Summoner Spells Back to Top

Smite : Always necessary, you're jungling after all.

Flash: I always use flash, it raises your potential to make plays by a lot, also allows the tricky Q->Flash Combo

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Your basic items.

Core Items

Situational Items

In any normal scenario this will be all you need, the Situational items are there to reinforce anything you might be lacking in.

The order in which you would want to get them is: Rangers -> Dead Man's Plate -> Mercs -> Cinderhulk -> Spirit visage -> Liandrys -> Optional Item
I follow this order if they have the standard 4/3 ADs and 1/2 APs adjust accordingly with # of APs/ADs on the enemy team and how are lanes doing. If their rumble is 3/0 and their bot is 0/0 you might want to get a spirit visage before randuins

Why get AP?

With the changes to 113_64.png on patch 4.21 they lowered her AP Ratios on every ability but they changed one particular ratio, Northern Winds, the change makes her deal 3% of Enemies Health for every 100 AP, this doesn't mean that until she gets 100 AP she gets the first bonus damage, she gets 1% for every ~33 AP, added to the already high 12% from the ability.

Since Patch 5.5 Magus enchantment is no longer the ideal way to go, so with the core you will only get a 1% increase, however if you decide to add another AP item to it from the situational (except Iceborn gauntlet) will allow you to get the extra 3% for a solid 15% ontop of the liandry's burn and cinderhulk AOE passive.

Why not go full damage?

113_64.png needs to get IN THE MIDDLE of everything to deal any damage, since she shines in long fights you need to last in the middle of the teamfight for a long time, something glass cannons can't do. so get tanky.

VS

Amumu

Medium

He also has a gapcloser, an AOE aura and an AOE ultimate, but you have the perma-slow.

VS

Cassiopeia

Medium

Battle of the big guys, he has a lot of utility but you do as well.

VS

Elise

Medium

Boy did she get buffed, moved her to Medium since you can still beat her, just don't duel her 1v1 early in the game.

VS

Jarvan IV

Medium

His flag got nerfed so he isnt as good on teamfights anymore, but you shine on them.

VS

Kha'Zix

Medium

DONT FIGHT HIM ISOLATED.

VS

Lee Sin

Medium

Dont fight him early, you will destroy him on lategame.

VS

Master Yi

Medium

he doesn't care about your slow, so try to chain him along with the rest of their carries, if you and your team can instantly kill him, you win.

VS

Nautilus

Easy

he isn't hard for you, you are tankier and deal more damage than him on every stage of the game.

VS

Nocturne

Medium

dont 1v1 him, and try to bait his shield but DONT initiate on him

VS

Nunu

Hard

this guy... god damnit he's going to live in your jungle and take your stuff and you're going to cry. when on teamfights you can use your ult normally, but be sure to save your Q until he starts his ult, if you take his ult out of the frame he can just spit on you every 5 seconds... pfft.

VS

Pantheon

Hard

if eh goes aggresive on you, this guy is going to be a pain, you wont get a moment of peace in the laning phase try finding alternative ways of income and WARD everywhere, DONT 1v1 him and be carefull with your northern winds he can block the strong hit, however the aftermath is still going to hurt him.

VS

Rammus

Medium

well he builds a lot of armor, and you do MR and you melt tanks so... meh.

VS

Rek'Sai

Hard

dont 1v1 her, dont invade her, ward your jungle and you MIGHT survive.

VS

Shaco

Medium

Torture to go against but unless he's good he wont be much of a trouble PLUS your teamfights will be MUCH better than his.

VS

Skarner

Easy

Don't fight in his buffs, you should be fine otherwise

VS

Trundle

Hard

its like preaseason warwick but noone plays him. sleeper OP

VS

Udyr

Medium

annoying guy, trick2g fanboys will just backdoor the whole game, go to dragon early since udyrs like taking a ~5 minute dragons

VS

Warwick

Easy

well, he got butchered, see Trundle for a better version of warwick

save your Q for his ult, don't use it if its not to cancel his ults, don't initiate with it, no, cancel his ult.

VS

Wukong

Medium

well his teamfight is also god tier but his jungling not so much, try going aggresive on his first red/blue you might get lucky, don't let him get near your carries EVER, you peal in this matchup

VS

Xin Zhao

Medium

very annoying and strong, peal for your carries

The Q->Flash Combo. Back to Top

Now this WILL require some practice but it is very rewarding to learn since you can surprise your enemies with some extra range on your Q that they didn't know you had. Basically you have to time it right before Bristle lands from his charge and flash before the circle appears below him.

The first clear. Back to Top

The most common path right now is just killing the first camp, either Kruggs or Grump and get both buffs and gank after that, try using this path when you have laners with which you can combo and guarantee a 4.png or even a Kill.

Sejuani does NOT have an easy first clear and it is much harder without a  leash, but it is possible. here I add some horrible quality videos to show you her first clear, if I ever get a not horrible computer I will update them gladly.

The next videos will show you the power of Sejuani on the jungle, being able to clear every camp but the Raptors at the start without a leash. This is the "Farming" alternative, this means no early ganks, try to use this when you know your lanes won't need any ganks or you want to look for a kill right after you back.

Blue Side

Kruggs -> Red(smite) -> Wolves -> Grump(Smite) -> Blue -> Base

Red Side

Grump(Smite) -> Blue -> Wolves -> Red(Smite) -> Kruggs -> Base

Why Sejuani? Back to Top

I love the piggy, Bristle as well.

Pros
  • EASY 2nd clear and on.
  • A LOT of AOE.
  • Strong Slow.
  • Knockup.
  • High Mobility.
  • Game changing Ultimate.
  • %Enemy HP Damage(shines in long fights).
  • Tanky.
  • High Damage.
  • Can't be kited.
  • If you have the skin, SHE RIDES A PORO.

Cons
  • VERY hard 1st clear.
  • Her dash stops upon colliding.
  • Can't burst.
  • Hard to get to the backline.
  • Hard to come back if behind.
  • NEEDS to be tanky to be useful.

Sejuani's Role on teamfights. Back to Top

You initiate and go back to peal unless you have 2 other strong peelers or very mobile carries. that's all you do, since you destroy tanks its better for you to stay where they are, on your carries, you have a knock-up and AOE slows, please PEEL for your CARRIES, let them do their job.

You stay in the front line, if you see a good chance, initiate.

If your team has a good enough follow up you should fall back to Middle line and peal for the carries and try to do damage as long as it doesn't compromise your carries.

If your team doesn't have any follow up, then there's no reason for you to ever initiate, you'll be alone, your ult becomes an extra stun to peel for your carries or neutralizing them for a short while OR a disengage.

Good Follow up (2+ people) = initiate and peel.
Bad Follow up (1- people) = peel or disengage.

There's obviously the exceptions, like you're all waiting in a bush and you manage to get a 5-man ult on them, its best if you stick to the enemy team so your % damage sticks with everyone. but recognizing these scenarios come with experience.
