Summoner Spells Back to Top

You will never need anything else, since the most important thing for you as Evelynn jungle is smiting things and flashing in or out of fights. Ignite is not a viable choice, in my honest opinion, since it's true that you have more killing potential early on, but you lose a lot of mid/late game potential without your flash making you able to step trough walls to ult someone low or to steal drakes/barons, or even as a gap closer for fast and mobile carries/supports.

New Runes Back to Top

Runes are personal in this meta. You should try to find your runes that fit your own gamestyle, but if you wanna be a killing and valuable Eve (Like me!), you should try mine!

In order:

Electrocute.png?width=32 (i didn't quit calling it "Thunderlord") This is the most fitting rune at the moment, since it gives you the burst you need to kill your target in all the moments of the game.
Even if the cooldown is high early on, it won't be a problem, since you are not gonna need it that often.

Here the choice is questionable, but:
cheap%20shot1.png?width=32 Gives more early damage, since gives true damage every 4 seconds on your target, but you are gonna be able to slow/taunt targets only once x14 seconds on your own (or in case with a red buff on) so if you don't have other characters in your team that can help you controlling people early on, than you might want to change your mind and take Sudden%20Impact.png?width=32. Sudden Impact will be valuable every time you get stealthed, since your evelynne.png will become Empowered and you will dash onto your target instead of just hitting it. It will give you a little bit more damage on your spells and on your Elettrocute so it's the most valuable mid/late game choice.

Here you have to figure out what to pick according to your team and the other:
If you are not first pick and you feel confident enough with Eve you should take Eyeball%20Collection.png?width=32, since it gives you A LOT of ap at the end of the 20 stacks, but If you are first pick, you will probably be countered with stupid early champions like: 121.png 64.png 107.png (EWWWWW EARLY CHAMPIONS!) They will invade for sure at your second buff, so ask for as much help and wards as you can from your teammates, because you will probably be in trouble if they do invade for real and if they keep the lead up with invades you will be not getting out that easily so you might want to take  Ghost%20Poro.png?width=32 in order to place it in the bush near your second buff (The bush near the river) to spot the enemy jungler in case of invade. (You could even just put your trinket there, but i personally prefer holding the trinket for warding the tribush when i gank in case of counter ganks or in the river too, for more vision and to spot the movements of the enemy jungler)

There's no much to say here after the nerf of the Evelynn's cooldown on ult... 160 seconds ult at level one is too much, so Ultimate%20Hunter.png?width=32 is the best choice for us since it will make a valuable resource when we want to gank more than a lane in a row early game or for the late game when we want to kill more than a target per fight.
Ravenous%20Hunter.png?width=32 this could be fitting too with Eve, but it's not fitting with the gamestyle i think she should cover, plus what she needs is not sustain, but more ways to get in and out of fights.

The secondary tree is personal, but for me, the most fitting one is Sorcery since it gives you the 2 runes that we need most: Celerity.png?width=32 and Waterwalking.png?width=32.

As Eve, you want to be as fast as possible reaching flanks and rears of the enemies, so you will build a lot of mobility with your items and this Celerity.png?width=32 will help gettin even more mobi and even more damage.

This Waterwalking.png?width=32, in my opinion, is the most useful rune for Junglers, supports and roaming mid laners and it shouldn't be missing in our rune page since it gives you the possibility to go up and down from the river in a very fast way and it gives you a very good help in killing objectives like dragons or herald/barons or even in river team fights with the adaptive damage.

Your best start as Eve jungle is at raptors or wolves, so starting with evelynnq.png will make this thing easier since the aoe damage of this spell plus it will proc the healing/damage given by this jungle item 1039.png on the entire camp and will be clean in a very fast way.

Level 2 you will take the evelynnw.png since it will give you a lot of damage and control on single big targets like blue/red buff or even on the crab in the river, so you will go ahead with your jungling properly.

You will go ahead in the game levelling your Q first, because it's the base of our damage, since it will increase the damage of our next spells on the target hit (Pay attention on hitting this spell, it's crucial early game, DON'T MISS IT!!)

Next we will improve our E, since it's our second source of damage on targets and third, of course, our W.

FEW TRICKS AND COMBOS WITH EVE SPELLS

The most common Eve combo is W (wait 3 seconds) Q and E (plus the 3 re-cast of your Q) ending with your R, so the enemy will try to dodge your Q when the hearth is complete (since they can see a fency arrow that spots your position) but you are not forced to wait for the 3 seconds if the target is not dangerous for you or your teammates and you are not forced to hit the target with your Q first.

I usually put the W and slow my target with the blue smite to get closer and i wait until the W is ready. When the hearth is complete i simply hit my E on him so i'm 100% sure to taunt the target, then i follow with the rest of my combo and if you are fast (and fed) enough you will succede in killing your target.

