Summoner Spells Back to Top

4.png Flash, as most people are probably aware is the most common summoner to take on just about every champion in league. Vayne is no different, this summoner allows for interesting mechanics with Vayne's kit, escapes from near death situations or grants the ability to chase people down for kills easier. You should never take another summoner in place of flash.

7.png Heal is the best choice of an accompanying summoner to flash on basically any ADC, the movespeed provides you with the utility you need to dodge/escape/chase in different situations and the heal itself is great for keeping you alive in rough situations. Take this over anything else as a second summoner to flash, unless the situation calls for it.

1.png Albeit not used often by ADCs anymore, cleanse is definitely still a strong summoner to take in situations where the enemy team has a lot of point and click or hard to dodge CC that's going to cause you a problem. Can't do anything because of the TF gold card? Probably a game for you to take cleanse.

Masteries Back to Top

Thunderlord's is the mastery that makes this build as viable as it is, it gives a gigantic burst on your third auto attack on a single target making it likely you'll be able to burn down almost any champion you come across at full build. You NEED to take this over Fervor or Warlord's in order for this build to work correctly.

For this build you want to max Q and W first, although you can level both abilities simultaneously if you prefer to level them that way. Personally I'd take silver bolts second as it allows you to trade better, but if your matchup calls for you to take condemn second instead then that's fine too.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Take these items level one every game, this is always the best start.
If you're ahead or going even in lane then get either one of these items first, Serated Dirk is definitely useful as it gives you a cheaper alternative to BF with a nice build path, but the pen isn't necessarily needed early.
If you're behind in lane to start with you want to rush Zeal and build it into Shiv for the wave clear, farm up and play safe until you can afford building the other items.
Pick up boots of speed early, but don't upgrade them until later into the game.
If you're being knocked around a lot in lane, consider buying this item to keep yourself healthy.

Core Items

If you're ahead or going even you want to build Duskblade first item, this provides the most AD possible at the cheapest price aswell as a very strong all in potential with the passive.
Triforce wants to be your second item if you're ahead with this build, the sheen Proc and attack speed help you to get your burst off much quicker.
You should probably pick these up third item, they're not really needed early as you gain the movespeed from both Duskblade and Triforce that you would normally have missed out on by not having tier two boots.
Both of these items are core, but the order in which you build them is based on how far ahead you are. If you're ahead, IE first. Behind, Shiv first.
This is the item you'd build last in an idea world. On top of the large amount of AD it provides you, the lifesteal is also extremely useful (you could probably get this earlier in the build for sustain.)

Situational Items

If the enemy team is throwing out a tonne of magic damage or CC then these two items should replace Bloodthirster in your build.

Updates Back to Top

I will update this guide with matchups, etc later on as I don't have the time at the minute to do it. I'll post an update log to this post whenever I change anything on the guide.

I also understand that my Vayne winrate on this account is extremely low and that my stats on her aren't great either. This came as a result of playing her at a time that she wasn't exactly viable, I've played her on another account that I use to learn champions and have a much higher winrate.
