Summoner Spells Back to Top

So after trying different Summoner Spells a lot in the beginning of the new Season, this is my conclusion:

4.png Self explanatory.

HINT: Suggested Summoner Spells against Champions are only for Laning Phase!!!

Often Ignite is recommended but you need exhaust or cleanse against the enemy Team.

14.png Probably gives the most kill pressure on your lane opponent, also its the easiest to use, since cleanse needs reaction time and Exhaust needs timing. Take Ignite against Self-heal Champions, if the enemies have no real CC/Burst against you.

Champions to go Ignite against:

Le Blanc, Kayle, Lulu, Ekko, Swain, Kassadin, Karthus, Akali, Orianna, Vel'Koz, Ziggs, Azir

1.png My favorite Summoner Spell on Zed right now, it helps you to survive against CC and you can remove Ignite/Exhaust from your lane opponent.

Champions to go Cleanse against:

Lissandra, Cassiopeia, Twisted Fate, Xerath, Ahri, Ryze, Anivia, Annie, Lux

3.png Extremely strong in 1v1 scenarios, don't underestimate the bonus damage from it. Perfect against High Burst opponents.

Champions to go Exhaust against:

Talon, Fizz, Syndra, Malzahar, Kennen, Katarina, Gangplank, Brand, Yasuo

  • 9x
+1.33 health per level Greater Seal of Scaling Health
  • 9x
+1 armor Greater Seal of Armor

These are all the runes you will ever need on Zed. There are 2 main Rune Sites you want to get with Zed.

Zed 1.PNG

You want to take this Rune Site against AP Champions. While AD, Armor Pen, Health per Level and Magic Resist are pretty much self explanationary, CDR at 18 is not. You take it to have 35% CDR in the lategame, since that allows you to throw 2 Qs while having 1 Shadow up.

Zed 2.PNG

Take this Rune Site against an AD Laner. You dont need any Magic Resist in your Runes, so CDR is your Way to go. The reason why i have 6 Flat CDR Glyphs and 3 Sclaing CDR Glyphs is, that i get exactly 40% CDR with these.

Must have Masteries:

double-edged-sword.png Double-Edged Sword

Double Edged Sword is an extremely strong offensive Mastery on every Melee Assassin. It helps you to burst your targets down a lot faster. The Downside of it, that you take additional Damage too, isn't that important on Zed compared to the bonus damage.

oppressor.png Oppressor

Since your normal Zed combo right now is to use WEQ, your Lane opponent will always take more damage instead of if you have Bounty Hunter. If your Playstyle is to roam all game, Bounty Hunter can be stronger, but don't forget: Oppressor makes you strong in Lane and being able to kill your Lane Opponent can make you snowball even harder than Bounty Hunter.

wanderer.png Wanderer

Wanderer is way better than Savagery, because it gives you more lane pressure and roaming power. You don't need help to last-hit, you are Zed and you have a passive.

Assassin (No Icon found)

Assassin makes it way easier for you to get fed. Take it everytime, perfect to Split-push and perfect for Laning.

merciless.png Merciless

Merciless is perfect on Zed. You will get your enemy very often below 40% and then you want to kill him with your Ult. The bonus damage from Merciless is perfect to do that. Also what the fuck do you want with Mana Regeneration?

dangerous-game.png Dangerous Game

Despite getting gold from ally minion kills is useless on Zed, Dangerous game is very powerful. After you killed and enemy in lane, you will often have an ignite ticking on you. Having Dangerous Game will help you to survive and grow a stronger lead. Also its pretty broken in Team-fights for obvious reasons.

precision.png Precision

Flat Armor Penetration is broken on Assassins, since it gives LOTS OF damage against squishy targets, which makes it, at least on Zed, way stronger than Battering Blows too. Further you don't really need to have more CDR.

thunderlords-decree.png Thunderlord's Decree

Thunderlord's Decree gives you the highest possible amount of Burst Damage you can possibly get out of all masteries. It will proc basically every time you hit your enemy with you normal Poke combo. This Burst combined with a possible back-swap to your Living Shadow can easily get you kills. The meta right now is all about snowballing from the early-game. Thunderlord's Decree is perfect for that.

