Summoner Spells Back to Top

Nami is very fun champion but need to practice when or where to land her Q "Aqua Prison" namiQ.png. Only thing you have to think about is predicting where the enemy is moving.

"Exhaust"
3.png
This is the common spell that Supports bring. Nami is not fast enough to chase down the enemy for landing her W "Ebb and Flow" namiW.png, which heals you and your team and her Q "Aqua Prison" namiQ.png. You might want to just bring it to make enemy slow for your ADC to kill and you poke them down.

"Flash"
4.png
Flash is what everyone brings ALL THE TIME, you can go closer to your enemy or you use it to escape from them. Again. Nami is not that fast so you should bring it. If your flash is down, you can speed up yourself with all of her abilities, but her Q and W have longer movement to use it so I recommend use her E "Tidecaller's Blessing" namiE.png.

Masteries Back to Top

This is my all support mastries too, have 18 cunning and 12 resolve. You'll want to have "Windspeaker's Blessing" to increase your heal, Nami is mostly about heal and poke, damage like Sona 37.png. And I choose to have 2 "Runic Armor" to have more stronger healing and 3 "Veteran's Scars" to have more health so that I can survive in team fights and heal your team.

Max the W "Ebb and Flow" namiW.png. So that you can have less cooldown and lot of health healing for your team and yourself or give more damage to enemy and heal yourself or your team. Next max Q "Aqua Prison" namiQ.png. When you hit the enemy, you stun them for 1.5 seconds and gives damage too, when you hit the enemy, give your adc or the one team a E "Tidecaller's Blessing" namiE.png. To give them a three hit extra damage and slow down to enemy. Her R "Tidal Wave" namiR.png. Sommons a wave deals a lot of damage, but has long cooldowns, You use it to slow down the enemy or escaping.

Starting Items

Core Items

Situational Items

For items, I always get how I set up up there. You have to get "Spellthief's Edge" 3303.png. It gives you 10 additional damage 3 spells or basic attacks. When you first go back, get "Sightstone" 2049.png to give yourself 150 health if you can, if you can't then you should upgrade "Spellthief's Edge" to "Frostfang" 3098.png. It gives 15 additional damage. And get "Vision Ward" 2043.png so that you can get enemy team's ward in the bush. But they can also see it so you should get "Sweeping Lens" 3341.png to scan the bush. I recommend to get it when you get "Sightstone". Lastly get boots if you can. Second come back, you should upgrade "Frostfang" to "Frost Queen's Claim" 3092.png. It gives you 50 AP, 10% cooldown. It have same damage as "Frostfang" but you can use this item to summon 2 ghosts to find near by enemies or slows down the enemies. Upgrade "Sightstone" to "Ruby Sightstone" to have 500 health. Upgrade your "boots of speed" 1001.png to "Ionian Boots of Lucidity" 3158.png. If you can buy items, start to get the items that upgrade to  "Athene's Unholy Grail" 3174.png and "Rabadon's Deathcap" 3089.png. "Athene's Unholy Grail" give you a 20% cooldown, restore 30% max mana when you kill or get assist and restore 2% of missing mana every 5 seconds. "Rabadon's Deathcap" give you a 120 AP and increase 35% AP. Last 6th Item is situational. If your enemy team is mostly AP, you build "Spirit Visage" 3065.png for tankiness and 10% cooldown. 70% magic resist and 500 health. If your enemy team has Zed 238.png, Katarina 55.png, Fizz 105.png or other assassin champions , I recommend you get "Zhonya's Hourglass" 3157.png, when you use this item, you become invulnerable and untargetable for 2.5 seconds, but you cannot attack, use items and use summoner's spells during that time. If your enemy team have critical damage, should get "Ranuin's Omen" 3143.png, it gives you -10% of damage taken from critical damage, +500 health and +60 armor. Or you can get "Frozen Heart" 3110.png, gives you 90 armor, 20% cooldown and 400 mana. It is up to you what you get between "Ranuin's Omen" and "Frozen Heart" but I suggest to get "Ranin's Omen" when there's a lot of critical damage taken.

Matchups... Back to Top

In my opinion, it doesn't really care what champion is counter to certain champion because it's all depends on how games plays. In my experience.. I put Teemo as hard becuase my team was against enemy team including Teemo, there was one that was really bad and there was Teemo carring their team. So.. It's all depends on how the game goes on and just focus on your team trying to save your team and heal, Warding is important, ping is very important. Pay attention to how their team builds. If they building AD and you might want to build some tank, if they are building a lot of AP you want to build magic resist items. Good luck!
