ezreal

Hard

-can peel away with his E

-icegauntlet Qs will peel you more
-falls off late game
-

VS

Fiddlesticks

Easy

-squishy and weak early

-can stop his drain with ur E

VS

Fiora

Medium

-used to completely counter her but now she can wreck you

-position urself and protect your vitals
-dodge her Qs (lunges) if you can because if she lands them then it reduces the cd
-when she activates her E (sparkling sword), try to use ur E to counter it. I think it will stop both the slow and crit
-its best to save E and let her engage on you, but if you do decide to engage on her with ur E, switch the timing of the stun so it makes it harder for her to riposte it
-when she lunges for trades, you can W her and trade back. its hard to catch her after lunges
-Do your best when she activates her ult and dodge vitals. If you can, don't fight her in the healing platform when it gets activated
-if she riposte ur E, don't trade her further as it will reduce your MS and AS by 50% and punish you hard
-laning will be tough but if you can go even and make it to mid/late game, you should be able to duel her
-get ninja tabi or warden mail if you're having trouble. Randuins as a second item

VS

Fizz

Medium

-weak early game

-his empowered W autos do a lot of damage, use E to counter it
-will use troll pole to dodge ur E stun
-save Q after he uses troll pole
-is weak after QWE cooldowns
-dodge his ult if u can
-has high initial burst
-top fizz usually goes tanky

VS

Galio

Medium

-if he ults you, you will auto attack him and build up AS stacks (kekeke)

VS

Gangplank

Medium

-can be slippery and cleanse ur E stun with his florida natural oranges

-dont fight him in his kegs as they do a lot of dmg
-i think you can hop to his kegs, need to confirm
-

VS

Garen

Medium

-ur E blocks his Q

-his E will do less damage if you activate ur E
-cheese and trade him level 1 and 2
-you can win trades if you time his Q right and counter it with ur E

VS

Gnar

Hard

-level 2 advantage and cheese him

-can be slippery with his jump
-his hop has a long cdr so memorize it and make trades accordingly when it is down
-baiting the hop is key to winning
-if you want to fight him in gnar form, do your best to dodge his rectangle stun and boulder

Survival Lane
-E blocks his turret autos
-call for jungler help and try to kill him before 6 as his big turret will deal a lot of damage
-you can stun turrets
-cant kill him if he has his ult, try to bait it and then go in
-with the new zzrot portal, his anti-engage and pushing power is insane
-dodge his W and E if you can
-build trinity force as he can be pretty slippery
-go in with the QWR burst and stun, then disengage
-good heimer will start at a camp and get quick level 2 so try to go and kill his turrets to mess it up

VS

Illaoi

Medium

-dont fight her when she ults as it does a lot of damage

-dodge her E and Q
-ur E counters her W
-

VS

Irelia

Medium

-use ur E when she activates her W

-she's weaker early and is very strong mid game
-try to E when she uses E so she cant trade you during the stun durations
-many irelias will use Q to farm so you can predict her movement and make trades accordingly
-mostly a skill matchup

Kill/Survival Lane
-you can cheese and get a good trade level 1 if she starts Q
-take advantage of level 1. Rivens mostly start Q level one and your E does 25% reduced aoe dmg and blocks her autos. You can cheese her lvl 1 and possibly get a kill.
-watch her cds and engage if she uses WQ or W. They have long cooldowns early game.
-she's really strong early so watch out for her lvl 2-3 power spike
-the good rivens will try to auto+Q+W or add +auto+Q to trade you. You have to respect that combo since there is little counter play to it. If you try to jump on her, she will E away.

Matchups (Reference) Back to Top

Introduction: Match-ups

Each match-up is unique for Jax. Over the years of my experience, I've attempted to categorize each match-up in simple types. Additionally, the match-up can change in difficulty over the course of the game. Assuming that you're starting out fresh (and your teammates don't feed), here are the match-up types:
  1. Kill: These champions are usually melee fighters. There is potential to kill them.
  2. Farm: These champions are usually tanks. They are hard to kill and are slippery.
  3. Survival: These champions are usually ranged or AP. They are hard to kill, are slippery, and/or have good disengage.

Match-ups Format

  • Lane Type [Kill, Survival, Farm]
  • Ability Max Order [Q,W,E,R]
  • Early game build order [Doran>Doran>Boots>etc]
  • How to make trades and Ability/Mechanic Interaction [Description...]
  • Scaling characteristics [Weak Early, Good Mid, Strong late]

Game Phases - Brief Overview & Strategies Back to Top

Early Game: Lane Phase

General:
In general, Jax's early game is decent. He can be quite strong against certain matchups yet in other cases he is unable to do much. For example, at level one Jax is strong against Xin Zhao but is near useless against Quinn. The teleport summoner spell is excellent for accommodating Jax's weaknesses in the lane phase.