Preferable Masteries

These are mainly my own preferations, but the other mastery is possible too.

fury.png > sorcery.png

(Fury > Sorcery)

I prefer Fury above Sorcery, because its stronger in most stages of the game. It helps you to last-hit easier early into the game and gives way more damage in the late-game, since Attack Speed helps Zed to stay relevant even after using his spells.

vampirism.png > natural-talent.png

(Vampirism > Natural Talent)

The stats Natural Talent gives are basically non-existent. 10 AD at level 18? That is nothing. Having a bit Spellvamp and Life-steal instead helps Zed way more.

Passive:

Contempt_for_the_Weak.png Contempt for the Weak

Zed's basic attacks against targets below 50% health deal 6/8/10% of the target's maximum health as bonus magic damage.

This effect can only occur on the same target once every 10 seconds.

Tips 'n Tricks:

1) 20px-Contempt_for_the_Weak.webpContempt for the Weak does NOT proc on turrets.
2) 20px-Contempt_for_the_Weak.webpContempt for the Weak DOES proc on minions, It helps you to last-hit under the turret. It also helps you to clear Jungle Camps faster.
2.1) Important Note here: If you are level 1 and your turret attacks the Caster Minions 1 time, you won't kill them with your AA.
3) If you poke your lane Opponent in lane, try to AA him 1 time, This gives you a lot of damage, which most Champions cant trade back.
4) Most Lane Opponents wont expect your burst when you hit this skill and a full Poke combo. Often you can one-shot them from level 3 on with ignite, when they have about 50% HP.
5) 20px-Contempt_for_the_Weak.webpContempt for the Weak ranks up at level 1/7/17 so waiting until level 7 could be useful before engaging.

Q:

Razor_Shuriken.png Razor Shuriken

Range: 900     Cost: 75/70/65/60/55 Energy     Cooldown: 6 Seconds

Active:

Zed and his shadows throw his spinning blades forward, dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+ 100% Bonus AD) physical damage to the first enemy they pass through and 60% damage to enemies thereafter.

Every further Shuriken that hits the target deals 50% of the Damage.

Tips 'n Tricks:

1) That's your main Damage Spell. Max 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken first.
2) Use 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken to last-hit safely from range.
3) Spell-shields and 20px-Banshee%27s_Veil_item.pngBanshee's Veil block only 1 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken, when you throw more cause of Shadows.
4) 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken has a cast time, so remember this while using.
5) You hear a sound when 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken hits an enemy in the fog of war, so always check bushes with it.
6) Use 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken as your main poking tool.
7) Try to hit your opponent too, after CSing with 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shuriken.
8) With 35% CDR, you can throw 2 20px-Razor_Shuriken.webpRazor Shurikens, while having 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow active.

W:

Living_Shadow.png Living Shadow

Range: 550     Cost: 40/35/30/25/20 Energy     Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 Seconds

Passive:

Zed's bonus attack damage is increased by 5/10/15/20/25%

Zed's Shadows mimic all of his abilities. Hitting a target twice with one ability restores 20/25/30/35/40 Energy.

Active:

Zed throws a shadow in a targeted direction, remaining in place for 4 seconds. Reactivating 20px-Living_Shadow.pngLiving Shadow will cause Zed to sap places with this shadow.

Tips 'n Tricks:

1) Max 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow last. It doesn't give you a lot of bonus damage.
2) With activating and reactivating 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow fast, you can easily dodge skills.
3) Placing 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow grants you vision of the area.
4) Use 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow to pass Walls.
5) You need to be in X range of your 20px-Living_Shadow.pngLiving Shadow to be able to reactivate it. Don't now the number.
6) If you mimic your Spells with 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow, you restore a certain amount of Energy, when you hit that spell 2 times.

