Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png FLASH

Essential summoner spell for Sona as she has no escape in her kit. With FLASH, Sona has the ability to engage with her ult or disengage fights.

14.png IGNITE

This is a standard spell for most mid-laners. With IGNITE, you are able to finish off enemies and have the ability to counter healing champions such as  VLADIMIR and  SWAIN.

6.png GHOST

Ghost (15% - 27%) and   Song of Celerity (16% - 20%) give Sona a spike of movement speed.

Masteries Back to Top

Thunderlords provides a lot of burst for Sona and can be easily proc'ed with Ult - Q - Auto.
Stormraider's Surge is not so great but if you are looking to poke and chase down enemy champions, it can provide a boost of movement speed.

* You can pick Feast or Secret Stash if you want sustain.

* I personally like Double Edge Sword and Assassin for the extra 5% damage in lane.

Core Items

[Stage 1] Core Items : Hextech > Sheen > Shard*
[Stage 2] Core Items : Firecannon (whole) > Lich > Luden
Final Core Items (Can replace Hextech with Protobelt)

Situational Items

If you rely heavily on spamming spells, especially with the 6.14 update, building either an Archangel's Staff or Manamune would help tremendously.
    For MR
    Mana + AP
    More AP
    AP PENE
3145.png Hextech Revolver = 75 - 150 bonus magic damage every 40 seconds.

3100.png Lich Bane = 75% Base AD + 50% of AP bonus magic damage every 1.5 seconds. + 7% movement speed

3094.png Rapid Fire Cannon = 50 - 160 bonus magic damage + 150 range every 100 charges. + 5% movement speed

3285.png Luden Echo = 100 + 10% of AP bonus magic damage every 100 charges. + 10% movement speed

3042.png  Muramana = consume 3% current mana to deal 6% current mana as physical damage.

Notes:
When it comes to [STAGE 1] Shard, it isn't necessary. You're better off finishing off Fire cannon straight up rather than building it separately. If you don't have enough gold to build Fire cannon straight up, start going for a Lich Bane/Luden Echo.

I personally like going as much AP as I can when I go this build, however, there are times where their team got a lot of magic damage. That is where the Situational [FOR MR] comes in.

Why is [ITEM] there?

3001.png Abyssal Scepter - It provides 60 AP, 60 MR, and 10% CDR. This item is primarily used for defense and AP.

3165.png  Morellonomicon - It provides 400 mana, 100 AP and 20% CDR. This item is primarily used for it's passive and AP.

3065.png  Spirit Visage - It provides 500 Health, 55 MR, 200% base health regen, 10% CDR and the +25% effectiveness of all sources of healing. This item is primarily used to sustain in fights,

3094.png Rapid Fire Cannon - It provides 30% attack speed, 30% critical chance, 5% movement speed and +150 range. This item is primarily used for its range and energized damage.

How to play Sona? Back to Top

1) When you spawn, Start with Q and use the ability. (Should have 1/3 power cord)

2) When you go into lane, try to Q and auto (Should have 2/3 power cord)
3) Try to auto, Q and auto (Should proc thunderlords and powercord)
4) Once you reach level 5, you should have 2 points in Q, 1 point in W, and 1 point in E. You want to go backwards for your powercord. ( E > W > Q > Auto ) The E will help you get closer. The W will help you sustain minimal damage when approaching. The Q will damage along with the powercord damage.
5) Repeat and have fun.

please read Back to Top

This build doesn't actually one-shot people but will do a tremendous amount of damage.
This build is also intended mostly on early/mid game.

This build is for fun and those who like to play off-meta champions.
