Summoner Spells Back to Top

7.png4.png

Standard bot lane summoners, used almost 100% of the time. You can bait people with your heal and use it for extra movement speed when you need to. Always run flash because you can use it over walls and get away WAY better than ghost.

1.png4.png

Use this against a team with a lot of CC (pretty much never run this). I actually don't think I could name a time where I would actually run cleanse. At that point I assume it would be a personal preference.

Passive: Increases 18.png's attack range every time she levels.

Rapid Fire (Q): Increases your attack speed. Use this when you know you'll be fighting for longer than a second. Basically when you know you'll be doing more than 2 auto attacks.

Rocket Jump (W): Propels 18.png to or away from her current location. Remember that this spell is AP and does shit damage. I see way too many people using it like it's gonna kill somebody. I use it more to position myself. RESETS on kills/assists.

Explosive Charge (E): The most used spell on 18.png. Think of it as a time bomb that does increased damage when you use auto attacks on the target. This spell can also be used on turrets (OP OP OP).

Buster Shot (R): Knocks the target backwards. This doesn't do too much damage either (it's AP). I use it as like a killing blow if someone gets away or if someone is getting to close to me and I need to push them backwards or save a teammate.

Always follow this set-up. Max your E because it's the best damage, especially for turrets. Get W at lvl 2 because you can all-in 2v2 if you beat them to level 2. When you poke, hit E, then Q. Almost always use your W to jump out.
Realize that your W is a reset and not necessarily used as an offensive spell. Use it to re-position yourself in teamfights and use it strategically. That's the biggest problem i see with other players is that they play too YOLO sometimes and it hurts them.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Best start for any ADC. Gives you sustain and good health

Core Items

    Most standard ADC build

Situational Items

Can easily be swapped with Static Shiv. If you wanna go for the more late game strat and/or don't need the wave clear
If the team has a lot of AP and you need to dodge their abilities (blitz/lb/morg/etc)
If they are all over your dick and you need to get a GA (good for assassins)
I swap this item with Merc sometimes. It is good against tanks and people you need to kite, such as for Singed or Maokai
I never build this, but if you were to run into a full AD team and they're focusing you hard, it would be decent

VS

Ashe

Medium

Pretty even matchup I would say. Tristana wins the late game. Dodge her ult and you're good to go.

VS

Caitlyn

Medium

Caitlyn will beat you in poke wars, but you will beat her in a 1v1. Avoid being poked, especially when she has her passive up. Caitlyn wins with her range, but you will outscale her.

VS

Corki

Medium

If Corki misses his missle barrage, you can poke him. Otherwise, I feel like Corki can push you into your tower and has a little bit stronger early game. Late game, you will madly outscale him.

VS

Draven

Hard

He does more damage than you early game, but if he drops an axe, that's the time to go in. Just farm under tower and find an opportunity to fight. Against Draven's I just try to not die and take it to late game. Tristana will always prevail in the late game. Draven can also disrupt your W.

VS

Ezreal

Easy

If you dodge his Q's you can poke him fairly easy. Ezreal is a weak laner. Dodge his abilities and begin to poke away. You can also push him into tower and make him miss farm.

VS

Graves

Medium

50/50 matchup I would say. Tristana is just a better champ in general at the moment. Dodge his Q. Look out for his level 2 all-in

VS

Jinx

Hard

Jinx out-ranges you and does more damage than you. Play passively and only fight her if your support goes in. She is bad when she gets CC'ed because she has no escape. Her damage is really good.

VS

Kalista

Medium

VS

Kog'Maw

Medium

VS

Lucian

Medium

Lucian is reliant on his Q. If you can dodge it, then you can begin to poke him. Once you get items you can autoattack him way better than he can. I think this is a pretty even matchup. Doublelift even said it was about a 50/50.

VS

Miss Fortune

Medium

VS

Mordekaiser

Hard

VS

Quinn

Hard

VS

Sivir

Medium

Probably one of the hardest matchups. Sivir can shield your E and your ult. She can push you under tower and she can harass you. Sivir is annoying to play with, just in general. The best time to fight her is when she spell shields, avoid her pokes, and you will win the trades. You definitely win late game.

VS

Twitch

Easy

Twitch is a weak laner, probably one of the worst in general. Be careful when twitch goes invisible, but you should be fine otherwise. Twitch is weak, you can poke him fairly easily.

VS

Urgot

Medium

To be honest, I haven't played this matchup in forever / I don't know if i have. 6.png is just a shitty champion compared to 18.png. Win CS lead and you should be good to go. 18.png late game is much better.

VS

Varus

Hard

Goozy's 4 Tips for Success Back to Top

1. DON'T DIE

90% of situations aren't worth dying. Best way to play is to CS and play safe. Don't make stupid plays because dying gives their players gold and you lose farm and experience. Play with the mentality of never dying and you may have a high success rate. How do you stop dying? Ward your jungle and don't take stupid fights. Always assume that their jungle is near you unless you see him on the map. I like to play with that mentality. Keep pink wards on the map for your team and less people will die.