The best and funny combo i've learned these days is the Q+W stealthed combo. This combo is made to avoid any answer from your target before they could even know that you are near. You will land your Q, predicting movements from your targets, and when your Q is mid-air you will put the W on him. If you succede in predicting his movement and you are fast enough putting the W on him, you will slow him and you will be ready to kill him with the rest of your combo.

Pay attention that a lot of enemies will try to "hide" behind minions to avoid your Q. This happens the most early game when you are not still stealthed. You will just need to start your combo with your E instead of Q to get closer  and to be sure to hit the rest of your combo. Don't try to proc your Q on minions (or nothing...) just to have the re-cast and proc your W, remember that the first cast of Q gives you a lot of increased damage on your subsequent spells and in early ganks this is CRUCIAL!

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

Core Items

Situational Items

Start with 1039.png and 2031.png (Don't go single potions, since it will save you a lot of golds and you don't really need for other consumables when your passive is up)

The kit of spells that Eve has, already gives her A LOT of killing potential, so what you really need is in these items 1402.png3117.png3100.png3152.png in that order.

1402.png: This item gives you a lot of killing potential, since it gives good stats and procs a good damage on you target that will surely help you in your objective, plus it will give you a good mana sustain in the jungle and you will avoid recalling that often (i never do for mana problems)

3117.png: This item is the professional junglers best friend, since it gives you the possibility to be EVERYWHERE is needed in time and it will help you with ganks and positioning, plus it will help you dodging all those stupid skillshots that could kill you easily!

3100.png: This will make Eve the killing machine she is. With the help of your E spell that will apply on hit effects you will end up killing your targets in a moment without even knowing who they were (No jokes, try to see replays, it's awkard how fast people dies! :D) High stats and strong effects make this item Core for Eve.

3152.png: This item is pretty strong on Eve, since it gives you more gap closer and even more damage on your engage (And helps you cleaning up all those stupid minions where your targets are trying to hide!) High ap, Health and cooldown reduction will make this item very useful.

At this point, as an efficient Eve (and with some luck) the game should be ended, but if it is not, you will have to figure how your enemy is reacting to you and your team.

 - if their carries are building up magic res (even just one item is bothering for me) you will need to build 3135.png (NEVER before your core items! Just at this point of the game)

 - if their supports are healing a lot 267.png16.png37.png or if they have a lot of champions that rely on healings like 23.png8.png50.png build this 3165.png.

 - if they are not building up any magic res and their tanks are not bothering your team that much just go straight into 3907.png.
Always end up building both 3135.png and 3907.png for the entire build.
[Litte tip: If you don't feel confident enough with this item 3907.png you are free to buy 3089.png, but remember that the first one is cheaper and WAY STRONGER than the second one if used in the proper way so try to fit this item on your core build and learn to use it, it will make the difference.]

There is a forth option that i personally hate and makes me decide not to pick Eve because changes completely the way you have to play her:
 - if the enemy has assassins like 7.png105.png38.png or 121.png91.png238.png you will have to build 3157.png3742.png or 3102.png3001.png as third and forth item since it will help you a lot reducing their output damage on you and improving your survivability.

BUILDING PATH

Always end up building your  3706.png and 3675.png on your first recall since what you really need early game is movement and blue smite for more killing potential and more movement.

Than try to complete these ones as soon as possible 1402.png3117.png3057.png in that order.

The rest is 3100.png and 3152.png.

VS

Amumu

Easy

He clean up camps slowly and his survivability early game is low, your 1v1 against him is strong, but be careful on his Q because if followed by a teammate could be lethal for you. Invade him as much as you can and steal as much camps as you can. Don't try to counter gank him unless you are sure he already used his Q. Late game wait for his engage and go straight on your targets and it shouldn't be a problem since he can only put some controls on your team and if not followed it will be pretty useless. You win smite fights so take advantage from this.

VS

Elise

Medium

She is as strong as you with cleaning camps and with sustain, she will probably be at the same health as you with her level 2/3 gank. Counter ganking Elise is smart, since her spells are hard to hit when yours are easier, plus her early damage is not that high so try to cover your laners as much as you can. She shines in cleaning up big camps like gromp and scuttle crab, so you are free to invade his wolves and raptors since you are more reliable in this, but you will probably lose all the vision given by the scuttles so try to have the river pinked by both sides so you can see when she goes for the scuttles. Late game she will be a little problem if she tries to cover her carries, since she can cocoon you easily when you are focused on doing your combo, so wait for her to get in fight before doing your move. No ways to win 1v1 if she spots you first.

VS

Gragas

Hard

He is half a tank so he could be a little problem for you, plus his favourite camps are wolves and raptors so don't try to counter invade him unless you know his precise position. Counter ganking him is not smart, since he has too many controls, high damage and survivability so avoid this by putting wards in tribushes. Late game he will probably engage first, so use this at your advantage. When he goes in and the rest of his team will try to follow, go straight on his carries and put them out of the fight.

