  • Smite is standard for Junglers
  • You also you need it to buy a jungle item.

  • Flash is also very standard on Junglers
  • You can flash into a better position to get a good ult off.

Runes Back to Top

  • 9x
+1.7% attack speed Greater Mark of Attack Speed
  • 9x
+0.16 magic resist per level Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
  • 9x
+1 armor Greater Seal of Armor
  • 1x
+4.5% attack speed Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed
  • 2x
+1.5% movement speed Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed

Greater Mark of Attack Speed:

  • I like running attack speed on my nunu jungle because it works well with his passive to give him free spells
  • I also run this because with the buff from consuming lizard buff you get more auto's off meaning you get more damage off.
  • The auto attack also helps you clear the small creeps faster so you can move on from camp to camp

Greater Seal of Armor:

  • Very Standard for junglers
  • Even though your consume gives you sustain you're still going to need the armor it provides a safer jungle clear.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist:

  • You're going to want the scaling magic resistance because you have very high HP scaling per level and you are going to be a lot tankier later game.

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed:

  • These quints paired with level 1 Blood Boil (w) you're going to move faster than almost everyone in the game even if they have +2 boots.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed:

  • Faster clear time~

Utility: 9

0/21/9

This is the current set-up for mastery points in the new jungle.  You're going to want to have 21 points in defense and 9 points in utility.  Counter jungling is very strong on the current jungle and being able to sustain the first clear gives you a very big advantage.

Defense:

  • This is a very standard 21 point defense set-up for tanky junglers.
  • Bladed armor should be a must for every jungler this patch.
  • You can move around the 3 points in Hardiness (+5 armor) and the 1 point in Reinforced armor (reduced crit damage) into Resistance (+5 magic resist) and Evasive (reduced damage from aoe magic spells)

Utility:

  • You're going to want the points in movement speed and buff duration
  • Move speed will help you get around the map and counter jungle and get wards down
  • The buff duration isn't as effective as before you get about 24 seconds more on your buffs.

Skill Order

First 3 points

  1. Q to start off the jungle
  2. E for clearing and to be safe from invades
  3. W for the extra movement speed
then

R > Q > E > W
  • You are going to use this skill order if you get ahead
  • You will be able to clear the jungle insanely quickly and you will have damage with your E
R > Q > W > E
  • This skill order can be used too if your AD carry is very far ahead this helps them kite around in team fights and you can stay back and peel for them.

3725_32.png3117_32.png
  • You should then work towards your jungle enchantment (juggernaut) and boots
  • Mobi if you are ahead
  • Swifties if they have a lot of slows
  • Ninja Tabi if they have 2 or more AD champions
  • The only time you would ever get Merc threads are when they have a heavy AP team (4 ap + corki adc)

  • Next you want to work on your core item build
  • Sightstone isn't necessary but it helps to have vision on the map
  • Get a Frozen heart if they have 3 or more AD damage champions
  • Randuins if they only have 2 AD damage champions
  • Locket if they have a heavy AP team

VS

Aatrox

Easy

  • Slow him with your E and you will win any 2v2.
  • Avoid any duels with him because he will out heal the damage you do.

VS

Amumu

Medium

  • Your damage output is about the same
  • Watch out for his Q because it will cancel your ultimate

VS

Cho'Gath

Medium

  • He has a ton of disruption to stop your ultimate
  • In a straight up 1v1 duel you will win with double buffs.

VS

Dr. Mundo

Medium

  • You will kite each other to death.
  • Watch out for cleavers if you can juke them you will win the fight
  • His damage output isn't as high as yours and he has no way to interrupt your ult
  • This is a medium match up because he is ridiculously tanky and you will not be able to kill him alone.

VS

Elise

Hard

  • This match up is 50/50 if you can catch her without her Rappel you will win the fight because she can't avoid your E and R.
  • Also watch out for her cocoon so you won't get your ultimate canceled.

VS

Evelynn

Medium

  • She can out damage you but if you can get your ult off in a good position you will be more useful than her.
  • Watch out for her W because she can completely nullify the slow from your ice blast

VS

Fiddlesticks

Hard

  • He has multiple ways to cancel your ultimate
  • You can't kill him unless he is low health to begin with
  • If he uses his Fear and Silence on you ice him and then start channeling your ultimate on top of him as he drains you

VS

Hecarim

Easy

  • Ice blast completely shuts him down
  • Wait for him to use his E and R then start using your ultimate

VS

Jarvan IV

Easy

  • You will out damage Jarvan
  • Watch for his EQ combo and hope that he traps his team in with you while you ult ^__^

VS

Kha'Zix

Easy

Counter jungle him and just ice blast if he jumps into your team and it'll make it easy for your team to kite him

VS

Lee Sin

Easy

  • With a little bit of armor you will be able to mitigate most of the damage done to you by Lee Sin
  • His kit is revolved around mobility so if you can slow him down and watch out for his ward jump + ult you will be golden

VS

Malphite

Easy

  • He only has one way to interrupt your ult so you naturally win this match up as he usually burns it to initiate on your teammate
  • His early jungle is very weak so if you abuse him early you can set him pretty far behind.

