Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png - Is a must on Miss Fortune , due to lack of escape mechanics. Use it wisely , since it has a long cooldown.
How you can use Flash:

- Escape a dangerous situation by flashing over an wall
- Dodging powerful skillshots that can get you cc'd (grabs/roots etc)
- Dodging AOE cc
- Jukes
- Taking a kill , when you are in the impossibility to take it by any other ways



7.png - I prefer Heal over Barrier. It gives you more utility , since you can save a teammate by using it right.
When to use heal : 

- When you are low hp:
  • In a trades , when you need extra hp to win that trade
  • When you have to survive skillshots/global ultimates
- When you need to save a teammate :
  • This spell will heal the lowest hp teammate that is near you , so use it when he needs it
When not to use heal :

- You have grievous wounds debuff on you (it will reduce your heal power)
- When you are too low , and you won't survive even when you use it
- On feeding teammates. There's no use to waste heal to help them , since they already don't worth the gold. Use it to save a teammate that can help your team to win the game

Masteries Back to Top

Standard 18/12 masteries , with Warlord's Bloodlust as a keystone mastery.

Ferocity : 18
  • Fury vs Sorcery - Since you are an AD Carry , and you are going to build AD , you don't need Ability Damage.
  • Fresh Blood - A 6s cooldown extra damage ? I'll "buy" it
  • Vampirism vs Natural Talent - Vampirism is the one to go , since you will lack lifesteal until you build BT. Also , 15 AP at level 18 , is not that much to make a difference
  • Bounty Hunter vs Oppressor vs Double Edged Sword - Since the modification of the "Double Edge Sword" mastery , this is the one to go. Doesn't matter that you are ranged or not , you still deal 5% additional damage , and receive 2,5% additional damage.
  • Battering Blows vs Piercing Thoughts - No explanation needed here
  • Keystone Mastery: Warlord's Bloodlust - Since you will go most likely with 1 item of lifesteal , you should boost this status as much as you can.
Resolve : 12

  • Recovery vs Unyielding - I choose Recovery here , due to health regen. Just a personal choice.
  • Tough Skin - Is the one to go here. Minimizes the damage that you take on early game from minion aggro , or enemy champions basic attacks. 
  • Runic Armor vs Veteran's Scar - Runic Armor , since boosts your lifesteal , your heal , regeneration and shields (BT's shield and any other shields that you get from teammates)
  • Insight - 15% cooldown reduction to your summoner spells means a lot. Take it without looking back
So , with these masteries , you boost your lifesteal status (you get extra 2% from Vampirism , and a 25% vs minions increase and 20% vs champions + another 8% from Runic Armor). Since you will run 1 lifesteal item , these masteries can make the difference between surviving or not a teamfight , skirmish etc)

missfortunepassive.png Love Tap - Whenever MF attacks an enemy unit that was not the target of her previous attack , she will deal 50-100 (based on level) %AD bonus physical damage to them , halved to 25-50(based on level) %AD versus minions and turrets.

In less words this means extra damage whenever you switch targets. Great passive whole game , but very hard to use in teamfights because you'll have to focus closest enemy in range.

missfortunericochetshot.png Double Up - Active :MF fires a shot at a target unit , which then bounces to hit another unit behind it , dealing physical damage to the first target , and increased physical damage to the second , applying on-hit effects to both.
Double's Up second sot prioritizes units directly behind the primary target , especially enemy champions marked by Love Tap prior to the ability behind cast. If the first target is killed , the second hit will critically strike , dealing 50% increased damage.

Now , some numbers :

First target damage : 20/35/50/65/80 (+85% AD)(+35%AP)
Second target damage : 40/70/100/130/160 (+100%AD)(+50%AP)
Range: 650-500
Cost: 43/46/49/52/55 Mana
Cooldown: 7/6/5/4/3 seconds


This skill also applies your passive , so you can add that number to this.

In laning phase , use this skill , on low health minions , to poke your enemy behind them. You can also use a small combo , when you duel them to deal some nice damage. First of all make sure there are minions/enemy support behind your enemy ADC , then , hit your enemy with with AA-Q-AA. Your double up applies your passive , but , it will bounce on the minion behind him and reset the mark on your enemy , and you will apply it back with your next basic attack (you will deal a nice amount of damage on them like this)

missfortuneviciousstrikes.png Strut - Passive :MF gains 25 bonus movement speed if she has not taken damage in the last 5 seconds , excluding periodic damage. This bonus is increased to a greater amount after another 5 seconds.
Active: MF gains bonus attack speed for 4 seconds and brings Strut's passive effect to full power.
Marking a new target with Love Tap , reduces Strut's cooldown.

Some numbers:

Maximum bonus movement speed : 60/70/80/90/100
Bonus attack speed: 40/55/70/85/100%
Cost: 30 Mana
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Use this skill , when you need extra attack speed for fighting an enemy , or , to escape a dangerous situation (avoid taking damage after activation)
You can also use it for chasing enemy team , since activating it gives you your strut to maximum.

missfortunescattershot.png Make it Rain : MF rains down hundreds of bullets onto the target area for 2 seconds , slowing and dealing magic damage every 0.25 secons to units within area.