2. CREEP SCORE

Creep score is what separates good players from bad players. Focus on last hitting constantly throughout the game. Sometimes people get lazy when the game gets later, but that's not an excuse to stop last hitting and farming. Farming is one of the most important part of the game because it's SO EASY and guaranteed gold.

3. VISION

Vision wins games. Constantly remind your team to get wards and pink wards. If you watch pros play they are literally stacking vision throughout the game. Always have a pink ward, somewhere. If you have any extra gold, buy a ward or two. If you catch someone out that's instantly a 5v4 at that point and the ward was worth it.

4. NICE GUYS FINISH FIRST

If there is one life lesson I have learned from this game, it is to be nice to your teammates. Tilting and blaming teammates does not get you anywhere and it doesn't do any good. I'm not saying that you didn't lose because of feeders, but making them feel worse than they already do does not help anything. If someone is dying a lot, tell them nicely to play more passive and ward and that you can still win! Every game is winnable and tilting yourself and your teammates just decreases your odds of winning. LoL is a team game, not a solo game. Part of solo queue is being able to work with others, they are your teammates, realize that.

Basic Info about Tristana Back to Top

18.png is known as a late-game carry, but I think the rework of her helped her change into an all-around champ who can succeed in all levels of the game. Though I do believe her mid-game is a little bit weaker.
Pros are starting to play her because her early game is stronger, and her E can destroy towers. LoL is an objective based game and her E can clear towers faster than any other ADC by far. Start with an E and then use your Q afterwards when you're fighting people.

Use your W passively unless you know you're safe to go in. It's your only escape and you have to take advantage of it. When junglers gank me, I make sure I have my W so I can jump away. 18.png also has a strong 1v1 power in which she can W in, E, Q, get a few autos in, and then pop your R. Boom son.

How To: Tristana Back to Top

EARLY GAME (0-10 min)
You should be looking for all-in opportunities while staying safe back. This situation often depends on the support you are paired with. Shoving up the wave is your best bet early as Tristana is a terrible CSer under tower cause of her low base damage and E passive. Ask your support to push together so you get the level 2 earlier than opposing botlane. At level 2 Tristana is a beast all in champion with like a Thresh hook or Morgana binding…. In this stage of the game you should focus on creeps score and short trades with E. Eventually an all-in might happen together with your W and E. As Tristana’s auto attack range is pretty low early levels you should avoid taking free damage from auto attacks while CS
ing.

MID GAME (10-2x min)
This is the stage of the game where Tristana is useless as … literally… If you manage to  bridge this gap you’re almost certain in securing the victory. As this is a weak phase you should avoid small skirmishes like 3v3’s or 2v2’s bot lane unless you’re fed. You better not fight anything until you reach your core items. As for dragon fights only go ahead and contest when the enemy team is outnumbered. As this is the point where the game gets decided and swings one sides favor you should not care. Push side lanes, make sure you get huge creep waves that have been stacking up.
KEEP FARMING and try to lose as little pressure that you can.

LATE GAME (2x+ min)
On the other end this is the point where Tristana really excels.. Team fight wise you should just focus the closest target available. Every auto attack you can land on their carries is a win. You should never endanger yourself doing so though. Tristana really needs a frontline to be able to carry fights. Kiting back is not really Tristana’s gameplay. You rather want to stand still and use that attack speed steroid of your Q, this will however never really come to reality. A red buff on a carry like Tristana is a vital part in team fighting, as excessively needed to kite those annoying bruisers. If your mid laner is getting focused you can try to save them by shooting away their damage source with your ultimate. However you can never ever endanger yourself doing so. I keep bashing on the part you should never endanger yourself doing anything, then you think man this champion is boring. Well you shouldn’t complain for getting pentakills all across the map and carrying your YoloQ game.

Laning Phase Back to Top

During the lane phase I try to play as passive as possible, regardless of who my support is. 18.png carries in the late game so all you have to make sure is to not get behind. Don't worry if you fall behind in CS, just focus on not dying. If you have an engage support like  89.png12.png201.png dives in and it's a bad fight, it doesn't mean you have to follow.

In the lane, 18.png actually does pretty well in the early game, but her range is weak. Whenever the other ADC uses one of their spells, that's your opportunity to poke them with your E and auto attack a few times. Also, focus completely on CS. Never miss CS to poke someone, unless it's an insane trade. If you force the bot lane to back, push the lane up and E the tower and get some damage down. Towers give your team global gold, it's worth it. Take advantage of her tower pushing in the early and late game. Objectives are the key to victory in LoL

Team Fighting Back to Top

In team fights I try and stay as far back as possible and kill their front line and kite backwards. Start with an E then a Q and do your damage on the tanks. If you get a kill, use your W carefully because the reset will allow you to either die or position yourself more carefully or more effectively. If I ever find an opportunity to kill their carries, I'll do it, but like I said, refer to: Goozy's 3 Tips of Success. DON'T DIE. The team needs you to survive. Don't try and make stupid plays with your W. You have an escape, but you are still an ADC.
