Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png is very essential on 202.png because he is very unreliant when it comes to mobility. So taking flash on him allows you to have an escape to make those clutch plays by flashing in with the 4 shot.

6.png is also another great summoner spell on202.png because it fortifies your kiting ability better than flash does. Combine ghost with your bonus move speed from crits and you become a very powerful kiter.

11.png is obviously for your jungle clears and baron/dragon control.

Masteries Back to Top

Deathfire Touch is probably the best Keystone for Jhin because it just synergises really effectively with his kit. The reason I run Oppressor on 202.png is because if an enemy walks onto one of your traps and then you root them, they will take an extra 2.5% damage due to Oppressor (this works for all enemy champions, minions, and neutral jungle monsters). Even if an enemy just stood on the trap they would still take the extra damage because your trap also slows. In addition every shot from yourjhinR.png slows too, therefore also procing Oppressor. You also do additional damage when your allies use their CC on the enemy too. But if you want you can run bounty hunter if you feel that you can get a lot of kills. Bounty is actually really easy to get on 202.png due to you being the jungler, you can go around and gank all the different lanes to get your Bounty Hunter to max damage.

Starting with your jhinE.png is a must because you can lay multiple down before the jungle monsters spawn, you don't need to worry about when to start putting them down because every trap lasts up to 2 minutes. This is a very similar strategy to 35.png's jungle clear at level 1 by just stacking boxes, (or in this case traps), so when the jungle monsters spawn they take a lot of damage. Because 202.png's traps don't cost all that much mana, you can afford to start at the Red Buff, although I would not recommend starting at the Ancient Krugs because it's hard to proc the stun buff you get from smiting it due to Jhin's jhinpassive.png reload function. The reason I max W 2nd is because not only does it decrease the cooldown, but it also increases the root duration which is why I think it is better maxing it 2nd compared to yourjhinE.png. But on the flip side if you are counter jungling or getting counter jungled, having some extra traps around there jungle or yours may prove to be invaluable. This (along with your jhinQ.png), are your only sources of AP on  202.pngand therefore you may feel the need to max this if you have really good placements of your traps that are able cut off enemys from objects or ganking routes, plus they also provide a small amount of vision.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

A very basic start for most junglers, you can take the Refillable potion, although I wouldn't recommend it.

Core Items

Luden's Echo is very easily procable on Jhin so you obviously want to get Runic Echoes first, followed by your boots then straight into Lich Bane. Combine the Sheen's passive with your 4th shot and it does a ton of damage. After that you will want to grab your Morellonomicon. It's very useful for preventing efficient healing when using your ultimate. As soon as you finish your Morellonomicon, you want to get the Hextech Protobelt-01. The reason I think this is such a fantastic item for Jhin is because he falls short when it comes to mobility, and this item fixes that issue. Last item you want to grab is Rabadon's Deathcap, I build this last for the simple reason that it only gives AP, when you could be building a more versatile item than one that just gives you flat AP at the start of the game, but when you do finally buy it, it gives you a nice amount of AP when you do due to all your other items being AP centered.

Situational Items

This item is surprisingly great on Jhin, along with the AP it gives, it also makes his AA's hurt even more thanks to the Attack Speed and on hit Magic Damage it provides.
If you think you can make it to late game than grab this item. It has really good sustain for Jhin considering he has none built in and with this build you have to play him like a caster so he needs a lot of mana, plus some health so you don't blow up in teamfights.
Swap out Sorcerer's Shoes for these if you feel like you need a bit more movement speed or if the enemy isn't building Magic Resistance.

Why this build works Back to Top

1. 202.png is a very good ganker, simply have your ally hit the enemy, then use your jhinW.png to root them while laying a jhinE.png just ahead of where they're going to walk. Continue to use your jhinQ.png (bounce of low health minions if you can for extra damage), and if they manage to escape, use your jhinR.png to finish them off.

2. This is an off-meta build and playstyle so no one really knows how to play against it.

3. You can score loads assists/kills while in your own jungle thanks to the range of your jhinW.png and jhinR.png.

4. Great clears due to his jhinQ.png and jhinE.png damage. Example: You lay a jhinE.png in the center of the Raptor camp then AA each Small Raptor once (now you have your 4th shot ready) then bounce your jhinQ.png of each of the Small Raptors (this should kill them) then it will bounce to the Large Raptor, combine this with your 4th shot for a ton of damage.

5. A very enjoyable build to play for people you like a bit of off-meta stuff that is still effective. I had a lot of fun making this build and thanks for reading it, feel free to like/dislike and comment too! :D
