Summoner Spells Back to Top

Obviously when you go top you'll need back up from the jungle, but when you're around 2/0 you ARE the back up, be it in bot or mid... map awareness is everyone's priority in early game, but they need a little 'push' when they're in trouble.

Masteries Back to Top

in Ferocity you deal damage along with a cc, you farm and recover meanwhile you poke your enemy, and getting advantage of them when they're in your cc, which be almost all of the time.

in Resolve, i picked to enhance the W's passive, getting an even higher % of bonus armor and magic resist, your movement speed increased in bushes allow you to dodge several bad times while pushing, with veteran and perseverance you have enough sustain to become tanky easily while building some items that will work well with these boosted stats. Enemies boost even more your defenses, and finally, along with feast, Grasp of the Undying helps you to recover any health you've lost in an exchange while farming, it's all sustain in lane and getting the best advantage of your W's passive. Ta-tuh~!

MAX q and you'll have all the control in lane and mid-phase, only one point to W since the 15% of bonus armor and magic resist is a constant and doesn't change, and that little push is enough to free yourself from any gank (and some cdr compensates the lack of levels on it until late game). Next you max E because the bonus damage and ocassional combo allows you to use Q again and again when your victim is stuck in the wall.

Obviously you max your ultimate each point as possible, it's a massive Table-flipper that allows you to re-locate and smash your opponent with your classic combo.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

this item will seal your position in the lane, earning enough time to gather more gold and keep farming, meanwhile your opponent needs to either go to base or expose to a gank with low health/mana.

Core Items

Trinity force boosts all of your attributes mentioned above, move speed, cooldown to compensate a 'permanent' lvl1 W, there is also health involved, adding a bonus damage, incoming from the effects from the Dead man's and Trinity's; all of it focused in that tiny shield that deals a great damage...

Situational Items

Aggresive turn: Frozen mallet allows you to keep your enemy at hand, combined with trinity's little speed push and the slow, no one scapes, getting with your Q's slow. Hydra cleans the lane in one Q and a trigger of it, meanwhile the damage and life steal gives you some sustain, you remain kinda tanky with trinity,W's passive and your mastery/rune combo. Draktharr is a "last hit" resource when you seem already getting this build, the point of no return, your shield boosted by trinity can give you a chance to finish or delete your opponet's damage member...
Armor focus: your enemy can have an annoying zed or a steady Yasuo, and even more ad in bot and top lane, the armor focus helps you to take a turn of events and let those opponents hurt themselves, and keep them in the eye of the storm dealing an aoe cc of several slow with randuin, meanwhile your sunfire adds some magic damage as a bonus, a walking storm.
Magic Resist Focus: when the only ad champ in front of you is the adc, you can only expect some burst damage from ap sources, it gives you the option of use that as an advantage. Mages can deal a massive damage, but they'll remain squishy until certain point, to make sure you can resist a whole teamfight you'll return from the tomb to disable their combos. Banshee is the best counter to mages using a specific combination of abilities (veigar's cc and ult, leblanc's snare, lux's ult) and even with that. Malmortius works as an alternative to survive the enemy burst, or have a second air in middle of a teamfight, if that doesn't work you can simply switch to a multi push replacing malmortius with zz'rot, using also your teleport you'll give a problem from more than one source, mr is important, but pushing lanes may be more.
