Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png is a great spell on LeBlanc as, if you combine it with her W and her R, you have three escapes and five jukes. Use this 95 % of the time
14.png like for any mid laner works really well.
1.png is for champions with very annoying spells like Veigar's E.
12.png is viable, however I highly recommend going 4.png14.png as the perks that those spells give you are far greater.
21.png also works against champs with huge burst like Lux.
I don't recommend these last 3 spells though, because they're more defensive, and your w should be enough to escape sticky situations

Masteries Back to Top

Pretty standard again. Thunderlord's decree works amazingly well on LeBlanc. Intelligence is really worth it for the cooldown reduction and Precision gives less of a boost. Bandit is redundant since you should be getting all the cs, but if you're really nervous you can take it. Merciless and Secret Stash are obvious and Savagery helps you with CS which can be quite difficult.

Thunderlords is still the best in this patch, for your Q-W-AA, which will proc it

Firstly, W should always be taken first. Q is useless as your first spell, and though E is a solid shout, it remains a difficult skillshot, that doesn't help you with cs, so always take W first. Next is a point in your Q, because of how it works with W and next your E. After that, max W, always. It offers great damage, but more importantly great mobility and trickery which is now your MAIN point.

Your ultimate is now global. GLOBAL! You really need to use this properly and I really don't like having it off cooldown, EVER. When you back, head to a lane and back in the jungle and when you arrive at base, send your ult. Your ult doesn't actually change fights in terms of damage, but that half-second when their adc thinks they're about to be blown up by you really changes a LOT, so make sure to maximise its effectiveness. The other part of your ult is pretty standard: loads of mobility, 3 second snare or tons of damage. Just remember to always combine it with another spell, and remember that you can for example cast 2 Es really quickly. If you hit several champs with a W, then I would suggest hitting an empowered Q(ult) but that is the ONLY situation.
Remember that a goal of Leblanc is simply to have fun and confuse your opponents so make sure to use your W and ult correctly but in a fun way as well. Troll your friends and your enemies.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Almost always.
For AD LeBlanc (section down below)
If you're confident or playing against a weak match up, but it's better to get it first back

Core Items

These items are amazing on LeBlanc. Rush Morello for that CDR and mana regen. Rabadon's next.
Usually my last item on her. If they have a lot of MR, always get this. Still works without a lot of MR
Very good, like on any mid-laner.
    Can also work very well.
Try and get this first back.
In the current meta, these work well. Remember to upgrade
I like getting this on her now, because there comes a time when you have maximised the utility of your damage, and defense is way more useful. You can get it before Luden's

Situational Items

If you really need MR, also instead of Morello
    AD LeBlanc

VS

Aatrox

Easy

I doubt you will ever come across this, but just continually poke him down with Q-W, then when he's half health go for the combo and all in

VS

Ahri

Medium

Medium to Hard. You should still win, but rush that early Rabadon

VS

Akali

Medium

Pretty even, go for the early Zhonya's. Remember your E and W can still damage her in her cover of smoke.

VS

Alistar

Medium

Surprisingly difficult, although he will never have the damage to kill you, killing him is a whole other story.

VS

Amumu

Easy

Avoid his bandage toss and he won't be able to get close to you. You utterly destroy him early game, and even late game he will barely ever be able to kill you 1v1.

VS

Anivia

Easy

You can take her down quicker than she can take you down, and your W renders her ulti useless. Make sure to avoid her stun and you should be fine.

VS

Annie

Medium

Never go in when she's got her stun. Try and bait it and then all in her, but if she stuns you, you are usually dead after lvl 6.

VS

Ashe

Easy

You can 1v1 her so easily what ever lvl. Avoid her ulti and thank her ofr the free lane.

VS

Azir

Hard

Skill based match-up, but if he plays well, he will beat you.

VS

Bard

Easy

He has one damage spell, avoid it with W and you've won.

VS

Blitzcrank

Easy

Easy enough, even if you get grabbed just W away.

VS

Brand

Hard

Damage is massive, you NEED to avoid his stun or you're dead

VS

Braum

Easy

Really easy. Just destroy him early.

VS

Caitlyn

Easy

Very easy, you can pop her immediately, pretty much any level. Also you can block her ult with a good clone.