VS

Maokai

Medium

  • You will be able to out damage and win the trade
  • His ultimate will mitigate a lot of your ult damage so be careful of where you cast your ultimate

VS

Nasus

Easy

  • Kite him and you win
  • He has no way to stop your ultimate
  • Abuse his early levels in the jungle because he doesn't have much damage

VS

Nautilus

Easy

  • All you have to do is kite him and step in front of his hook so your carries are safe
  • You can out damage him if you get rid of his shield

VS

Nocturne

Medium

  • He can mitigate a lot of your damage with his W.
  • Watch out for the fear when you are channeling your ultimate
  • If he has already burnt his W you can easily kite him and keep your carries safe.

VS

Nunu

Hard

NUNU VS NUNU IMPOSSIBRU JUST CAMP ONE LANE AND HOPE HE DOESN"T COUNTER GANK

VS

Olaf

Easy

  • Olaf is easy to beat he can be kited after his ult is on cooldown
  • His kit is easily countered by Nunu

VS

Rammus

Easy

  • Slow him down and you win
  • Step in front of him and stop his powerball to keep your carries safe from his taunt

VS

Sejuani

Medium

  • She can be kited but has a lot of cc to stop your ultimate
  • Just watch out for her ult and Q then you can kite her with your ice ball and ultimate

VS

Shyvana

Easy

  • She has one interrupt ability and after that you can just kite her

VS

Skarner

Easy

  • Kite kite kite
  • Try to get all your slow off on him so he can't get to your carries
  • If you can get him to burn his ult on you then you are doing something right

VS

Trundle

Easy

  • Kite this mofo
  • You can counter his E by creating Ulting around your carries so that he can't get to them

VS

Udyr

Medium

  • Watch out for his stun after he uses it on you once you can freely channel your ult
  • Udyr is easily kitable with your ice blast

VS

Volibear

Medium

  • Kite him and watch out for his flip
  • If you can put enough slow on him and keep him away from your carries you will be fine

VS

Xin Zhao

Easy

  • Kite this motha fucka
  • After he uses his Knock up and Ult you can freely use your ultimate
  • He is easily kitable and your damage output is far greater than his

VS

Zac

Easy

  • Your damage output is a lot higher than his
  • If you get him into blob form you can consume a blob to kill him faster

Pros and Cons Back to Top

Pro:

  • Great counter jungling
  • Superb objective control
  • Great Tank scales very well into the late game
  • Kites enemies very well
  • Has decent damage throughout the game
  • Has excellent zone control

Cons:

  • If you fall behind early it takes a while to get back into the game
  • You can be kited as easily as you kite the enemies
  • If your ult is canceled mid channel you will lose a lot of potential damage and zone control

Gameplay Back to Top

Early Game:

  • You want to clear to level 3 and control the Scuttle Crabs so you have vision in the jungle and it helps you move from one side of the map to the other.
  • Keep wards out and watch for opportunities to counter jungle and take dragon
  • When counter jungling you want to leave one of the small minions so they have to come and reset the camp.

Mid Game:

  • You want to keep your pink ward on the map to control vision and help you decide where to run to and counter jungle
  • If you have the opportunity getting wards deep into their jungle helps you keep track of the enemy jungler.
  • Dragon control is imperative at this point in the game. Killing 3 dragons gives your team a massive advantage.

Late Game:

  • Late game you want to control the baron side of the map as well as the dragon
  • Having a sightstone leading into the late game is very helpful to keep track of where the enemy is.

3_64.png - AOE on top of AOE GG
8_64.png - AOE ON THE MUTHA FUCKING AOE
9_64.png - I think you get the pattern now
10_64.png - Kayle can Speed you up then Ult you as you dive the enemies.
34_64.png - Slows on top of slows on top of Aoe
32_64.png - Stack Amumu Ult on top of your Ult so you can ult freely
30_64.png - Slows enemies down and he can sit on top of you while you ult for maximum damage output
59_64.png - Jarvan can trap people inside his ultimate so you can hit multiple targets without them getting away
61_64.png - If you have the Ori ball on you, run in and give her a good ultimate
62_64.png - Wukong can ult to stop people from interrupting your ultimate
412_64.png - Thresh can use his 99% slow to stack on top of your ultimate to give you a free ult
127_64.png - Lissandra can slow people and root them down so you can catch up and stick to them
131_64.png - Diana can dive really well and can get a good aoe slow down so you can layer your ultimate on top of that or you can just dive with her
54_64.png - Malphite ultimate can set up a lot of things for your team. When he ults in you can also follow him and get a good ultimate on top of the people he hits.
