This is my most comfortable Zac run page, I've found that it works well into most enemy team comps

Aftershock: it's too good to not take right now, the extra damage it puts often means the difference between life and death of the enemy I'm ganking

Demolish: typically the people I'm playing with don't take demolish themselves so I often do in their place. Towards mid/late game this is doing over 400 extra physical damage to towers, couple this with a red buff and towers actually vaporize.

Conditioning: Full AP Zac is not as viable as it once was unfortunately, the +8 Armor and MR is nice but the extra 5% that you get on top of that is actually insane after you get a couple of items on you. IMO this rune is core and should always be taken on Zac where as you can get away with changing any of the others depending on enemy team comp

Overgrowth: Be the biggest tank you can be, stacking HP on Zac is almost always a good idea as all abilities except Lets Bounce zacr.png cost a percent of your current HP
180.pngTriumph: 12% of your missing HP is restored after champion takedown (kill/assist) after a .5 second delay, very useful for remaining healthy after tower diving or getting a kill in a team fight180.png
Legend Tenacity: Gain 5% (+1.5% per Legend stack) tenacity, up to 20% with 10 stacks. Gain legend stacks for every 20 points earned up to 10 points. takedowns= 20 points, epic monsters= 20 points, large monsters= 5 points, minions = 1 point. You can get tanky by AFK farming if that's what needs to be done but this will entice you to make more ganks and get bigger for your team180.png

Passive: Cell Division zacpassive.png: Whenever Zac lands an ability Zac drops a blob, picking up a blob will restore 4% of Zac's maximum health.

zacpassive.png Second effect: Upon death Zac splits into 4 separate targetable blobs that slowly pull themselves back together after a short while Zac will revive with 10%-50% health depends on the health of the blobs. Each blob has 12% of Zac's maximum health points and 50% armor and magic resistance. Zac death blobs are coded as minions and will attract agro from towers and enemy minions, having a teammate teleport to a passive blob will save that particular blob from damage.

Q Stretching Strikes zacq.png: Zac flings his arm towards the enemy sticking to the target while applying a slow, hitting another target while the initial q proc is attached to the target will cause the two to be smacked together applying a brief knock up if they are close enough together. Casting zacq.png will use 8% of current hp, make sure to use its second proc so you are refunded the hp costs with your zacpassive.png

W Unstable Matterzacw.png:  Zac's most used ability, costs 4% hp to cast and picking up your zacpassive.png offers a 1 second cooldown reduction. Zac explodes in a small aoe damaging enemies nearby, zacpassive.png will fall towards the enemy in a kidney shaped pattern make sure the blobs are picked up to recover %max hp during fights. zacw.png monster/minion damage is capped at 200.

W Elastic Slingshotzace.png: Zac anchors himself to the ground while charging up a long range engage and then flings himself forward, at full charge Zac will knock up his target for a full second. Zac will spawn 1zacpassive.png for every enemy champion hit. zace.png is a channel ability that will be interrupted by CC or can be cancelled by moving, doing this will reduce cooldown by 50%, casting the ability costs 4% of current health

R Let's Bounce! zacr.png: Zac flattens himself for 1.1 seconds into a pool slowing enemies in the AOE before he surrounds them in a ball of slime moving them wherever you see fit. While flattened Zac is immune to all forms of CC. Enemies trapped in Zacs form are still susceptible to other forms of CC- Janna tornado, Veigar Cage, Poppy Ult

Zac should be built to be as tanky as possible against the enemy team, start with Chilling Cinderhulk and go from there. Spirit Visage is too good to pass up even into a full AD comp, the 30% increase on heals coupled with your passive makes sustainability effortless, I'd say that Visage is probably the most important item to build on Zac. After Visage, Bramble Vest into Thornmail is usually the way to go after that it's all situational. If an AD enemy is the problem start building armor, if a DOT effect AP is creating grief for the team (Cassiopia, Brand, Singed, Teemo) grab an Adaptive Helm. If you forgot to ban Lee Sin and he's camping bot lane try a Knight's Vow or Locket of the Iron Solari. The best part of Zac is how versatile his build path can be, stack HP or the correct resistances and even if your early game was terrible you'll be relevant in team fights. I try to buy at least one control ward per back if not two, make this a habit, vision control is everything in the jungle.

Zac's early game is a lot weaker than was immediately after his rework but his late game tankiness makes up for it. Right now brawler/press the attack taking junglers will probably kill you easily if they counter jungle make sure to keep wards up and be carful while engaging them you will likely need help from a laner to take them out. Zac's builds are about as fluid as he is, build for the situation you are in and you will almost always be relevant in team fights. Don't be afraid to pop your passive to secure kills, it's on a 5 minute cool down, as long as it was worth popping it's ok. Zac's death passive blobs are coded as minions, remember that when diving and remind your teammates that they can teleport to your blobs to prevent you from dying, you will respawn before the teleport goes through though so the person teleporting to you will not be there for a little over a full second after you recover from your passive. Other forms of CC can knock enemies out of your Ult i.e. Janna tornado and Veigar trap.

Blue>Wolves>Red>Gank Top if shoved/scuttle>Krugs

Blue>Wolves>Red>Scuttle>Gank Mid/Gromp

Red>Wolves>Blue>Gank Bot/scuttle

Red>Wolves>Blue>Enemy Krugs>scuttle>Gank if possible

Ganking:  Zac is one of the best repeat gankers in the game, if you gank top: for example and get a flash go clear scuttle and then return top. Kill the laner or force a back and then push the wave with your top laner. This should force a Teleport out of the enemy and will allow your top laner to simply walk back to lane with his TP intact and ideally leave him with a slightly shoved in or frozen lane. 

Counter Jungling: Zac is not as strong in the early game as he once was, however you should still attempt to counter jungle your opponent. Zac is mobile enough to get himself out of most sticky situations don't be afraid to steal a Gromp or take out the Krugs, starving out your opponent will make your tankiness harder to deal with.

My name is Sean, I didn't start seriously playing until the tail end of Season 6 although I jumped on around mid-season 5. I realized I had no idea what I was doing so I sought help from players that I considered much better than myself. I wanted to see how much I could improve so I started fresh unranked and managed to hit D3 in about 250 games.