E:

Shadow_Slash.png Shadow Slash

Range: 290     Cost: 50 Energy     Cooldown: 4 Seconds

Active:

Zed spins his blades, creating a burst of shadow energy and dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 80% Bonus AD) physical damage to nearby enemies. Each enemy champion hit reduces 20px-Living_Shadow.webpLiving Shadow's Cooldown by 2 seconds.

Mimicked 20px-Shadow_Slash.webpShadow Slash slows nearby enemies for 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.5 seconds. Enemies hit by both
20px-Shadow_Slash.webpShadow Slash's are slowed for 30/27.5/45/52.5/60% for 1.5 seconds, but don't take additional damage.

Tips 'n Tricks:

1) Max 20px-Shadow_Slash.webpShadow Slash second. It grants you the second highest burst of all, non-ultimate skills, Zed has.
2) When running away from enemies, use your 20px-Living_Shadow.pngLiving shadow and 20px-Shadow_Slash.pngShadow Slash immediately after reactivating, to bring the highest possible distance between you and your enemy. Always try to hit as many enemies, as you can, for maximum energy restorage and Cooldown reduction on your 20px-Living_Shadow.pngLiving Shadow.
3) 20px-Shadow_Slash.pngShadow Slash has no cast time, casting doesn't interrupt moving or basic attacks.

R:

Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark

Range: 625     Cost: None     Cooldown: 120/100/80

Active:

Zed becomes untargetable for 0.75 seconds and dashes behind the targeted enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks the target for death, ignores unit collision, and spawns a shadow that lasts for 6 seconds at the cast location. After 1 second you can reactivate 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark and it will cause Zed to swap places with this shadow .

After 3 seconds 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark will trigger, dealing 100% AD physical damage plus 30/40/50% of all physical and magic damage dealt to the marked champion while it was active.

Tips 'n Tricks:

1) Level 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark at level 6/11/16.
2) Spell-shields and 20px-Banshee%27s_Veil_item.pngBanshee's Veil will block the entire Spell, so try to bait/proc them before using
 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark.
3) Zed can blink to his 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark Shadow from any range.
4) If the target dies before Zed reaches the target (while he's untargetable for 0.75 seconds) 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark has a 5 seconds Cooldown.
5) 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark can be removed by 20px-Quicksilver_Sash_item.pngQuicksilver Sash. It can also be prevented by becoming untargetable before Zed reaches the target. It can NOT be removed by 20px-Cleanse.pngCleanse.
6) 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Marks Shadow functions the same as 20px-Living_Shadow.pngLiving Shadow for ability cast.
7) 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Marks Bonus damage is calculated from all abilities, items and buffs. True damage do NOT count in.
8) If 20px-Death_Mark.pngDeath Mark Damage is enough to kill your target, a Shuriken will appear above your target. (Bugged right now)

Skill Order:

1) Max R > Q > E > W
2) Always start with Q. It helps you to poke level 1 and CS better.
3) 90% of the time, you take W level 2. It helps you to stay safe from ganks, and grants better ranged poke.
3.1) If you get pushed into the tower really fast, take E level 2. The enemy jungler can't gank you anyways and if you poke you lose CS.
3.2) Against melee matchups, taking E often helps too.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Standart Starting Items
Start with an Refillable Potion in Easy matchups

Core Items

Get these 2 items first, Serrated Dirks Armor Penetration is great for poke, while its passive is good on All-Ins when used right. Cutlass gives a good amount of Burst with its active and sustain to clear jungle camps.
Finish Youmuus now, 20 Armor Pen. + 65 AD is insanely good for Assassins. Also the catch Potential from its active is great. I personally still like BotrK, it makes Zed way smoother, better against Tanks, gives immense dueling Potential with its Active, some Sustain for longer Teamfights, Splitpush Potential and makes him strong in longer fights without being only skill based.
Get a Hexdrinker early when you need it. I usually upgrade it after BotrK, the Bonus Armor Penetration is really good.
Very good Item vs. Tanks, gives CDR and a bit Tankyness. Also Movespeed to chase your enemies down is always great.
I recommend getting one of these last, QsS and LW can be bought earlier if needed.

