Summoner Spells Back to Top

Hi. Welcome to my AD Nidalee guide. I hope this guide will answer the questions you have about AD Nidalee in Top Lane

1-) Recommended Summoner Spells

4.png14.png I'm generally going for pick that both because I'm not generally going for split-pushing or bot lane roaming. I prefer snowballing my lane to One Hit K.O. Enemy carries.

4.png3.png That will help you much better against champions which has great bursts under some situations ( Having ultimate in their pocket, 39.png has %1 less health than you, 80.png When you're under %50 hp etc.)
4.png12.png If you're facing such a hard tank in lane that you can't snowball or champions that can overpower you. You have no chance of snowballing so go for teleport and roam other lanes to get some kills.

Masteries Back to Top

I always pick Wanderer over Savagery because It feels like helping a lot in late game to place a good javelintoss.png and also It's a little bit about not having difficulties in last-hitting minions

Secondly Assassin always does better as I'm going for snowballing my lane in solo lane. Biscuits are pretty nice and good but It's just not suitable for my playstyle.

Merciless is a No-Brainer for my playstyle didn't even think of having Meditation over it.

Dangerous Game helps me a lot at diving opponents under their turrets but Bandit also does pretty well to be a real monster in middle game

Precision that dude just maximizes your burst to takedown opponents pretty fast.

Thunderlord's Decree is the keystone mastery of every single burst champion.

I feel like Sorcery makes me snowball in a much more easy way but also Fury helps you a lot in kiting enemies to have an easier lane phase. Pick the one fits your playstyle more.

Double Edged Sword is a must have to snowball way faster and faster and takedown carries in late game.

Natural Talent boosts your burst while Vampirism sustains you. This build is totally based on fast bursting enemy carries so I go for Natural Talent.

As We don't have any CC to use Oppressor you'll need your jungler to have effect of it. I'm generally going for Bounty Hunter as Harrassing your opponent makes enemy minions attack you and push the lane so your jungler isn't easily going to gank your lane.

Having javelintoss.png and bushwhack.png  first lets you have some early kills with some Auto-Attack harrassing before the combo. As you pick up these 2 You won't really need them to snowball your lane anymore as they don't boost your Cougar form damage. As javelintoss.png damage is pretty nice butprimalsurge.png has insane Healing and Attack Speed buff which you will need more to overpaw your opponent. So If I'm not playing against a champion that I can really knockout with a real single combo I will go for maxing primalsurge.png. But If I'm facing unusual squishy tops just like 30.png or 9.png I'll max javelintoss.png ofc.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

He makes the best for harrassing your opponent with AAs and Takedown them. %90 Of time I start with that guy.
That also does pretty well if you feel like you're going to need mana sustain.
Always get a second (2x Doran's Blade or 2x Doran's Ring. Don't buy 1 Blade with a Ring) of them before you get another item in your first base. They do pretty well in early game.

Core Items

MUST HAVE. Always build it first or just after a defensive item like Warden Mail or Spectre Cowl
I'm generally picking those guys as defensive items.
Nidalee Boots. Pick Sorcerer's Shoes if enemy carries stacked Magic Resist, Swiftness if it's an Ashe or Kog'Maw go for defensive ones otherwise.
You can get 1 of these before or just after your TF to have a nice survivability.
That dude is just one of my favourite to maximize my burst in a sustained way. You can rush it as first item instead of Trinity force if your opponent is harrasing you but not really able to kill you.
That's my other core item with Trinity Force. It doesn't make you lose any damage as Nidalee doesn't have Bonus AD scales but AD Scale. So It gives you a nice damage combined with Trinity and an unmatched survivability against big bursts.

Situational Items

I'm generally going for that guy if I need to maximize my damage against everyone especially against magic resist stacked Carries.
Enemy carry stacked HP like an uncommon Anivia or Cho'Gath or maybe AD Carry? Pick it, That also reduces the chance of getting kited by carries.
Purely smashing the game and need to finish it in a faster way? Pick that dude and It will make your Takedown's damage over 9000. P.S.: It just does well when you're like 3 or more levels ahead of your opponents' average.
Do you need defensive items to survive longer in fights? Of course you do.
Enemy team has Vayne, Shen, Diana, Jax and Kayle? That dude is just going to stop them for playing that game.
I don't like it. That's just unnecessary but If you're going to pick an extra offensive item by replacing Trinity Force with that guy then you're permitted to pick it.

    Easy
  • Riven
    Medium

VS

Garen

Easy

You can harrass him with using the advantage of bushes to cut off his passive. And when he engages on you can easily get away with your ''Cougar W'' or kite him until he is at a safe distance. And when he gets under a certain hp amount you should look for a good position to land your javelintoss.png on him to deal your full combo damage. Just make sure his garenjustice.png isn't able to execute you as you don't have the best of base Magic Resist.

VS

Malphite

Easy

You can harrass him with using the advantage of bushes to cut off his passive. And when he engages on you, you can easily get away with your ''Cougar W'' or kite him until he is at a safe distance. And when he gets under a certain hp amount you should look for a good position to land your javelintoss.png on him to deal your full combo damage. Although It's an easy matchup you should always be aware of his combo's damage especially if he's building AP. Because Nidalee has a low base Magic Resist. So an early rush of 3211.png will do pretty well against that dude.

VS

Riven

Medium

That's most likely a hard matchup for you but if 92.png goes for maxing her riventricleave.png first You are able to kite her in your Human form. So she's not going to deal high amounts of damage on you with her riventricleave.png. But if 92.png goes for maxing rivenmartyr.png first. You have no chance of dealing with her. Just don't get caught in her range and rush an 3025.png with getting some armor/hp to hope for don't get bursted down to ground in early game.
