Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png I shouldn't need to go too deep into why you'd want Flash.. Just a great choice no matter the situation, go over walls, dodge skill shots, flash on top of people etc.

6.png The only time you'd ever want to take ghost is if the enemy has lack of CC to where you can seriously abuse this spell, great for chasing people down, helps against kiters or running away. More for experienced players but I still recommend Flash over anything.

12.png Teleport is 100% recommended and needed for any Nasus player as It helps us get back into lane faster, helps pressure other lanes, can contest Dragons/Barons or even split push in the side lanes then just teleport to help aid if there's a fight breaking lose. Not to mention if they have open inhibs and minions pushing in, you could potentially just end the game right there.

New Runes Back to Top

Runes Reforged and Explaining Runes:

Standard: (Recommended)
We're able to achieve very high tenacity, great lane and skirmish sustain while still dealing tons of damage with lots of resistances and health. An overall great choice for any Nasus player.

Resolve:
Grasp%20of%20the%20Undying.png?width=32Grasp of the Undying: Permanently increases our health by 5 every time we auto an enemy which is going to be very frequently unless in a very unfavourable. Offers bouns damage equal to '4%' of our max health which is really gonna hurt late game. Not to mention we get healed by 2% of our max health when we proc this.
Perseverance.png?width=32Unflinching: 25% Tenacity and Slow Resistance for 10seconds if we've used a summoner spell. Additionally if the spell is on cooldown It offers 10%. So if we use both spells, we'll have an extra 20% Tenacity+Slow Resistance.
Conditioning.png?width=32Conditioning: Increases our total resistances by 5% which is huge, especially in nasusr.png.
Second%20Wind.png?width=32Second Wind: Offers great sustain not only for laning but for skirmishes.

Precision:
Overheal.png?width=32Overheal: Synergies with nasuspassive.png+Legend%20Bloodline.png?width=32+Grasp%20of%20the%20Undying.png?width=32 including 3065.png to amp the effects of healing by 30%.
Legend%20Tenacity.png?width=32Legend Tenacity: We'll be able to achieve 20% tenacity from Legend%20Tenacity.png?width=32, another 25% from 2138.png, another 30% from  3111.png which gives us a massive 75% tenacity. That's not calculating the tenacity received from Perseverance.png?width=32 which is just insane, you'll be basically semi immune to CC late game.

Alternative:
Overgrowth.png?width=32Overgrowth: Only recommended if It's a favourable match up and won't get poked.
Demolish.png?width=32Demolish: Starts being efficient once you've hit Mid to Late game as you would have more health to really take advantage of the rune. I recommend both runes but It comes down to personal choice. I hate being CC'd so I take Perseverance.png?width=32.
Legend%20Bloodline.png?width=32Legend Bloodline: Offers the most sustain for laning and skirmishes, I only consider taking this rune if the enemy has lack of CC to where I can fully abuse this.

785.jpgAbilities Explained:

The unfavourable match up, Maxing E over Q:
Buy 1056.png first item and max nasuse.png, you won't nasusq.png stack as much, push the enemy laner to their tower to create attention for the enemy jungler to come gank you, make sure to ward frequently.

By doing this we'll be able to generate gold income without being heavily punished or even missing entire waves of minions under your tower. Yes, we'll lose stacks but It's better than losing the minions in the first place. We can always stack later within the game.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

A very gold efficient item that offers pretty huge defensive stats for it's price, I never sell this until 20+ minutes. I recommend purchasing this.
If you feel comfortable with your play-style and have a decent or easy match up you can try Ruby, Cloth, Mantle. Otherwise just start with the Shield.

Core Items

First Purchase should always be Triforce, Exact order should be; Sheen > Stinger > Phage.
Combined with Triforce and Frozen Heart you'll have over 40% CDR making stacking much easier and manageable.
Spirit Visage will help keep you alive during fights simply because of the amount of good stats it provides and 30% healing effects. Great item even if they have no AP.

Situational Items

(First Back) Purchase either one of these three items; Sheen if the lane is manageable to rush Tri-force or Glacial if the lane is unbearable via Darius/Riven or Cowl to help with poke harass via Teemo/Liss.
Swiftness Boots against annoying slows or Ninja Tabis against heavy AD or Merc Treads against hard CC.
If you're lacking mobility and are against annoying slows. Also offers pretty tanky stats... Another alternative is Righteous Glory, easy to catch targets which also has a slow at the end of the active.
Offers tons of AD, gives MR and life-steal. I generally purchase this item Last because It's an expensive item but can also be very useful. An active to remove CC and grant a steroid of movement speed.
If have no AP in the team and need more split-push potential. Otherwise not recommended.
I recommend purchasing this item as a 4th item if you're up against a heavy stacked AD team.
Offers more base ad which is huge damage, pretty useful shield that scales very well with the stats during your ult.

Items Explained:

The Combination of Frozen Heart and Thornmail:
Not only will you achieve an insane amount of armour but an insane amount of utility against heavy stacked AD teams. The passives from 3110.png and 3075.png mean you'll successfully apply a 15% reduced attack speed aura followed by "30%!!" reduced attack speed if you're auto attacked which also applies Gervious Wounds for a second.

Trinity Force vs Iceborn
By experience 3078.png is more efficient than what 3025.png has to offer. They're both great items however 3078.png has everything Nasus could ever want, 20% CDR, Mobility, High Attack Speed, Great Damage while giving him 250+ HP.

Q&A

Q: What should I technically purchase first?
A: I'm a semi-experienced Nasus player so I always Purchase 3078.png because It's his main source of damage and it offers 20% CDR while still giving him survivability from Phage. You can always go for an early boot purchase if you feel the need to do so but I only recommend buying 3047.png If there is an AD top laner and jungler.

Q: What should I purchase second and third?
A: 3065.png or 3110.png depending on the situation either way you always purchase both, It's about what do you want first. If I'm laning against a certain champion for example; 68.png or 85.png, I'd purchase 3065.png, if I'm laning against somebody like 92.png or 23.png then I'll go 3110.png, Pretty simple.
