Summoner Spells
Back to Top ▲Teleport and Flash are my standard summoner spells.
Teleport allows me to recall for items when necessary and get back to lane in a flash without losing time for farm. It also sets up for nice ganks to follow up on an ult, or maybe even splitpushing or base racing.
Flash is helpful on every champion, so there really is no need for me to explain this. Flash lets you either get out of sticky situations, or maybe to surprise your opponent. Read Author Notes

The wall should be taken at 4 because the jungler will not be ganking before that point unless they are being risky, and you shouldn't be trying to go in for a kill that early either.

Core
Situational
First items
Starting off with Sapphire Crystal
and a few pots
allows you to start with more mana, and you can farm easier and stay in lane until around level 4-6. At this point where you either run out of mana or die to a gank, you get the Tear of the Goddess
. Depending on your farm, you should have enough gold to get Tear, Boots
, and Flask
. If you can't get flask, a couple pots and a ward or two is advisable.Revisit the shop
Next time or you visit the shop, you should standardly grab a Catalyst
, and get a Blasting Wand
as soon as possible so you can actually start to have damage. With the wand, you generally want to upgrade to Rod of Ages

, which will turn your massive mana pool into considerable ability power(With a RoA+AA, the passive on Archangels should give around 70 ap). After your Archangels is stacked fully, it turns into Sereph's Embrace
which adds an active to the item which drains some mana to create a sheild. This is great for engaging, as you will soak up a lot more damage then the enemy may realize.

Now you need to get some serious amounts of Ability Power and get a Rabadon's Deathcap

gives a little health, AP, and penetration. This item also makes your abilities burn the foe for percentage damage, making it a scary item for your enemies, especially tanks.

This is good to get at first if you find yourself laning against an Attack Damage assassin like Zed

Void Staff gives you Magic Penetration and lets you do a lot more damage with Requiem, and your abilities in general. This would be good if you want to build glass canon and do tons of damage. It also helps your abilities do damage to enemy tanks who have build magic resist.
At any point where you feel that you are obliterating the enemy team without dying much yourself, getting a Mejais Soulstealer is a good choice. Should you feel later that your stacks are going down too much to be worth it, it can easily be sold for another item. 
Abyssal Scepter gives Magic Resist and reduces the enemy's magic resist. This is good if most of the enemy deals magic damage, and also helps your defile and lay waste do more damage in a teamfight. is good if you find yourself getting poked and buying a lot of pots. It lets you stop worrying about buying pots, and just refreshes when you go to the shop automatically. Read Author Notes
