Summoner Spells Back to Top

Flash is mandatory on Riven. Use it for flash combo, bait etc.

Top/mid lane:

 - 4.png + 12.png, classic. Use TP only if  there is a big wave of minions close to your tower or to gank an other lane          (you can also TP top if a free kill is waiting for you).

 - 4.png + 14.png, use Ignite to increase the snowball speed / counter champs with high HP regen (like 122.png36.png,            39.png, etc.) / counter ranged champs (like 85.png133.png17.png, etc.) with an all-in.

In general, 14.png is the best option in low elo (lower than your true elo) / easy matchups, while 12.png is the best option in high elo / normal/hard matchups and when you can get free kills in gank on other lanes.

You can also take:

 - 11.png if you want to play jungle.

 - 1.png if the enemy team has hard CC (like 31.png25.png113.png, etc.).

 - 3.png if you have an opponent with high sustained damage (like 24.png23.png157.png, etc.) / if you want to                        play support.

Masteries Back to Top

Classic mastery page (Top lane):

This setup is powerful against tank. Indeed, this page is good for long trades, it gives you high sustained damage. There is a good synergy bewteen this page and 3071.png.

 - Thanks to Battle Trance and Fervor of Battle, the longer is the fight, the more the damage increases.

 - Fresh Blood is interesting for short trades. You can pick Feast instead but I think it's not the best option if you          play well Riven. Moreover, Vampirism + Recovery + Runic Armor provide you a good HP regen.

 - Bounty Hunter can be better than Battle Trance only if you kill at least 4 different champs. It means that is                useless in early game.

 - I think Tough Skin is the best choice, Explorer isn't really usefull with Riven because she uses mainly her dashes      to move. Siegemaster is too situational but you can use it if you plan to freeze the lane.

 - Insight is good but it's possible to pick Fearless instead.

Mastery page against ranged/squishy champs (Top/mid lane / jungle):

1.png

This page is useful against ranged champs. In general they are squishy, an all-in is necessary to kill them. This page is also interesting in easy matchups.

 - Wanderer, like Explorer, isn't really interesting on Riven, so take the other one: Savagery.

 - Secret Stash help to get a good HP regen against the poke, knowing we don't have Vampirism with this setup.

 - Dangerous Game is very important for a melee fighter, you can avoid the death several times thanks to this              mastery.

 - Intelligence is more interesting than Precision because you can use more often rivenfeint.png and you don't need                  lethality against a squishy target. It's important to be able to use rivenfeint.png often because you need to absorb the            poke of your opponent.

 - The Thunderlord's Decree gives you a strong bonus damage to kill quickly your opponent, there is also a good          synergy between Merciless and the finisher: Wind Slash.

If you want to play jungle with this page, pick Runic Affinity to increase the duration of buffs.

Mastery page for the tank build (Top lane / jungle):

2.png

This is the page for the tank build. This page is more focused on utility and shields, like the mastery Courage of the Colussus, than resistances. It's interesting to use it in hard matchups.

 - Assassin is good to kill easier your opponent in 1v1 but you can take Secret Stash if you need more HP regen, like    against ranged/poke champs.

Don't forget to pick Runic Affinity if you want to play jungle with this page.

It's also possible to play with a 12/18/0 page. In this way, you can pick Fresh Blood/Expose Weakness to be more powerful in trades/ganks, or Feast for a better survivability. Vampirism also help for it. Play jungle help a lot to stack the Bounty Hunter mastery, but Double Edge Sword is good too. I think Battle Trance is too long to scale to be interesting when you gank but it's probably the best if you play lane.

Max the riventricleave.png first, then the rivenfeint.png, and after the rivenmartyr.png. Like almost every champs, upgrade the rivenfengshuiengine.png at the lvls 6, 11 and 16.

Level 1:

Take the riventricleave.png first. If you are against ranged/poke champ or a champ strong in early game, take rivenfeint.png first.

Level 2:

Take the other one you didn't pick at the lvl 1. However, if you started with the riventricleave.png, you can pick the rivenmartyr.png in second for a cheese, engage immediately and try to kill your opponent. Do it only if your opponent is low HP or if you lvl up before him.

Level 3:

Unlock the third spell.

After that, max the riventricleave.png in almost every situations. If you take a heavy poke from your opponent, max your rivenfeint.pngfirst.
And please, don't max the rivenmartyr.png first, it's useless.

This skill order is the same for the top, mid, jungle and supp, than you play the classic build or another one.
