Summoner Spells Back to Top

In my opinion this is the only way to play 64.png Jungle. We don't have to talk about the  11.png pick because it's essential to secure objectives like Drake or Baron. Additionally I think there's no other way to play any other Summoner Spell then 4.png since you have to make plays the whole game when playing 64.png. It is really useful to perform Combos which I am going to mention later. I have already seen people picking 14.png or 3.png which can be strong to win duels. However, I don't recommend them because 64.png is really strong in duels already for the reason that his blindmonkqone.png and blindmonkrkick.png deal a lot of damage when used right. Therefore and because of the reasons already mentioned before I pick 11.png and 4.png in all my games.

Offensive Masteries (12/18/0)


Since Thunderlord's Decree is very strong and 64.png can proc it easily I usually go for it. I take Oppressor instead of Bounty Hunter considering that you often chase down people while they are slowed by your blindmonkeone.png and you also give some of the kills to your laners so you won't be likely to kill all 5 members of the enemy team. 
Choose on your own between Precision which provides Armor Penetration or Intelligence if you prefer Cooldown Reduction.

As you see I take my blindmonkrkick.png whenever possible and max blindmonkqone.png first. Second I max blindmonkeone.png because of the slow after putting a second point into my blindmonkwone.png to get nice sustain while creating synergie with my masteries and my jungler item's lifesteal.

Jungler Item

I would buy 3711.png in 100% of my games because it provides 2 free wards which are essential for 64.png and the whole game. Wards provide safety when invading/counterjungling and they allow you to perform a wardjump with your blindmonkwone.png. I will talk more about wardjumps later. However 3706.png and 3715.png are quite nice aswell. 1408.png is a great item for him since it provides cooldown reduction, armor penetration and attack damage. However at the moment 1409.png and 3748.png are pretty strong aswell.

Core

As your second item you want to pick up a 3077.png :

3077.png gives you attack damage, a faster clear speed and a nice active which provides some additional damage and a nice auto-attack reset.

I really do feel familiar with buying a 3156.png since I think this item is absolutially fantastic! Its passiv is amazing to survive burst and just stay alive in general.

I often pick up 3742.png as my first armor item. I really like the movement speed buff you get after a short time. It's very effective to chase down enemies, escape or flank.




Boots

If you snowball and you have to be everywhere all the time buy 3117.png3111.png and 3047.png are situational. I recently don't really like 3009.png and 3158.png anymore so I end up picking up defensive boots almost always.




Further Items

Make sure to build some tankiness aswell because you dont have a very good lategame. 

3065.png is better then 3102.png in my opinion because it provides cooldown reduction and supports your lifesteal. However, if you got 40% cooldown reduction already make sure not to pick it up. 

Most the time I upgrade 3077.png as last because I want the other items first. Then decide if you need 3074.png or 3748.png.

If you reach late late game it can be nice to swap 1408.png. Make sure to keep your 3340.png if you decide to sell your 1408.png because otherwise you wont be able to perform any wardjumps!

Buy 3026.png if you are fed/have to carry.

Warding Back to Top

Since you will pick up 1408.png and you got your trinket wards make sure to use them not only to wardjump. However, try to keep atleast 1 ward at all the time to escape in case of emergency! 


Make sure to have a 2055.png on the map all the time. As a jungler vision control is very important. If you have a lead try to place some deep wards in your enemy's jungle to allow your team to see him early enough. If the other team's got a lead you may better want to place some defensive wards to see them enter your jungle. In the following image i marked the in my opinion best spots to place your wards or even your 2055.png. You might think that there are some other important spots, those should actually be warded by your laners.

Another important thing is to keep objectives such as Baron Nashor and the dragon warded. Talk with your support or even toplaner to make sure to have vision on or around them.

Try to kill the Rift Scuttler in the river to build up even more vision and control.


Tips & Tricks Back to Top

Practice

Make sure to practice this champion a lot before playing him in ranked games. Play normal games or bot games to become better in hitting Q and using the combos.

