Hi all, this is my guide to 45.png support. This is a fun champ to support, and is surprisingly viable within the current assassin meta. You're essential goal in this is to abuse the fact that there are 2 enemies, making it easier to get more stacks. You can also take farm to stack, but that is only if you ask your ADC if stealing about 1/6th farm is ok for your stacking. This build and playstyle will give you maximum stackage, Kreygasm movement speed, and the ability to carry as a damage support. Now that the intro is over, let's begin with the Summoner Spells. 




Flash: For obvious reasons, and will easily give you first blood if you land a good q auto combo ignite combo if they are really low.


Ignite: This will allow you're lane to snowball, and is better to take against either mage supports, or against more aa focused, less all in types of ADCs. Best against these ADCs  222.png51.png22.png119.png81.png, and almost all mage supports.
Tip:Also, it's important to remember to try to use this before the enemy can heal during fights, this will reduce the healing they receive, making the kill easier to secure. 


Exhaust: Only take this if the enemy is an all in type of champion, and if good to use if you want to either secure a kill, or reduce the incoming damage of the support or ADC. Only get against these ADCs 67.png236.png29.png202.png or kill lanes. (Not worth to get if the enemy has a mid assassin or jungle assassin. It may be tempting, but you should be able to one shot them once you hit 6, and stop them with your veigareventhorizon.pnge, so don't worry.)

Masteries Back to Top

The Masteries are not optional, they are mandatory in order to succeed. 




Ferocity: 

Sorcery is obvious. 

Expose Weakness is taken because the other two are not too useful because you won't auto often (q is your new auto), and the sustain with farm is not worth it, especially because your ADC can, and will get salty.

Vampirism is simply better because of the massive damage, and the fact that you rather live longer to stack than get bonus ap from Natural Talent that you would have gotten anyway through stacks.

Bounty Hunter because you don't want to take extra damage from Double Edged, you won't be having extended fights, and you will 1 shot everyone but the tank, giving you +6% damage later in the game.



Cunning: 

Wanderer Movement Speed is better than the 5 damage for farming (which you will only do late game). 

Secret stash is good for sustain in the early game, while the other two are useless. 

Meditation is good because again, you do not want to kill the laner, you want the stacks, and this mana sustain will help you with your mana problems. 

Bandit is best simply because Greenfather's only procs on your autos and ult, and Dangerous Game is not worth it compared to the gold gained from Bandit. Intelligence for more stacks.

Passiveveigarpassive.png: Hit someone with an ability ------> get 1 stack per hit. 1 Stack = 1 AP. Late game you will have around half of your ap be from stacks.

Qveigarbalefulstrike.png Max for lower cooldown and more stacks. Your main damage spell. Upgrading will increase the AP gained from kills or assists, which won't be the majority of your stacks, but its worth upgrading.

Wveigardarkmatter.png Max last because scaling and CD is fine, plus this thing is impossible to land unless its for zoning, the enemy is retarded, or you land an E.

Eveigareventhorizon.png Stun duration increase is frustratingly long, and the cooldown is reduced, allowing you to live more, and get more stacks from landing it.

Rveigarr.png It kills when they are low/mid health, that's all you need to know.

Starting Items

    Stacks and cdr.

Core Items

    Want MS over push power.
    Late game sold Talisman to push with Lich Bane.

Situational Items

    If your team needs a tank.
Purchase these in order. Also, the situation build is only if your team complains that there is no tank, and you want to be a nice guy and give them what they need.

3301.png: cdr, free cooldown reduction, builds into movement speed, and gives mana regen and health sustain. This is the perfect item for this build.

3096.png: Rush this for the extra gold gain and the cooldown reduction.

3009.png: You have enough magic penetration, and you need movement speed to live and land spells. These are amazing, especially with the talisman ms and active. 

3165.png: Rush after 3096.png to get the cooldown reduction and passive which will reduce healing on adc's heal and received healing. It also gives a good amount of ability power along with the mana sustain. Lastly, this will give your 45% cooldown reduction, making you a stacking god.

3069.png: The active will give you picks with your veigareventhorizon.png, and will allow your team to disengage if necessary. It's a good item in general for this playstyle. 

3285.png: This item is good if you need even more movement speed, and if you believe the burst is necessary. 

3089.png: Make your bonus AP even more potent with this item! Especially at this point of the game, this Rabadon's is amazing, and will allow for one shots on a mage support or adc with no magic resist. 

3135.png: If the enemy has magic resist, get this item, but if they don't, the game is probably already over. If it isn't yet, get this item.

Harder to stack, and harder to kill. She is annoying, but a good veigareventhorizon.png when her vaynetumble.png is down will get a nice chunk of her hp if not a kill. 


All other adcs should be easy.
