Summoner Spells Back to Top

Flash/Exhaust - This is the heavily favored Summoner Spell set for Yasuo at the moment. It provides excellent all-ins, as well as nice escapes if you are being ganked. In fights, if you and your support exhaust two targets, the team fight will sway heavily in your team's favor. However, this does remove the chance for heavy aggression early game, which is the sacrifice you will have to make in order to run this more passive set.

Flash/Ignite - Though my Yasuo is an interestingly passive playstyle, this is my favored spell set. It provides excellent all-ins in the laning phase and also makes invades at Level 1 often run smoothly in your team's favor, bringing an easy pick to your team early game. However, this spell set is usually left behind in favor or Flash/Exhaust. Running this set makes you easily susceptible to ganks, as you have nothing to save you other than flash, and potentially Wind Wall or Sweeping Blade (Yasuo's E). To run this more aggressive spell set, you are sacrificing some gank evasion early game.

Don't forget, Yasuo's Q is counted as an auto attack. It applies on-hit effects, including stacks of Fervor of Battle. Some players choose Warlord's Bloodlust instead, but I find that Yasuo doesn't need the sustain as often. I personally have two Yasuo pages, one with Fervor, one with Bloodlust. It all depends on lane opponents. If they are poke heavy and harass a lot, choose Bloodlust, if they are more passive and focus on all-ins, choose Fervor. If you are playing a blind pick, just go for Fervor. It just tends to be more reliable in terms of early game, and scales into late game nicely.

There are two options here. The first is the set above, which is used against any opposing laner that has a projectile early game. The second is to take a second point into E at level 3, and take W at level 4. Use the skill set above against any laner that has a projectile early game, as I stated earlier. Use the second path that I mentioned against any laner that has no projectile early game.