Situational Items

Infinity Edge gives you so much damage combined with Phantom dancer. Get it when you dont need Last Whisper because the enemies have no Tank.
you dont really need them when you have Phantom Dancer and Deaths Dance. If you want to buy them anyways, cause you are an unexperienced Zed go for it.
I usually upgrade Boots last right now.
Funny Items to have more Burst. Woks well with IE. Statikks is better for Teamfighting, Rapid Firecannon and Trinity are better for Splitpushing. Trinity when ahead, Rapid Firecannon when not.
Very strong Item when the enemies have lots of burst.
I don't like this Item at all on Zed, look Comments for informations.

Suggested Item Build:

Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > Blade > Black Cleaver > Qss > Sterraks > Mercurials Scimitar

Core Items

3142.png Youmuus Ghostblade

The new Youmuus gives a lot of, for Zed great, stats. Since Crit got removed Youmuus got a lot of AD which is a way better stat on Zed. Finishing Youmuus early gives a huge damage boost, also the increased catch potential from the Active is nice.

3153.png Blade of the Ruined King

BotrK has so many benefits on Zed that i don't understand why some Zed players don't get it anymore.
It gives:

+ Splitpush potential
+ Damage vs. Tanks
+ Sustain
+ Catch potential
+ Usefulness without skills

3156.png Maw of Malmortius

Maw of Malmortius is a great Item in difficult match-ups and against comps with heavy AP threats like Elise Jungle, Le Blanc Mid-lane and Corki Adc. This Item got heavily buffed in Season 6, its way more worth it to actually finish your Hexdrinker to an Maw of Malmortius than before, because the new bonus stats are very strong when you get below 30% HP and 10 Armor Penetration makes you incredible strong.

3071.png Black Cleaver

Insanely strong Item on Zed, perfect for dueling Tanks. CDR and Tankyness are always great, The AD is good and Armor Shred is really strong if you want to kill Tanks and Squishys. Also its other Passive is really good to chase people down.

3139.png Mercurials Scimitar

Zed's biggest weakness, besides you will mostly have a full AD comp, is CC. If you will get CCed all your great mobility will be useless. To unlock Zeds Full Potential you want to get Mercurials, so you can Outplay your enemies. Its insanely strong against lock-down comps like Top-lane Lissandra, Mid-lane Kennen and Support Leona.
(Buy Quicksilver Sash first, Upgrading into Mercurials should be the last thing you do.)

3036.png / 3033.png Lord Dominik's Regards / Mortal Reminder

If Black Cleaver is not enough, because the enemy Team is extremely tanky, go for one of these, as long as you don't need QsS.

Defensive Situational Items

3102.png / 3026.png Banshee's Veil / Guardian Angel

These two Items are very good for inexperienced Zed player, who don't know yet how to play out Team-fights. If you played him a bit more, especially with the new Semi-Defensive Death's Dance and Phantom Dancer, you don't really need them anymore.

3053.png Sterak's Gage

Sterak's is an incredible strong Item against High Burst compositions, since you can make a full use of its passive shield.

Offensive Situational Items

3031.png Infinity Edge

Infinity is, especially combined with Phantom Dancer, an extremely strong Item to burst down Squishes. It gives the biggest possible Damage Spike you can get, besides Youmuus, when you already have a bit Crit. If you are snowballing and/or don't need Mercurials/Last Whisper get it.

3078.png Trinity Force

You can buy Trinity when you are very far ahead, because if not, it costs to much. Its very strong to Split-push because of its passive, so you can destroy turrets fast. Also its more an early-game item, since the bonus damage it gives isn't really scaling. Works pretty good with Sterak's Gage.

3094.png Rapid Firecannon

Rapid Fire Cannon's Passive can proc on turrets which makes it very good to Split-push. It gives a lot bonus magic damage burst and some Attack Speed and Crit. Overall its great Item. Get this when you aren't fed like hell and can't afford Trinity Force. CARE! You don't get bonus Attack Range from it as Zed.

3087.png Statikk's Shiv

Statikk's is the Team-fight version of Rapid Firecannon. If you like having some Crit and you are in a Team-fight focused game. The AOE damage from Statikk's is great in these scenarios.

