Summoner Spells Back to Top

There are only 3 summoner spells which I recommend which are flash, teleport and ignite.

1. Flash is the standard spell. You want it in 99% of your games as you should all know by now. For it's many uses, securing kills, escaping ganks, repositioning youself for a better outcome in any situation.

Next, you have teleport and ignite which should be accompanying your flash. The two are completely different but each have their own unique set of pros and cons. You want to be using teleport 80% of situations and ignite in another. The success you get from each of these depends solely on you but I will recommend where each can be taken and when it shouldn't. But I first must talk about the two of them starting with teleport.

2. Teleport, having this on Kled allows you to have strong map presence within the same level of Tf, Pantheon, gangplank and nocturne and shen. With his ultimate and teleport, he keeps enemies on their toes and they will be saying to each other "Kled 6 care roam". Something like that, as if they were playing against a TF or Pantheon.

About Kled's early game teleports. You generally have to use it 1-3 times during the beginning and here are some common situations you'll want to use it.

#1 The enemy minion wave is crashing into your turret but you're still at base. Teleport if you will lose atleast 6 minions.

#2 Your ally is being ganked, sometimes it is a good idea to instantly teleport to their lane. This forces the enemy to decide whether they should keep going, or let your ally remain untouched. Then your decision is to cancel the teleport, or keep it going if they comitted to their gank.

#3 An aggressive teleport. Use it to make a play for yourself, anywhere on the map. If you have a comp that doesn't have to rely on your ult to engage. It could be a braum ult, ashe arrow, lee sin kick combo. but yes, you can teleport down to a ward or minions and just ulti in to the enemy team. That's how you engage with kled.

3. Ignite. With ignite, the risk factor is that you don't have teleport. But the pro to it is that you can win any 1 v 1 and 1 v 2's if you have been playing well enough. Taking ignite can guarantee a lv 2 kill against any laner as Kled is a strong champion at this point and time. With it, you must snowball yourself and get bigger and bigger. Taking towers from your lane and any lane. It's a good idea when you're against champions who have an innate heal such as irelia, gangplank, fiora and ekko. But even for tankier champions like a malphite or garen, it becomes so much easier to secure kills. But a good Kled doesn't have to rely on ignite to get kills.

Sometimes you can take ignite and teleport and lose the flash, making securing kills abit harder and makes you vulnerable to more ganks in the early game. But you still have E as an escape so in my opinion, losing the flash is fine as you get the best of both worlds from ignite and teleport.

Masteries Back to Top

Basically ideal for my play style, I feel it turns me into an assassin. Lots of roaming potential to snowball my team. However, running double edged sword does carry a huge risk in laning phase and out of it. In laning phase, the risk is that I can lose trades in certain matchups. But to mitigate this, knowledge of the enemy champion and what they can do to me will change how I play.

Fairly straight forward leveling tree. Only thing to note is at level 3, you can take E over Q just so you have all 3 skills available.

I will take Q at level 3 as it makes trading easier and since you don't have E, you will have to use flash to secure a kill if needed.

I will take E at level 3 if I already won the trades at level 1 and 2. Then once I hit level 3, just take E to have a second gap closer instead of flash.

Simple right?