VS

Cassiopeia

Hard

Reasonably difficult. Try and avoid her cloud at all costs, and remember to try and bait her ulti with your W.

VS

Cho'Gath

Hard

If you lose early, you're screwed, but you need to get fed. Late game, you won't be able to pop him.

VS

Corki

Medium

If he's given an early lead, he will destroy you. If not, you will win

VS

Darius

Easy

Early game is suprisingly easy and you can bait his ult with your clone.

VS

Ekko

Easy

W out of his W and you're fine

VS

Fizz

Medium

Bait his ult and his E, and avoid them with W. All in him if his E isn't up.

VS

Galio

Hard

Perfect counter

VS

Twisted Fate

Easy

Point and click stun, but in lane you can destroy him if you bait his card and then all-in

VS

Yasuo

Medium

Pretty difficult lane, because of his wind wall. However, your Q is usually enough to bait it, and your W can't be blocked. You can also use your W to reposition. Remember to AA him to get rid of his passive.

VS

Zed

Medium

You can burst him, he can burst you. Remember to W away from his ultimate and try and buy QSS

Early Game Back to Top

When minions come, try and W the enemy while hitting the back line of minions, AA then W back.

Once you hit lvl2, W-Q-AA him as much as possible.
If you poked him down enough, W-Q-AA-E-AA-Q-14.png should get you a kill.
Try and get blue buff from your jungler and when he comes in for a gank, make sure you hit one of your Es (R)
Level six, you can all in him and with your trickery, even against a champ like Zed, you can win easily.
Before backing, try and clear the wave in your lane with W-R or now W-Q
Early game is extremely good with LeBlanc and always try to look for the lvl 3 kill. Popping flash is worth that.
Really concentrate on getting cs though, and anyway, remember a kill is equal to 16 cs in gold.

Mid Game Back to Top

Make sure you keep farming. Roam as much as possible but only when you're likely to get a kill, if you're not send your ult. You should be able to kill everyone at this point, but make sure to get that cs as well so you still have an impact late-game.

You should be able to kill the enemy mid laner, but don't forget to ward the river. Try and ward their blue as well whenever you can as you can get a free blue buff from them by Wing in and Wing back.
Your basic combo is the same, and poking with W-Q is still really, really important. That combo is your bread and butter. Try and primarily roam bot lane as you have potential for a double kill and helping out your adc. Remember that your cooldowns are low enough to burst the enemy mid-laner and roam bot with your ult up. I usually roam by going under turret, pretending I'm backng and then going bot/top.

Late Game Back to Top

You fall off a lot, and many people say you're useless at this point. That's not true as you still have a lot of baiting abilities, a lot of Aoe and decent CC. People will often target you, and using your clone properly will really mess up their teamfights. If you can't do these things, just kill their adc. You're worth the sacrifice.

Generally your full combo is up every 20 seconds and you can still poke with Q-W. Don't forget W-R for a surprisingly good amount of AoE damage. I feel post-rework you're more relevant at this point, and you can still maximise your effects. ALWAYS be there for team-fights, you're not a splitpusher.

Jukes Back to Top

LeBlanc is all about escaping. From a bush, W out and then when your enemies come close to you, run into another bush and W back. This is the same logic with R. Remember that you have five dashes with flash and abuse them. Your clone can also confuse the crap out of them. For example make your clone run away towards the river when in mid lane and then you stand still. They'll chase and you'll be far away once they realised what you've done. Don't get over excited though, sometimes it's just better to use your W as a mobility spell rather than a juke

AD LeBlanc Back to Top

This is very fun, and can actually work because of your base AD stats. Your combos are the same, just with more AAs in there.

If you do try this, GO TOP. It's much easier there.
However, AAs with LB feel like spitballs, so it's not that satisfying.

About me Back to Top

My Summoner Name is LordUpton and I'm an S2 in EUW(add me, just say you read my guide :)) Leblanc is by far my favourite champ, and she is also my main (100k+ mastery points). Unless you're playing Rankeds, just have fun and juke a lot.

I will add more, especially about the matchups, but I'd love some feedback first.
This is my first guide, and it's just a quick one for before games, enjoy :)