3074.png Ravenous Hydra

Hydra can be a strong Item in All-Squishy games, where you can burst a huge amount of enemies down, by using its active, one Auto-Attack and your Spells. It gets useless when the enemies getting Tankier, because Attack Speed would be way more efficient.

3072.png The Bloodthirster

Only get Bloodthirster when you already have some Attack Speed, else you won't be able to get significant Life-steal out of this Item. It's pretty good in extended fights though.

3147.png Duskblade of Draktharr

Because a lot people are asking me about this Item here is my Input:

I think we can all agree, that it is a snowball Item on Zed. Youmuus Earlygame gives just more mobility and damage to ignore it. If you are not Snowballing, you can't take it. If you are, there is absolutely no reason to take it, because you don't need more damage. Youmuus itself is enough when you are fed. I would rather go BotrK now to be able to catch up to every enemy and make more out of your Snowball. Rather get 2 people 99% sure because of extra movespeed than 1 500% sure. Of course you could build it now. But because you are Snowballing, they will probably build Armor, so you should get a Black Cleaver. Not only it gives you the Armor Pen, also CDR is great to Snowball and a bit tankyness is always good.

Boots

3047.png Ninja-Tabi

Ninja-Tabis are very good in losing lanes against AD opponents like Yasuo or Talon.

3111.png Mercury's Treads

Mercury's are very strong against high CC compositions on Low Cooldown comps, since against High Cooldown CC comps you can just take Quicksilver Sash.

VS

Ahri

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK
2) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK > Maw of Malmortius

Early Game (Level 1-6):

You are stronger than her Pre-6 so try to get a lead. If you go All-In on her try to dodge one of her Spells, at best her Charm. Slow her first with Shadow E and follow after it, so you can stick to her. Wait until her Q is out, so she doesn't get increased Movement-speed and kites you out.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You can bully her now, when you got an Early-game lead. If not you have to Dodge her Charme while fighting. Its pretty difficult to Hit your Qs on a good Ahri, so wait until she used one of her Ult stacks and throw them immediately after. When she gets an early Zhonya's try to Roam a lot.

Late Game:

Ahri will try to jump into your Back-line and kill your Adc. Try to burst her down when she tries that, without Ult. she will use her Zhonya's immediately. After that you can aim to kill her, or to burst down the enemy Adc by yourself.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Akali

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > Maw of Malmortius > BotrK
2) Maw of Malmortius > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Don't get in her melee range, since she can easily outtrade you by procing her Q onto you. Try to get a gank from your jungler after she used her W to make herself invisible and able to farm safely, she should be easy to kill. Only thing you can do is poking her and push for an earlier level 6.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Akali needs to, after getting 6, regenerate stacks on her Ult to make it most efficient. When you fight her while she only has one, you should definitely win. Just care of her Ult, she can dodge your Q when she ults through you.

Late Game:

She has Zhonya's right now and is the absolute horror of every Squishy, since her burst damage is retarded. try to defend your Adc from her and get a Mortal Reminder since her Self-heal is incredible by now.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Anivia

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK > Maw of Malmortius
2) Maw of Malmortius > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Anivia's burst damage when hitting her E after her Q is extremely high. Try to dodge it everytime you can, using W is worth it to do that. When she used her Q onto you, try to engage hard, she is very squishy and can't do shit against you.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

The main advantage she gets, after becoming level 6 is a lot of pushing power. Ask your jungler to contest the enemy blue buff, so she can't perma push. When you dodge her Q, you should be able to kill her or force Passive. its definitely worth it, since you just can ult her 90 seconds after, while her egg got 300 seconds Cooldown.

Late Game:

Anivia is very scary in Team-fights because of her AoE potential combined with her burst damage. Try to focus her out.

Other Tips:

Never underestimate her Damage, even without having any Items at all she does a lot of damage.

