Core Items

    Hydra first -> GA
    If you buy boots early then take CDR unless you are against lots of auto attack champions (Tryndamere, Lucian, Zed etc). In this case get Ninja Tabis.

Situational Items

    Good defensive items
    ONLY build these items if you are extremely fed. If you are not fed it's almost always better to build tank items.

Olaf can destroy pretty much any other jungler if you farm well and gank, and because of Olaf's ultimate there's not really a hard counter. If you are even in items Olaf should be able to 1v1 anyone in the first 20 minutes. However, Olaf can get outscaled by lots of junglers so you need to snowball your lead.

PROS

1. Olaf is very strong because of his ultimate combined with Righteous Glory and Ghost. You can easily hunt down enemy carries without getting CC'd. 

2. Tanky

3. True Damage is OP 

4. Not banned very often/ Not picked very often

CONS

1. Can easily get kited by some champions without ultimate

2. Falls off late game

3. You need to hit the axes or you are screwed!

4. Can't kill enemy carries if the enemy team has too many shields or lots of healing
