Summoner Spells Back to Top

I personally prefer flash/ignite over flash/tp because after level 6, tp isn't as impactful. Ignite gives you kill pressure early and can help you secure first blood! However, it's better to take tp if you know you are going to get bullied early on.

Masteries Back to Top

The best thing to do is go 12/18/0 with thunderlords being the best mastery for Quinn. It really doesn't matter which masteries you take within the ferocity tree as those don't have a major impact on your performance. Choose the masteries in the ferocity tree that better fit your play style. Within the cunning tree everything but thunderlords and precision can be swapped out. Take Savagery if you want the extra damage against minions or take wanderer if you want to be faster on your roams. Secret stash is fine to take if you know you are going to need the extra help in lane. Greenfather's gift can be good on Quinn for when you are roaming. The extra 3% damage along with your full burst can delete any adc.

I suggest taking E first especially against melee matchups because it allows for you to poke then disengage quickly. It's important to prioritize getting level 2 first then trade with q -> auto -> e. the trade will do atleast half of the enemy's health bar with a thunderlords proc. From there just max q first then e then w. Remember, the ult is reduced by 50 mana with each tier in the ultimate. Because of this, one of the best times to roam is after level 11 but don't wait to roam til then. Quinn's ultimate is one of the best skills in league of legends and creates so many opportunities so remember to use it. In lane it is important to rush level 6.

I normally take longsword and refil pot because it allows me to go quickly into serrated dirk, but dorans sword and 1 pot isn't bad either. When i go Quinn mid against a heavy ap I will rush an early hex drinker and sit on it for half the game before completing the item. For your first completed item you want to rush either Ghostblade or Duskblade. Either is an okay option but i prefer ghostblade first because of the active, but if you are really ahead then Duskblade could be better to help snowball your lead. I prefer going static shiv second item because of the burst potential it has alongside thunderlords. From there I tend to complete my boots and go into Infinity Edge.

My normal build as Quinn mid against an ap mid is: 
>Longsword refil or 3 pots
>completed hexdrinker and boots
>ghostblade
>static shiv
>infinity edge
>complete hexdrinker into maw
>another lethality item or if they have a tanky team -> armor pen
For Quinn top my build is similar but I don't prioritize the hexdrinker and instead will go an armor pen item earlier in the build. 
For Quinn mid against a non ap mid laner I suggest building the same as my Quinn mid but disregard the hexdrinker and instead replace that with a guardians angel later on in your build.

I prefer going Quinn in the mid lane because it typically gives me an easy lane and I don't hurt my team as much because I am not going tank. The major flaw with Quinn is her late game team fights. Quinn is an assassin and should be played as such. It is your job to delete the major threats on the enemy team by trying to find flanks.

I couldnt get the matchups tab to work so i am writing them here. Quinn wins most matchups mid against ap mid laners and even ad mid laners. The one exception to this is Velkoz who is one of the only real counters to quinn mid, his range and true damage makes it hard for quinn to close the range gap and build defensive items against him. Other than Velkoz, most mid laners are easy to kill at level 2 with your full combo and ignite and from there use your lead to continue your snowball. For top laners, tanks will get to be a problem in the late game and its important as a fed quinn to try and end the game early. For top lane counters, pantheon is a big problem and teemo is an annoying laner to face.