VS

Annie

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > Maw of Malmortius > BotrK
2) Maw of Malmortius > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Annie is way weaker early than you. You can just fight her all the time. Care for Stun, when she uses it you should immediately engage, she cant do anything against you.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You are still stronger in 1v1 scenarios than her. Care of her roaming when she gets mobility boots and try to get fed of your Bot-lane. When you have Hexdrinker she shouldn't be able to kill you at all, your burst is stronger. Try to anticipate her flash and ult her immediately after, so all her burst disappears.

Late Game:

That's the reason why i consider Annie a medium matchup. Her AoE Team-fight damage is very huge and the stun on top of it is simply disgusting.

Other Tips:

When you need it get a QsS.

VS

Azir

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK
2) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

The only thing Azir has in Lane is some poke. everytime he uses his Q he is defenseless, so try to punish him for that.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You are way stronger than him level 6, and all your gapcloser don't give a fuck about his ult. It's pretty easy to get a kill against him.

Late Game:

Azir's strength is his insane damage in Team-fight, but since he doesn't have real CC and Adcs usually don't have too, it shouldn't be to difficult for you to kill both of them or at least do significant damage.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Brand

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Brand will try to poke you with his skills, but he is mainly skillshot based, so once he used his cooldowns you can fight him pretty easily.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

His stun is based on having his passive on you, so you always have a bit time after ulting him, before he can stun you. You should be able to dodge his skillshots pretty easy. Care when your jungler ganks, because the bouncing ult combined with E and W can easily kill both of you.

Late Game:

Its very important to focus Brand down fast in the late-game, because of his insane AoE damage.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Cassiopeia

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Cutlass > Serrated Dirk > BotrK > Youmuus
2) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Her Level 2 powerspike is extremely strong, play very defensively at level 1 and 2. After level 3, when she fails her poison, you can engage her, since she wont be able to trade any damage back.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

When fighting her you should always have another Shadow/Flash ready to change positions

Late Game:

Cassiopeia works like an Adc, so your target should be either Cassiopeia or the Adc, dependent on who is more fed.

Other Tips:

- Try to keep up Vision, so you won't get surprised by an Ult-Flash by her in Team-fights.

VS

Cho'Gath

Hard

Dodge.

VS

Diana

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

You are both melee and can poke a bit Pre-6. Since you are Energy based and she isn't, try to poke her as often as possible, but don't straight up fight her, since she can outtrade you very easy with her Shield.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

When you dodge her Q, with Ult or not, you can All-In her very easy. If she wastes her Shield you are stronger than her too, but care for her burst it can be ridiculous. She will rush Zhonya's, so you should try getting kills with Roaming.

Late Game:

She falls down a bit in the late-game and you are stronger than her, when you can play around her Zhonya's in a 1v1. Since her burst is relatively high, you should protect your Adc first from her, and go on the enemy Carry after.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Ekko

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Cutlass > Serrated Dirk > Youmuus > BotrK
2) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Ekko is really strong when he gets his third passive Proc on you, try to avoid that and play safe, while concentrating on poking and farming.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Ekko can cancel your Ultimate with his Ultimate, so care when you Ult. You outtrade him in longer fights, his biggest damage is, when he gets his third passive Proc on you, after that you are stronger.

Late Game:

He can deal insane damage in the later stages of the game, while having an easy escape. You can't do much against Him, because he has an easy escape, so try to focus on their Adc.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Fizz

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK
2) Maw of Malmortius > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Fizz is pretty Weak Pre-6 compared to you. Take your E level 2 and everytime he tries to CS, poke him hard with Q + E + AA, so you proc Thunderlords.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Fizz can Dodge your Ult with his E, you have to bait his E, before you can All-In him. when he lands Ult on you on the other hand, you are dead. You HAVE to dodge this Spell.

Late Game:

Fizz has extremely High Damage Potential and incredible mobility. You have to kill him when his CD goes off, else he will take you whole Team out.

Other Tips:

You can Flash his Q, so when he has Lich Bane, its definitely worth to so this, especially cause most Fizz players will throw their Shark Mid-Q Animation.