Against certain matchups, Jax can use his E to win trades and snowball the lane.

Since the early game is mostly lane phase, refer to the champion matchups section for information regarding playstyle.

Mid Game: Teleport, Split Pushing, Rift Herald

Teleport & Split Pushing:
In the mid game, Jax is quite strong and excels in skirmishes. During this time, Jax can attain a split pushing role; his Q makes for a good escape, his E can be used to stun, and his ultimate makes him tanky.

After the lane phase, it is recommended to save teleport for skirmishes or dragon fights.

Rift Herald:
The 7.10 patch Rift Herald is very easy to solo. I haven't tested the minimum items required to solo but it is quite easy to solo it without taking any damage as Jax. The strategy that I use is to simply rotate around the Rift Herald; it is easy to dodge the full swing attack and hit the eye in its back. If needed, Jax can jump on the Rift Herald and better position himself to hit the eye in its back.

Late Game: Teleport, Split Pushing, Team Fights

Teleport & Split Pushing[Baron & Elder Dragon]:
Around this time, Jax still excels at split pushing; his Q and E cooldowns are significantly lowered (40% CDR with Trinity Force, Spirit Visage, + ETC) and he is quite tanky.

When split pushing, split push towards the opposite direction of an objective. For example, if Baron is currently the contested objective, split push at the bottom of the map; apply the same concept to Elder Dragon.

Make sure you purchase wards for vision and keep account of the visible enemy opponents.

Coordinate your split push with your team so that two segments of the map are being pressured simultaneously (Example: Baron pressure + bottom tower pressure).

It is advised to split push with teleport.

Team Fights:
In the late game, Jax is very strong and can play the anti-AD role in team fights, hence a bruiser. Jax's E allows him to counter auto-attacks and Jax's Q lets him stick to the AD.

Ideally, Jax would have a Randuin's Omen (excellent item for auto attack resistance + an AOE slow) and above 30% CDR; this allows for a low cooldown Q and E. Trinity Force will allow Jax more stick potential and burst damage. Blade of the Ruined King or Gunblade allows for a movement speed boost or slow, respectively.

General Skills & Techniques Back to Top

Rift Herald Solo Requirements

  • Just run around it. It is very easy to kill solo after 7.10 patch.

Ward Spots

  • If you're starting from the bottom left corner, then you'd want to ward at the river or tri bush during the lane phase. When you're split pushing top, you'd want to ward either bush adjacent to the red buff opening. If you can, place a red ward in the solo bush in the middle of the river and another ward at the corner of the red buff.
  • If you're starting from the top right corner, then you'd want to ward at the river. Place a red ward at the tri bush to stop junglers from circling around. When you're split-pushing top, you'd want to ward at the four way intersection near blue buff. If you can, move or place your control ward in the solo bush in the middle of the river and a ward in the bush near the explosive plant.
Wave Control
  • Wave Control: Fast Push, Slow Push, Freeze (+4 minions)
  • Jax doesn't have good wave clear so most of the time I'm freezing my lane to deny experience.
  • However, in the early game, you can play aggressive and slow push the first two waves. This should crash the wave into the opponent and start a slow push into my lane. This naturally happens for most melee matchups since I play aggressive early and the counter strike slow pushes the lane.
  • If I get lane dominance, then I freeze the lane and deny cs. Try not to get tempted and make trades with the opponent and make sure you dodge any skill shot abilities so you don't get whittled down.
  • If your lane opponent is roaming, then push in the wave and try for first blood tower (600g)
  • It's best to fast push the lane after you kill the opponent but in the case that the wave is too big, then you can trim it (kill the melees first) and recall to base. Then you can manage the lane and result in a freeze.
  • If the opponent is freezing the lane, try to shove it in and avoid taking damage.

Playing From Behind

  • In my opinion, Jax takes a long time to scale and become the beast he's known for.
  • I'm testing the cull item right now but I think it's a good item to buy when behind or in farm lanes.
  • I'd say, Jax gets a medium power spike on every complete item he buys so there's a trinity force power spike, defensive item power spike, etc.
  • Focus on csing and shoving the lane when the enemy isn't there. Then run around with a lot of wards and take enemy jungle camps. Make teleport plays bot if you can.
Teamfighting
  • Jax is okay at team fighting. He doesn't bring much CC to the table; his E is an AOE stun that has a lot of potentials. I usually get 1-2 stuns with my E during team fights and rarely more so.
  • Jax is technically a fighter/bruiser. If you're behind or about even, then you should try protecting your carries and bruising the tanks.
  • If you're ahead and building an item like Gunblade, then Jax has a huge amount of burst damage. Typically you might be batting on the tanks but when the carries get close, you can jump and burst them.
  • If you have an ally back line threat, coordinate your diving targets with them. Usually, you'd want to fight the AD because your E counters them. This can prove difficult as they might have a good peeling support to exhaust and peel you off them. I recommend getting a Randuin's omen before team fighting.

