Summoner Spells Back to Top

Flash is an alternative instead of Ghost if you judge a gap-closer is needed for the matchup.

This is a guide I made specifically to help you learn the basics of Udyr, and doing so is best to play with maxing the Phoenix stance as it deals good damage even without any items to amplify it. The build will be havily focused on movement speed along with tankyness and a bit of extra damage for you to pose a threat and the ability to sit on your target even if the enemy team tries to peel you off.

Once you have a 3 item build Udyr is a very afficient tower diver.

Udyr requires you to be quick with stutter steps and jukes.

This build will effectively leave you with a permanent 40% tenacity, 35% cooldown reduction, 100% bonus attack speed (without Tiger stance or passive), about 500 movement WITHOUT Ghost, Bear stance or Passive along with 4k HP, 200+ armor and 170+ MR at level 18.

BONUS TIP: As you are most likely always faster than anyone else in the game you should try to always walk infront of your target inbetween auto attacks to make it alot harder for them to flash to safety.

You can opt to max E before W if you feel like the additional movement speed will help alot for early ganking, but it's most essential to have one point as the difference thereafter is not as great. Also one point in Q after you cannot max R or W to help in turret pushing.