VS

Gangplank

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Gangplank only wants to farm safely early game, you can poke him down easily. Try to care of his barrels, they aren't difficult to dodge, so they should be no problem.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You can All_In him easily, he has no real threat. Care a bit for his Ult, it does a lot damage. Also when he Ults another lane, just kill him.

Late Game:

His barrels will do insane Damage now, always keep warded where you go, if you dont want a 1.5k Damage Crit in your face.

Other Tips:

Get Blue Trinket to Prevent GP from trapping you

VS

Karthus

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Care of his Poke level 1 and 2, after that you should be able to trade him easily.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Kill Him. When he casts his Ult, Go All-In against him, since he cant fight you then.

Late Game:

Karthus has very high damage. You can take him out very easy, but his passive will keep attacking your Team. Try to kill him, when hes out of position, so his passive is useless.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Kassadin

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > BotrK > Youmuus

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Kassadin is an Anti-Mage, so as Zed, you can outpressure him very easy. Try to force trades after Kassadin uses his W on a minion, your damage is way higher.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Kassadin can't afford buying early armor, because he wants to get RoA as early as possible. It should be pretty easy for you to kill him, when you use your Shadows to Gapclose after he ulted.

Late Game:

This is the time when Kassadin is strong. Despite him being strong, you can pressure him further after he jumped in.

Other Tips:

Kassadin can jump every second in the lategame, so ffs don't chase him.

VS

Katarina

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK
2) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Her only Poke tool is her Q and it does no Damage at all. you can poke her way harder, try to care for her Q Proc with W, never get this close to her.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Your level 6 Burst is stronger than hers, Fight her. Always keep the lane Pushed, so Katarina can't roam and get fed off killing your Botlane all the time.

Late Game:

Kill her! If not she will destroy your whole Team in a few seconds.

Other Tips:

Don't greed for Baron when Katarina is up, she will kill you all.

VS

Kayle

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > BotrK > Youmuus
2) Hexdrinker > Serrated Dirk > BotrK > Youmuus

Early Game (Level 1-6):

You are definitely stronger than Kayle in these levels, try not to get hit by her AAs, so stay behind your minions and farm with Q. If you can get a Poke combo on her, don't go in, unless she used her Q earlier, then she is very free to kill.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You want to get an early Blade to counter Sustain against her and chase her after engaging. You want to engage against her with Ult at level 6, place Shadow behind her, wait till her Invincibility is gone, then E (to slow), W, Q, AA. You are stronger than her in 1v1s, if you play it this way.

Late Game:

You want to wait until Kayle wastes her Ult on an Teammember, then you can engage for free and destroy enemy team.

Other Tips:

-

VS

LeBlanc

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Le Blanc will waste a lot mana when she tries to poke you down. Try to swap to your Shadow, when she jumps on you. At level 4+ you should be stronger than her, dont get hit by that chain, else she will kite you to death.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Your Level 6 is stronger, as long as you can dodge her Q/Ult Proc. Don't get hit by one chain, else she will hit a double Chain and kill you. Ignite her shortly before her passive pops up, so you can decide which one is the real clone.

Late Game:

Le Blanc falls in the late-game, but she can still oneshot someone extremely fast.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Lissandra

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Lissandra has really high mana costs, if she spams her spells, so you can wait a bit and then outpoke her/engage her. You are stronger then her early, just always keep in mind not to stay between her and minions.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

After 6 you should always ward, with her ult she got a lot of kill pressure. If you took Cleanse, you can easily turnaround for an kill they don't expect. If you 1v1 her, you win when she ults you and lose when she ults herself.

Late Game:

You can't kill this bitch, so look for the Adc. Get a QsS and ignore her.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Lulu

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Lulu got a lot of poke Pre-6, but your All-In is stronger. If you can poke her down a bit, you can hard engage on her and easily kill her.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Yes she has her Ult. Yes she has her Shield. Yes she has her WW which transforms you. But don't be overscared of her. She is extremely Squishy and got no Armor, after poking her down a bit, you can easily engage on her.

