Summoner Spells Back to Top

WAIT WHAT?!? TP?!? REPORT TROLL!!!!!

Yes... but no. Taking TP on support is for me a more than viable choice, especially on Sona, because you want to be here for all the fights. Your awesome auras and heals are needed by your team, and TP helps to make sure you do not miss any teamfight. TP scales better in late game that ignite or exhaust in my opinion.

Why TP is awesome:
- You will be there for teamfights and objectives
- You are squishy and can have one free back to buy and heal
- You never let your adc alone 1 vs 2 so he does not stupidly die
- You win more XP than your enemy team so you usually hit 6 before them
- You can TP on a minion taking turrets aggro for a longer push

What is the trade off:
- No ignite to lessen heals or finish enemies
- No exhaust to slow or lessen enemies' damage output (you have your sonapassive.png with sonasongofdiscord.png or sonaariaofperseverance.png for that though)

- Wanderer for more out of combat movement speed
- Biscuits for health and mana regen
- Merciless for execute damages
- Bandit for moneyyy $$$
- Intelligence for 45% CDR, more utility, more heal, more ults
- Windspeaker's Blessing is awesome for boosting both the heal and she shield from sonaariaofperseverance.png

Resolve:
- Recovery for sustain in lane
- Tough skin for taking a little bit less damages
- Runic Armor for better heals and shields on yourself
- Insight for more awesome plays with 4.png and 12.png

I like to have an early point in E, level, for better positioning, have a potential slow with passive and be able to rotate with the 3 spells to have the passive up more often.

I will not detail the abilities themselves, but more give advises on how I use them to their maximum potential.

sonapassive.png Power Chord - Passive

- Q passive Staccato for damage, W passive Diminuendo for reducing enemies' damage and E passive Tempo for slow
- Use W passive as you would use the damage reduction of exhaust
- More damage means killing an enemy and Q passive is sometimes worth more than W passive
- E passive is your only CC outside of your ult so think about it for chasing / running away
- Use mainly Q and E to charge your passive as the mana costs are really lower than W

sonahymnofvalor.png Hymn of Valor - Q

- One Q in base, one Q to help jungler with damage and aura, one Q + passive on the adc's face when arriving on the lane
- Do not forget the aura to boost your adc's autoattacks
- The range is far more than your autoattack range, sometimes it is better to just Q and not autoattack after
- A good positioning allows to hit both the support and the adc

sonaariaofperseverance.png Aria of Perseverance - W

- Try to shield incoming damages while healing for maximizing the use of your Ws
- Healing first, then shielding after allows Windspeaker's Blessing to last longer
- With a good positioning you can heal a target that is not the lowest health
- Try not healing clones 7.png35.png62.png

sonasongofdiscord.png Song of Celerity - E

- Your awesome positioning tool for maximizing the uses of Q, W and R

sonacrescendo.png Crescendo - R

- Make them dance!!!
- Be sure to make them dance: care spellshields and untargetability
- Wait for the perfect ult, do not rush it

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Spellthief's Edge for AP and money, refillable potion for less W and more Q in lane
Frostfang as soon as possible, it doubles your gold income

Core Items

40% CDR - I build these items every single game - Lucidity for more flash and TP, Athene's for doubling your heals, Redemption for better shields and heals, Locket shields OP
    Hybrid defensive items
    Armor
    Magical resistance

Situational Items

Cheap and really gold efficient if ahead
I do not like these items, but people will yell at me if I do not put them here...
I do not build it anymore, you do not need the CDR and it gives not enough mana regen now