Ganks 

To be more effective when ganking try to use this tactic:

Ward > blindmonkwone.png to wardjump next to your target. Then use your blindmonkeone.png twice to slow your target down before you use blindmonkqone.png for the reason that a slowed target is easier to hit. (Use the same strategy when playing with 3706.png.)


Passive

Make sure to use your passive when jungling or pushing towers. Always use a spell then autoattack twice and use the next spell.


Combos

Make sure to use the combos I'm mentioning in the next part to be as effective as possible!

When playing 64.png you have to make plays during the whole game's duration. Therefore you need wards, your 4.png and a lot of practice! I'll show you some of the most useful combos you should have mastered if you want to play 64.png usefully and be successful.




Wardjump

Ward > blindmonkwone.png

Wardjumps allow you to jump over walls and dodge skillshots. A wardjump is the most basic move for any other combo.



Save Q

blindmonkrkick.png > blindmonkqone.png > blindmonkqone.png

Whenever you kicked your  enemy he will be airborne while he is flying towards the direction you kicked him, so he won't be able to use his 4.png nor any other escape spells such as ezrealarcaneshift.png in this time which allows you to land your Q really save.



Damage Combo

blindmonkqone.png > blindmonkrkick.png > blindmonkqone.png

When dueling make sure to use this combo to deal the most possible damage since your second activation of your blindmonkqone.png scales with your enemy's missing health. This combo also is very useful to kick enemy champions over walls and follow them to either escape or kick them back to your team.



E > Flash

blindmonkeone.png > 4.png 

This combo is very useful, especially in the early game. When you gank and you cant get in range to hit your target with your blindmonkeone.png and you may have no ward left, you can cast your blindmonkeone.png and while its animation is going off 4.png onto your target to give them no time to react and apply the slow.



The Insec

blindmonkqone.png > blindmonkqone.png > ward > blindmonkwone.png > blindmonkrkick.png

This is one of the most famous Lee Sin moves. It needs a bit of practice but after a time I'm sure you will manage to do it faster and faster. It's very useful to kick an enemy back to your team and split it from his team. Be careful because after an Insec you might be in a dangerous position yourself. To avoid this there is an other very useful combo.



Kick Flash

blindmonkrkick.png > 4.png

Your goal is it again to kick an enemy back into your team. The trick here is to use your blindmonkrkick.png first and then 4.png behind your enemy as soon as you see the animation starts so there will be less time for him to react as if you use your 4.png to get behind him. You then either can follow up with blindmonkqone.png > blindmonkqone.png or just combine it with the Damage Combo so you can follow up your target instantly after the Kick Flash. One problem here is that you have to be in range to kick your target back, so you have to use either your blindmonkqone.png or a wardjump.



Surprise Combo

blindmonkqone.png > 11.png

Use this combo whenever there's a minion between you and your target. Just smite down the minion while your blindmonkqone.png is in the air. This will surprise your enemy who might feel safe staying behind minions.



Juke Enemy Skillshots / Close Up

blindmonkqone.png > ward > blindmonkwone.png > blindmonkqone.png

This is very helpful when facing champions like for example 60.png63.png101.png or 103.png. Whenever you got your blindmonkqone.png mark on them they most likely will try to anticipate your second blindmonkqone.png and they will try to stop it with their own skillshots eliseE.pngbrandblaze.pngxerathmagechains.png or ahriseduce.png. To avoid this you will wardjump sideways before activating your blindmonkqone.pngagain. This also can be done with 4.png.

This also can be used if your target gets out of your range. You will perform a ward jump to close up with him to get in range to activate your second blindmonkqone.png.



God Lee Combo

blindmonkqone.png > blindmonkqone.png > ward > blindmonkwone.png > blindmonkrkick.png > 4.png

If you pull off this combo during your game everyone will think you are a total 64.png god. It's meant to put your blindmonkqone.png mark on a enemy champion, which doesn't have to be your final target, so for example it can be a tank who will be much more easy to hit since he wont hide, then activate it and wardjump next to your initial target and kick flash it back towards your team.