About me Back to Top

ELO/Rank History

I've been playing since Season 2 (If I recall correctly, Jayce was on the log-in screen) but didn't begin ranking in season 3.

In season 3, I played my 10 placements matches and placed into bronze 2. From there on, I quickly climbed to Silver 5, periodically quit, and then returned climbing. Around the end of the season 3, I climbed from Silver 5 to Silver 1 and unfortunately didn't make Gold (As that was my goal).

Season 4 began and I placed into Gold 4. From there on, I climbed quickly to Gold 1 by playing Vayne ADC. However, I got stuck in Gold for a long time and bounced between Gold 1 and 3. At the end of the season, I was able to climb to Platinum 5 with Jax.

Season 5 began and I placed into Gold 3 and eventually made it to Platinum 5 again. With my new identity as a Jax main and many games to go along with it, I gradually climbed to Platinum 1 and ended the season there. The Platinum climb was definitely one of the hardest and most stressful ladder but taught me the most as a player and a person.

Season 6 began and I placed into Gold 2 or so. From there on, I climbed from Gold 2 to Platinum 1 in no time. This time, I kept bouncing between Platinum 1 and 2. My goal was to reach Diamond, a dream that I didn't think I could achieve. All this time, I was playing on a crappy laptop that ran LoL at the lowest settings with 60-80 FPS with major lag spikes at crucial moments (especially team fights). I went to a PC Cafe and at April 2nd, 2016, I finally achieved Diamond 5.

Note: Unfortunately, the photo is cut off.
OMG FINALLY MADE IT TO DIAMOND.png

Purpose of the guide

I created this guide as a notebook to compile all of my research and knowledge. It is also in commemoration of getting into Diamond 5 (Woo!). My one trick pony is Jax and I couldn't find enough resources online to satisfy my desires. I've decided to share this notebook to the public in the form of a guide so enjoy!

Updates (Last updated 5/19/2017) Back to Top

10/6/2016  - I didn't think my guide would get featured and get so popular. I haven't been playing for a while due to school but I am finally in a sweet spot where I can spend more time on this guide and finally complete it (at last, lol). I appreciate the comments, views, and featured status and will continue to update the guide as the current season progresses. I plan on making a Youtube channel and feature replays (and maybe even some text over video commentary, not where I speak). If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback then feel free to comment below. I'll try my best to answer them all. I hope you guys enjoy the completion of the guide and become better Jax players!

3/16/2017 - Hey all, I've been busy with college and haven't been able to work on the guide for a few months. It's my final year before transferring and I'm taking a lot on my plate. I don't play LoL as much as I did in the past but I do plan on having a more complete guide by the summer season. Jax hasn't changed much in Season 7 other than his visual animations (It's not that noticeable to me other than W and E). BotRK seems like it was buffed and I think it's a better alternative to Hextech Gunblade now (I've always preferred BotRK but always felt it was inferior the day Hextech Gun blade was changed). I'll try updating my guides on a regular basis; perhaps on every new patch release. Most of all, thanks for 100,000 views! In commemoration of this, I plan to create a youtube channel dedicated to analyzing Jax gameplay. Once again, thanks for reading my guide/notebook.

4/4/2017 - Dear readers, I've finished all the sections except for the champion matchups; I believe this guide can best be utilized by reading the champion matchups section. Jax is a simple champion and isn't that difficult to mess up but the matchups can be quite complex. The rest of my work will be beautification and minor tweaks to the different areas of this notebook(Perhaps more pictures rather than text). The youtube channel will take a while to complete since my expectation of it is to have high-quality replays that can be used as a valuable resource. As always, thanks for viewing this guide.

5/19/2017 - Most of the guide has been updated to fit the 7.10 patch. Personal comment: the new Jax auto attack animations are difficult to get used too; it is supposed to be improved over the previous auto attacks. So far, I've found using Tiamat easier to proc right after canceling an auto attack. I've changed my playstyle and have been adopting Titanic Hydra; the wave clear feels great and the burst damage is pretty good. Jax builds a lot of hp items so the damage scales pretty well too. In other news, I've been busy with school so I don't have much time to update the guide as frequently. I will probably be free in a month or so when my current semester ends. 23 units is killing my soul :(