Magic damage per 0.25 seconds : 10/14.375/18.75/23.125/27.5(+10% AP_
Slow: 28/36/44/52/60%
Range: 1000/200
Cost: 80 Mana
Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds

You can use Make it Rain in different situations:
- Check a bush near you since it grants vision in a 200 unit radius
- Slow down enemies , so your team/you can catch up with them , since it has a long range to cast (1000 units)
- Set up your ultimate , by making harder for enemies to escape (will burn some summoner spells)
- Escape from chasing enemies , by slowing them down (be careful because you need to stop running to cast it)

I don't recommend you to spam too much , since it has a high Mana cost , only when you need to.

missfortunebullettime.png Bullet Time : MF channels for 3 seconds , firing several waves of bullets over the duration , each dealing 75% AD(+20%AP) physical damage.
Each wave can critically strike , dealing 20% x (1 + bonus critical damage) bonus damage.

Minimum total damage: 900/1050/1200 %AD(+240/280/320% AP)
Total waves: 12/14/16
Range: 1400
Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 120/110/100


This is your signature move , the one that will bring fear into your enemies. With a good set up , you can ACE an entire team , in just 3 seconds. Be careful because you don't have to move , because you will cancel it.

Situational Items

    Get this item when enemy team has high sustain
    instead of BT or as a 6th item
    defensive items
    Consider this item instead of mercurial , when enemy team doesn't have a lot of cc

When you get back in base the first time , buy 3134.png and rush 3142.png. It gives you so much dueling power (thing that you lack after her base and scaling attack damage ... always build 3134.png first , then you go for 3133.png).


For your second item , you can go either 3071.png or 3814.png. If teamfights start early , go for Black Cleaver first. 
You can buy your boots after you finish yoummu , for the extra attack speed.


3036.png - buy this item if the enemy team have tanks (2-3 armor items) otherwise , it's useless due to the fact that it applies for bonus armor (armor that you get from items etc.)

You might need 3153.png when enemy team stack health , but is situational , since your ultimate will shred them most of the time.

3078.png - DON'T BUY THIS !!!! Your base damage is 46 , there's no use for this item

3142.png3814.png3071.png -  Once you finish all 3 items , everything will hurt (your passive , your Q and mostly , your ultimate)
3156.png - Recently saw that this item works too. Nice amount of AD and Magic Resist. Also , that 10% armor penetration works with current build. Consider this item as a 6th item.
3147.png - BUY THIS ITEM when enemy team lacks cc (buy it instead of 3814.png)
3814.png - Use this item , use your ultimate ... Easy game , easy life (thx rito)


As you can see , this is an lethality focused build.

Why no crit build ? Well , you benefit a lot from this build. A lot of AD and armor pen (Tank Meta) , armor reduction (your teammates will deal increased damage on the enemy team too) , CDR and dueling potential (something you lack due to low base and scaling AD)

She has a higher range than you , and you should always be aware of that. Poke her using your Q to a low health minion , so it can bounce to her dealing extra damage.


She has no escapes untill 6 , so a 53.png412.png as support should do the trick

This is a hard matchup for you , because Caitlyn outranges you by far , and she can easely zone you with her traps.


Play safe overall and poke with your Q. When you engage on her , go all in.

He will outdamage you by far in long trades , so , don't fight him.

This is an easy matchup.


You outdamage Ezreal. Poke him with your Q and stand behind minions to avoid his mystic shot.

Just dodge his root (not that hard considering your passive) and avoid getting hit by his 4th attack. Poke him a lot if he stays behind his minions.


He has no escape , so you and your support can go all in on him. Start with your "Make it Rain" , to slow him down , then go all in.

40.png - slow , knock up , shield+increased damage , heal

Poke her with your bouncing Q and your AA (attack one minion , attack her , then switch targets for max use of your passive).


You will still lose in long trades , so , don't trade with her.

Same tactics : Poke , poke , poke. You are a nightmare for Vayne , so make it happend.

Attention: DON'T FIGHT HER 1 VS 1 unless you are ahead by far (even then , without a pink ward , don't , unless you are forced to)

NOTE: This was available untill patch 6.23. After the lethality change , these stats are not actualized , still , lethality build is way better than crit build (MF is one of the top 3 ADC for the last 2-3 patches)

  • 50% permanent movement speed + 20% when you activate yoummu's + 20% from Black Cleaver's passive (when you attack , increased to 30 when you kill an enemy champion)
  • 20 lifesteal
  • Nightfall active
  • Cost: 3200+3250+3100+1100+3700+2700= 17050 gold

Considering the facts , we can say that armor pen build is better that crit build because :

  • More AD when you are full build
  • More armor penetration
  • More health
  • Better dueling power (yoummu's active + black cleaver's passive will make you very slippery when chased. Also nightfall active gives you a power boost when you fight someone)
  • Higher cost efficiency early-mid game
  • Miss Fortune doesn't scale with crit. Her passive can't crit , her Q can't crit , and her ultimate does only 20% increased damage when crits. Also , her low base AD , her AD scaling and her "switching target mechanic" don't make her a good AA reliant ADC. So , building crit on her is a gold waste !!!

I know i'm not a high elo player , so i'm not going to write positioning and other tactics(not yet), since i'm still learning.

The only advice i can give you for now is to play safe , and , in teamfights , use your ultimate from behind (it has a long range , and , by staying behind , it will be harder for the enemy assassin/mage to come and kill you while channeling)
Ask your team , in champion select screen , to pick an AOE CC champion 32.png54.png62.png . This will help you a lot in teamfights , since it will be easier for you to land your ultimate , and win.