Late Game:

This is the part of the game where Lulu start getting annoying. if she Ults the Adc, it can get pretty difficult to kill him. The best way to avoid this is, to Splitpush.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Lux

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Lux will perma Push normally in Lane, you need to push against it, else she will poke you down under turret. Don't stay in the minions, when you poke her with WEQ, swap to W and go to the right or the left, so her stun will miss. You can easily make here low now.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Lux's Burst is immense, you should push fast and keep the River warded, so she can't Ult on Sidelanes. In a 1v1 you can easily kill her, as long as you can dodge her Snare. Try to bait out her Shield with a WEQ, then Swap to your W, Dodge her Snare with your Ult and kill her.

Late Game:

Lux will always stay far in the backline and poke. If she hits someone in your Team with a snare, he is dead so try to engage fast.

Other Tips:

Get an QsS.

VS

Nocturne

Hard

Thats me. Feed me.

VS

Orianna

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Serrated Dirk > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

You can just outtrade her after level 3/4, you should win any All In. Try to poke when she just used Q away from her, so she can't shield part of the damage.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

You can easily dodge her Ult, when you manage this, just kill her. Her damage is far lower than yours. Try to poke, when she can't shield, usually she will try to shield anyways, wait until its gone, then hardengage.

Late Game:

Oriannas strength are Teamfights, her AoE damage in the lategame is pretty insane, she has also a lot consistent damage cause of her low Q CD. Try to take her out first, unless the adc is an Hypercarry. If she uses her Ult Adc is an bigger priority, if she hasn't yet, go on her.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Swain

Medium

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK > Maw of Malmortius
2) Hexdrinker > Maw of Malmortius > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

Swain got a lot of Singletarget damage, his E > Q Poke combo is really strong. Try to stay away from him and hit some safe poke. You can freely back off when you are too low, Swain has no possibilities to push a wavee.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

With Ignite you should win an All-In, just make sure to really ALL-IN him, else he will just sustain up again and you are fucked. Ignite him early, so you can lower his complete healing over time and don't fight when your minions are up, because he will just heal more. Try to dodge his W, which should be easy.

Late Game:

Swain will just walk into your Team with Ult and Zhonyas. You can't really do much against it, get an Mortal Reminder, attack him once, then go onto the Adc.

Other Tips:

VS

Syndra

Easy

Suggested Items:

1) Hexdrinker > Youmuus > BotrK > Maw of Malmortius
2) Hexdrinker > Maw of Malmortius > Cutlass > Youmuus > BotrK

Early Game (Level 1-6):

level 1 - 3 she will try to poke you as much as possible, and shes stronger in these levels than you, so win the matchup by playing passive. After 3 you can just outpoke her and outtrade her with going all-in. You can zone her hard after you poked her a bit.

Mid Game (Level 6+):

Syndra has a lot of burst damage, get an Hexdrinker as fast as possible, else she will just kill you. Early Maw can be possible too if you still have trouble, afterwards you should be ahead in this matchup.

Late Game:

Syndra got a lot of AoE damage and a lot Single Target Burst, on the other hand she is pretty squishy and has no mobility. Just go on her without Ult and when she uses Zhonyas, Ult the Adc.

Other Tips:

-

VS

Talon

Medium

Talon is pretty hard Post-6, Fight him before it.

VS

Twisted Fate

Easy

Fight him everytime you can, hes pretty squishy. Ward the enemy jungle alot so he cant roam.

VS

Veigar

Easy

Its Veigar. Kill him.

VS

Vel'Koz

Easy

Youc ounter him pretty hard, dont be afraid to go in at 6 even if you are low, you easily can dodge everything. Your Ult will place you behind him when he ults so its pretty easy to win fights.

VS

Viktor

Medium

Get early Boots so you can dodge his laser. All In him as fast as you can or he will poke you down. Get a Hexdrinker.

VS

Vladimir

Easy

You have to play very aggressive early. Dont get to the point when he has basicly endless sustain. He so weak before, it should be easy to pressure him. Get a Hexdrinker.

VS

Yasuo

Medium

Play very safe level 1 and 2. After that you can poke him and do little trades. At level 6 he should All In him you are stronger than him.
