Summoner Spells Back to Top

As top laner 12.png and 4.png are the most used spells. So aswell on 223.png u want those.

12.png gets u back in lane quickly, at objectives for fights, roam to bot lane, ... many uses.
4.png is needed. Its his only engage or disengage in the times he needs it.

3.png and 4.png is a safer pick if u think u cant handle the matchup that well. When u reach level 6, tahmkenchR.png can be used to tp to different locations on the map.

I dont think there's any better Rune Page for 223.png at this moment.
With Grasp of the Undying dealing more damage at patch 6.12, it totally helps the lack of damage 223.png has to win fights.

U can switch around most masteries depending on the matchups but some are to important to switch:

Oppressor: During most fights u have ur target slowed or stunned, helps ur lack of damage.
Runic Armor: Combines really nice with ur tahmkenchE.png makes ur toughness incredible strong mid game.
Grasp of the Undying: Gives u damage and sustain.

Explanation of abilities:

Tahm Kench's basic attacks and damaging abilities apply An Acquired Taste to enemy champions for 5 seconds, after which decay once every 0.5 seconds, and stack up to 3 times.
Against enemies with three stacks, tahmkenchQ.png and tahmkenchW.png gain additional effects.

MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+ 70% AP)
SLOW: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%

Devour cannot be activated for 4 seconds after using tahmkenchR.png Abyssal Voyage. After a brief delay, Devour becomes Regurgitate while his belly is full. Allied champions can exit at will.

ACTIVE: Tahm Kench regurgitates the swallowed target. If they are an enemy, they are stunned for 0.25 seconds and take damage that is capped against monsters.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 20 / 23 / 26 / 29 / 32% (+ 2% per 100 AP) of target's max. health
Non-champions are spat forth, stopping if they hit an enemy or terrain and dealing magic damage to all enemies around them and themselves before taking Regurgitate's damage.
PROJECTILE DAMAGE: 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+ 60% AP)
Allied champions are also spat out, stopping if they hit an enemy, while enemy champions are regurgitated at Tahm Kench's feet. Allied champions can also be spat out over small walls.

While Thick Skin is not on cooldown, and after taking no damage for 2.5 seconds, Tahm Kench rapidly heals for a portion of his Grey Health over time, consuming it in the process.
TOTAL HEALTH RESTORED: 20 / 26 / 32 / 38 / 44% of Grey Health
ACTIVE: Tahm Kench converts his current Grey Health into a shield which slowly decays over 6 seconds.

BONUS MAGIC DAMAGE: 20 (+ 2 / 4 / 6% bonus health)
ACTIVE: Tahm Kench channels for up to 15 seconds, highlighting the path to his intended destination to allies while opening his maw to offer up to one allied champion the chance to come with him. Once an ally has climbed in or after a 1 second delay Tahm Kench can reactivate tahmkenchR.png Abyssal Voyage to begin a 1-second channel which, upon completion, blinks him and his ally to the target location, arriving after a 0.5-second delay.
Taking damage interrupts Abyssal Voyage, putting it on a 10-second reduced cooldown. Abyssal Voyage cannot be activated while tahmkenchW.png his belly is full.

Skill Order:
R>Q>W>E: Always level up tahmkenchR.png when possible, its boosts its damage output heavily and having acces to a second tp. tahmkenchQ.png is his poke ability, good damage when leveled early. tahmkenchW.png for having it faster of cooldown and more percentage damage. And as last tahmkenchE.png.

Level 2: tahmkenchW.png or tahmkenchE.png
Most situations u want to go for tahmkenchE.png, it helps u survive the early game and gives u the extra sustain if an enemy tries to 1v1 u at level 2, u can ehal urself back up while the enemy lost a good part of his. U can go for tahmkenchW.png if u know u can handle ur opponent early, giving u extra pushing power by tahmkenchW.png minions.

2033.png is ur general starting item, if u feel urself not really save early game then go for 1054.png against an ad champ. Even if u bought 1054.png u can still buy 2033.png for the laning phase.

3751.png GET THIS ITEM AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. It is ur bread and butter. 223.png lacks damage, this item gives aoe damage, lets u proc Grasp of the Undying easily, at level 6 u even get more damage then buying any AD or AP item in the early game.

Later build this item to 3068.png and get 1001.png and 3065.png. This is ur basic Core Build, giving damage and resistances against any matchup.

After that buy upgraded boots 3047.png against fed AD Champs, 3111.png against an heavy CC team or 3009.png to mak up for his lack of movement speed.

Situational Items:

3742.png Helps 223.png get into fights easily.
3075.png Against a fed AD Champ.
3110.png or 3143.png against an AD composition. With 3143.png being nerfed, 3110.png is more preferred but 3143.png is good against champs that build a lot of Crit Chance. Only get 1 of both.
3102.png Against a fed AP Champ. Blocks there first ability on u, helps when they engage on ur team so u can tahmkenchW.png ur AD Carry to reposition himself for that fight.
3512.png Helps for split pushing and overall resistances + movement speed near turrets.

Level 2 tahmkenchE.png makes vladimir poke rather easy to handle. At level 6 u outscale him better but pre 6 he can keep u away from farming.
