Summoner Spells Back to Top

14.pngis much better to get a early kill with help of jungle gank. It also secures a kill when you gank other lanes

12.pngcan be usefull especilly againist champions with hard pushing capabilities as well as poking spells.

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

I usually need some attack speed to farm cs.

TF gradually has increased attackspeed, but that's till late game since you won't level up his cardmasterstack.png until later.

Plus, what will you do when your two attacking abilities are on cooldown?

6 seconds is looooong time for TF in the beginning.

I like to have feast as it gives me sustainability without failure throughout the game.

TF usually don't build spellvamp items. This will help.

If you would like, you may take Double Edged Sword for early game

but TF naturally gets many kills with his ult, thus more benefitting from Bounty Hunter.

Taking 3 points on Meditation will greatly help you control your mana during laning phase.

You may not even need blue buff!

I usually tell ally jungler to take blue buff and reward me with early ganks.

Plus, people somehow thing "this TF is good, because he doesn't need blue buff"....?????????????

No TF greatly benefits from blue buff since he can mass spam WQ and still gank other lanes.

It lets you push easily, which is what you should be doing.

Still, TF is gifted thanks to his blue card. Abuse it and let your jungler get stronger early.

It is important to take Greenfather's Gift.

It is extra damage you can dump on enemy when you use ult to gank.

Remeber to step on bush before going to gank!!!

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Two Dorans Ring is great for early damage and mana restoration.

Core Items

Situational Items

Start with 2x1056.png.

This will give you enough mana sustainability as long as you don't spam Q.

It also provides you enough damage early for lv6 ganks.

Once you return home for the first time, buy 1056.png and 1028.png.

So you will have two doran rings and a ruby crystal.

Ruby crystal will build into 3010.png, and 3027.png which is your first core item.

Ruby crystal is enough to make you very tanky early along with two doran rings, thus zed or fizz lv6 won't be able to finish you off with one full combo, and you will bearly live with about 200 HP.

Once you come back from home, you can go roaming with ult, while enemy mid won't have much to do even if they join the fight without ulty.

Once you get a kill or assist, or nothing happens and you simply farm, finish RoA as fast as you can and start building 3057.png and 3100.png.

3100.pngis essential item that GRREATLY boosts TF damage.

TF is split pusher as well as strong assasin.

This item lets TF take down towers fast and deal lots of damage to enemy squishes.

However, if situation calls for it and you need some defensive item early on, rush 3157.png.

Even against mages,3157.pngis very effective as you have tons of health thanks to RoA and runes. Extra time of invulnerability buys time for your team to punish enemy trying to kill you. It is game turn around item that TF can abuse.

You can choose between 3152.png and 3102.png. I prefer to build Hextech faster than Banshees, because it is extra movement that lets you kite enemy champion skill shots like 99.pngluxlightbinding.png. TF has no escape ability, so this item is huge advantage for him. Banshees work fantastic too, especially against enemies that you can't kite such as 90.pngmalzaharr.png

Early phase Back to Top

Simply pull until level 5.

Start pushing from level 5 and once you turn level 6, return home before enemy does.

Return and make a gank with full HP and enough mana, while your mid opponent is returning to lane.

Mid phase Back to Top

Try to lock a stun with long range auto. Your movement speed is faster than you think others think.

Try to expect an enemy do something, and throw a yellow card by walking up to him.

Late game Back to Top

Split pushing will be very effective for TF.

You are strong enough to kill a squishy until they get some defensive items.

Use ult to kill off someone who is alone.

ALWAYS LOOK AT THE MAP FOR OPPORTUNITIES.

Looking at the map is what makes you raise your tier. Just keep looking at the map.

I sometimes just stay near my tower, doing nothing, but looking at the map for opportunities. (partly because I'm scared of 1vs2...)
