Summoner Spells Back to Top

Toplane Nautilus

For Toplane Nautilus I would recommend  Flash,TP in 9 out of 10 cases, because his T-plays can be tremendously. If you want to have a very safe laning-phase, go Flash, Ghost.

Jungle Nautilus

Flash, Smite ... nothing more to say, keep on reading.

Support Nautilus

My personall preference on most Supports is Exhaust, because it's just better in mid or latgame than Ignite. On the other hand you need an early killpresure on Nautilus so Ignite is a good choice if you see your early potential

Courage of the Colossus

I love this shit. With Nauti you have 3 ways of prog it, be sure to use it whether it is on cooldown.
The very best part is its interaction with the W shield and the buffed AA's. The Colossus shield will be consumed BEFOR the W shield letting your buffed AA's lasting longer.

The other points are mostly personal preference. Just make sure you take Runic Affinity in the jungle and Bandit as Support.

nautiluspassive.png Staggering Blow (Passive)

Free CC and Damage, thats pretty much it. On lane this is THE tool for lasthitting minions without trouble and manacost. In teamfights you just want to chain your CC together and get the snare one as many opponents as possible.

nautilusanchordrag.png Dredge Line (Q)

Escape? Not with Nautilus around. Compared with Blitzcrank's hook This thing pulls yourself a bit into the opponents direction, has a wider hitbox and can't pull people over walls. BUT you can use it to get along the Rift Spiderman-style, which is really cool.
If you gank or roam better us this not at first but try to walk onto your opponents, get your passive off and force them to use their gapclosers to get away from you, when, in fact, honestly, no one will get away from Nautilus, ever...

nautiluspiercinggaze.png Titan's Wrath (W)

Besides the big ass shield most people forget about the damage that you get from this ability. As mentioned above you can outtrade many matchups in the earlygame. In later teamfights just popp this when you're about to get damage. In mid- or latgame the damage is to neglect, but the shield gets even better.

nautilussplashzone.png Riptide (E)

Damage and slow, even more damage if they run around like headless chicken. Have an eye on your manapool when using that often.

nautilusgrandline.png Depth Charge (R)

This thing got buffed lately giving now knockup and stuns on anyone hit. Just be sure to hit as many people possible. It's also helpfull to get hand on very mobile champs because it follows them regardless of flashs or gapclosers, just like VI-Ult.

Skillorder

The skillorder above is for Jungle and Toplane. As Support you should max W first and E second, allways max Q last.

Take W first regardless of the role, because you can outtrade many matchups with only level 1 because of the free damage from your passive and W.

Toplane

Core Items: 3068.png3065.png3512.png

I usually start with Sunfire or Visage, depending on the lane matchup and then get ZZ'rot Portal second.

With Sunfire and ZZ'rot you have so much push-presure, the tower should be down very soon. Add Spirit Visage and you're tanky enough to get stuff done in teamfights by beeing a walking CC-machine.

Some recommended final builds:

3068.png3065.png3512.png3151.png3026.png3047.png/3111.png

--> overall balanced build, tankyness, damage, presure, sustain. My personal favourite build.

3068.png3025.png3143.png3065.png3026.png3047.png

--> Fulltank against mostly AD-teamcomps

3065.png3512.png3068.png3102.png3001.png3111.png

--> Fulltank against mostly AP-teamcomps

3027.png3068.png3065.png3512.png3026.png3047.png/3111.png

--> alternative start with Rod of Ages and then just balanced fulltank

Jungle

Core Items: 1409.png3065.png3143.png3512.png

Well, you get obviously Cinderhulk instead of Sunfire Cape and you need to get some Armor items, but besides that the items you get afterwards and optional items in several situation are pretty much the same.

Support

Core Items:3401.png2049.png3109.png3190.png

These are more or less the standart coretitems for any tanksupports, which includes Nautilus of course. I really can't honestly recommend any mor otional items, because when playing as support, you won't find yourself in the situation to get an actual fullbuild. Whether you can't go wrong with Redemption and ZZ'Rot portal.
