Summoner Spells Back to Top

these are you're options for mid lane im not going to tell you what to take against what matchups just look it up lmao

New Runes Back to Top

Masteries Back to Top

masteries are another crutch like runes but there is some optimizing to do here

18 in cunning is mandatory because thunderlords is easy to proc on this champ but if you are going to take tp i would recommend speccing the 12 points into resolve as opposed to ferocity
(if you dont know what points are good in the resolve tree then they are recovery, tough skin, veteran's scars, and insight)

the second tier in cunning can be anything. runic affinity is good if you know your jungler will give your blue because these mana costs are ludicrous but otherwise assassin is a good default and secret stash has its place in harder matchups.

the same start as jungle but you max your e first instead of q, which you max second.

The reasoning behind this is your q is obvious but I'll explain it anyway:
The Q is a mobility tool that makes your ganks better and you don't need that to play vi mid. You COULD max Q first and have better waveclear but you would also probably end up in turret aggro. E is a much safer more efficient choice.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

only take pots if you have biscuits otherwise a refillable will do you much better

Core Items

    core
    boots
    after boots

Situational Items

    situational items

long sword + pots / refill is a standard start for ad mid

an early corrupting potion will help pay your mana costs and trade more efficiently against control mages

black cleaver is your core item. you can pick up a ghostblade for just upfront damage but black cleaver is safer and generally what you want.

after t2 boots you get triforce. some games you will even get triforce before t2 boots.

after triforce you can get a ghostblade if you haven't already or you can get a dead man's plate.  After dead man's you get either sterak's or randuin's (most likely sterak's), and maw last item.
