Summoner Spells Back to Top

  • This is my first guide so I don't know how to do all that fancy stuff that people know how to do. What i do know however is Lee Sin.  Lee Sin is a melee bruiser who has an extremely strong early game. He is also a incredibly fun champion to play whom pretty much never gets old no matter how many times you play him. He has no hard counters, is viable in high level play, and has incredible mobility.

WHY LANER LEE SIN ?

  • Lee Sin has a super strong early game and a weak late game. It would be dumb not to abuse that. Top lane gives him more gold and more of a chance to abuse this early game. The reason i don't like him in the jungle is because if  Lee Sin fails at a gank or two he will generaly fall behind, and when  Lee Sin falls behind he doesn't exactly catch back up. Pretty much wasting his strong early game. Not only that but  Lee Sin can beat pretty much any champion on top when you get good at him.

  • 3x
+2.25 attack damage Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
3 Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage  --  You want the strongest early game possible and these runes will boost that significantly.

9 Greater Mark of Attack Damage  --  To raise your early game damage as well.

9 Greater Seal of Armor  --  When you top lane your most likely going to fight and AD champion. Taking armor seals will improve your survivability against these champions significantly.

9 Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist  --  If your not fighting an AP top these are the better choice as they scale into late game better.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

    Easy laning phase
    Normal start
Recommended if you are facing an ad type of champ.

Core Items

    Early/Mid game items.
Boots choice depends on what type of champion you are playing against, so if it is an AP laner with heavy CC you better go for Mecurys. If the enemy laner is an Ad tYPE OF CHAMP you should buy Ninja Tabi. REMEMBER, IT ALL dEPENdS ON WHAT TYPE OF CHAMPION YOU ARE FACING!
    defensive build.
    Offensive build.
balanced build. This build gives you a lot of health, armor and dmg output. You can also replace the bloodthirster with maw of malmortius if you need more magic resist versus bursty ap carries like leblanc, lux etc. or even with mercurial for a lot of MR and cc re.

Situational Items

Versus heavy ap burst damage buy Maw of Malmortius.
If the enemy team is building a lot of armor buy last whisper for good armor pen. and pretty decent Ad.
Warmogs is always a good choice if you are building your lee sin more as a sustain oftank then dmg.
IF YOU WANT TO BUILd YOURSELF TANKY I HIGHLY RECOMMENd Randuin's Omen.
    For armor and health.
    Tons of dmg.

  • Ahri

  • Akali
    Easy
  • Brand
    Easy
  • Darius
    Hard

VS

Ahri

Medium

Ahri is a skill-shot based champion, so if you are laning against that type of champs you'll need enough mobility to dodge all the skill-shots that they are throwing at you. In that case your starting item choice gotta be boots and 3 health pots > 1001_32.png and 3x 2003_32.png

You can also use your "W" (Safe Guard - dashing spell) to dodge her "E" (taunting spell, charm) because if she lands her charm she'll probably land all her combo E>W>Q which can really be devastating for you. Remember, bea really aware of your lane control and don't do anything stupid.

VS

Akali

Easy

"Akali" should not be a problem at all but watch out when she reaches level 6! At level 6 akali has an extreme amount of burst dmg and if you are not building enough magic resist to stop her you gonna be in a real trouble. So my recommendation is to use your E to reveal her position if she pops-up her W, this will really help you out.

VS

Brand

Easy

This is an easy matchup just try to avoid being hitted by his stun combo (E>Q or W>Q) and you will be just fine against. He has an extreme amount of burst damage on 6 lvl so be really aware of that!

VS

Darius

Hard

Darius is overwhelmingly strong on lane! He just literary owns almost everybody on lane but what can help you versus Darius is maxing your "W" first, building a lot of health and armor and playing really defensive under turret. Darius has extremely strong early game so don't try to engage him after level 6 if your jungler is not around ready for a gank. Darius will probably use Decimate as his main harassment weapon which means that you gotta dodge that spell at any cost otherwise you gonna be really damaged. Make sure that you have the enough amount of money to buy 3047_32.png,1011_32.png,3x2003_32.png this will give you a lot of sustain vs Darius.

            Cost: 30 energy

Skill Combinations Back to Top

  • Harassment combo:
Q>Q>AA>AA>E>W ( if you dont need to w away dont, but this will drain your energy pool hard so be careful, Try to fit in 1 auto attack at least otherwise the energy cost might be too much)
  • Your Most used damage oriented Combo:
Q>(ignite if possible)>R>Q
  • If they are up against a wall and you can kick them without making them go over it :
Q>E>(Ignite if possible>R>Q
  • Escape Mechanics:
E>W>E ( Will slow them while you are headed away from them )
Q>Q>W ( If you are near any jungle camps such as wraiths)
  • Advanced escapes:
Ward>E>W>E ( Place your ward over a wall or as far as you can jump to it slow them then run )
  • Impossible Escapes:
Flash>ward>W ( Q>Q to any nerby jungle camps if possible ) Just as stated you are almost impossible to catch.

These arent all of the combo's you are capable of but be careful when trying to execute them as always map awareness is key!
