Summoner Spells Back to Top

I recommend 3.png + 11.png in most cases.

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

I use these masteries for 102.png. If you feel they are too offensive you can use 0-18-12 getting Recovery; Tough Skin, Veteran's Scar and Insight.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

You should be able to do 5 camps(without leash) including Red and Blue.
If you start Hunter's Machete get Q lvl 2!!!

Core Items

    These are your core items.
    Core items for Devourer Shyvana.
    Choose one.

Situational Items

Magic Resist options. If your going both Maw of Malmortius and Sterak's Gage get Runic Armor instead of Veteran's Scar!
Get one of these as your last item. Usually I go for Sterak's.
If you are really ahead usually go for IE then Triforce. Chek notes for more information!

This is my favourite build  1412.png--3047.png or 3111.png--3094.png--3742.png--3102.png--3053.png

Against heavy AD  1412.png or 1415.png--3047.png--3094.png--3742.png--3075.png--3143.png or 3053.png
---------
Against heavy AP 1412.png or 1415.png--3111.png--3156.png--3102.png--3094.png--3742.png (Get Dead Man's after 3155.png if enemy AD is fed or APs are useless)
---------
Full Damage build 1412.png(DON'T get Devourer when going full AD)--3047.png or 3111.png--3094.png--3031.png--3078.png--3053.png or 3026.png

Jungle Route Back to Top

1. Start where your bot lane is. That means: gromp or krug. The reason is, your bot lane can give you better help at killing the first creep.

2. Head to your first buff. Don't forget to use pots!

3. Go straight to your next buff. This time you smite your buff at the end. Sometimes it's smart to pull the creep into a bush.

4. Go for gromp or krugs. After that recall, buy 1041.png,2043.png and 2003.png.

5. Gank or keep farming till lvl6 then you HAVE to gank!

Pros, Cons and Tips Back to Top

Pros:

  • Shyvana is fast at clearing the jungle and can help her team in a short time
  • her damage is always fine even when she is building tank
  • she has no mana, which is really important this preseason
  • strong in Teamfights, because she is tanky and she deals aoe dmg on enemies
  •  her ulti doesn`t have a real CD, its easy to max her fury
  • good at pushing lanes and destroying turrets, because her Q deals dmg on turrets

Cons:

  • She is easy to kite by enemies with slow / cc
  • she is not as tanky as some other junglers
  • doesn`t have CC
  • doesn't have defensive skills to activate like shield / heal, only the passive which gives her armor & magic resist
  • weak against enemies with cc in fights

Tips:

  • if you gank:
  1. try to give the kills the carries, your jungle farm should be enough for you
  2. the other reason is, shyvana is not able to carry a game like an adc or apc (but shyvana is still strong)
  3. try to gank inlane. ask your team to clear enemy wards and hide yourself in the bush, till the enemy team starts to fight your team and engage hard on them. they won`t expect you, aslong the wards are cleared.

Skill Usage Back to Top

- With good positioning and timing, Twin Bite.png Twin Bite can massively extend the duration of Dragon's Descent.png Dragon's Descent. By hitting three targets, it generates enough fury to stay in dragon form for another two seconds.
- Twin Bite.png Twin Bite is a great turret pushing tool, as it allows you roughly three auto-attacks worth of damage in the time space of ~0.8. (taking into account attack animation time and casting time)
- Dragon's Descent.png Dragon's Descent is an excellent peeling ability, if you see a key member of your team (an ADC or APC) starting to get focused, use the dash the knock the enemies off while giving your ally enough distance to continue attacking.
- Dragon's Descent.png Dragon's Descent can be used to chase in or escape from any situation.
- To perform a quick harass, hit your opponent with Flame Breath.png Flame Breath and run into them with Burnout.png Burnout, following with a Twin Bite.png Twin Bite to proc the mark from Flame Breath.png Flame Breath and the on-hit bonus damage of Burnout.png Burnout twice, putting out good damage and extending Burnout.png Burnout. You can then use the prolonged speed boost granted by Burnout.png Burnout to escape just as you entered.
- Shyvana Shyvana's kit allow her to do large amount of damage over time at close-range, but it doesn't provide her with burst capabilities. Failure to combine or land Shyvana Shyvana's abilities together to effectively damage a target will create an opening for a period of time that your opponents can take advantage of, so be aware of your enemies' potential methods to disengage from you.