VS

Graves

Medium

This matchup is not that bothering later on, since he won't be your primary target and he won't be bothering you in what you have to do. He will probably build 3156.png and 3111.png so don't try to 1v1 him if you are not THAT ahead. Thanks to his speed on cleaning up camps early he will try to invade you often and steal your camps, so do the same as a counter play. Don't try to 1v1 him early game if invades, because he has more range and easier ways to dodge your spells (moreover with Fleet%20Footwork.png?width=32and gravesmove.png) and you are not still capable of killing someone that easily so make your way out of his path.

VS

Ivern

Medium

Ivern is a good counter to you late game, since he can cover the player that you are trying to assassinate with his shield and his bushes, plus he will try to send his Daisy against you and try to snare you if he spots you, BUT his early game is CRAP at the moment so the word is INVADE! Put as many wards as you can with your team early on and spot his movement and his status, keep invading and stealing his camps and dont let him reach his objectives alive. Work on destroying his jungle more than ganking lanes cause he will probably win a 2v2 with his teammates early game.

VS

Kayn

Hard

This is a bad matchup for Eve because both darkin and assassin Kayn are a problem. Kayn early game is too good for Eve, both cleaning camps and ganking lanes so dont ever try to invade or counter gank a Kayn, you will not end up winning this. Try to put wards in tribushes and hope that your team will help in this. Late game he will be too tanky as a darkin and too strong as an assassin so make your way out of his path.

VS

Kha'Zix

Medium

He is a pain in the ass if properly used, since he has a good 1v1 kill potential, more than Eve has, BUT he is crap on cleaning camps and he loses SO MUCH health early game, so invade more than he does and destroy his jungle without trying the 1v1 if he is 100% health. Late game you will both do the same thing = trying to assassinate the isolated targets, so you will win only if you succede in destroying his early game.

VS

Lee Sin

Hard

This is your worst nightmare. He is the most used early game champion and he is very strong against you, not because he can spot invisible units, but because his maximum output damage on single target is level 2, so expect to be heavily invaded by him. Don't try to 1v1 him EVER and if you find him in your jungle and you have no help from yuor team, put a ward and go in the other side of the jungle. Don't try to counter gank him early game because he will simply turn on you and kill you easily, so just make your way on other lanes or invade his jungle to keep your farm up and ward his movements.

( Lee sin = ff 15 and go next :( )

VS

Master Yi

Easy

He is good at cleaning camps, but his survivability is medium. He will try to farm out as much as you in the early game. Try to counter gank him cause he is easily controlled moreover when he goes meditate.png , plus early game his dmg will be pretty low so it will be an easy kill. don't try to invade his jungle, because it would be time wasted, you will always find camps empty, but put as many wards as you can since you need to spot his movements and maybe predicts his jungling. You probably win smite fights, but neverminds with his Q since it can crit on monsters and make invisible damage (?) When he ults and try the engage on your team, try to focus him since he will probably be easy killed when taunted, then go straight to their carries and go ahead with objectives.

VS

Nunu

Medium

"The farming simulator"

I Still wonder why people should play this "thing", but... He cleans up very fast and has a high survivability early on, but he is not good with cleaning up wolves and raptors so try invading him and taking those camps. Ward your buffs and scuttle crubs, because he will surely tro to get them as many times as possible. He will 100% win smite fights so don't try to steal anything unless you outnumber his team. Late game just go straight on his carries and kill it, he will try to do stuff with snow and chomp things i don't know.

VS

Rengar

Medium

He doesn't shine in cleaning camps so he will probably gank a lot, since he will need to stack his necklace, try not to be his first victim. Counter ganking rengar is not that smart, but it could be if he gets controlled by your laner and followed by your taunt. Always remember that he can free himself from controls with his empowered rengarw.png so wait for him to waste it with empowered rengarq.png or rengare.png before acting. Invade his raptors and wolves since they will probably be always up. Late game you will both have the same role, but pay attention to his ultimate because it could spot your position with some luck, so try to understand where he is than act.

VS

Sejuani

Medium

She is good at cleaning up camps and she doesn't lose that much health, but she is slower than you and she will probably be the one who will be forced to counter gank you. If she does, pay attention to his sejuaniw.png cause it will apply 2 on 4 stacks of his passive if both hits will hit you. Try to gank ranged characters since they don't trigger his stun with autos and avoid standing to much near her, because she is not easily and she can control you that easily and it could be lethal for you. Late game wait for her engagge, but be ready to kill his carries as soon as possible, or they will follow her engage and they will kill your team. You will probably win smite fights.

VS

Shaco

Medium

Shaco has a bad level 2 cleaning camp potential so he will 100% try to invade you if he is a good one. His level 2 is stronger than yours since he will probably have 14.png and he will get out of his buff untouched since he will have his jackinthebox.png tanking for him so expect this level 2 gank from him and ask for as much help as possible from your teammates by warding and being present in case this happens. Counter ganking a Shaco is pretty bad, because he will probably end up killing someone before dying so i don't really like this way of thinking. I prefer buying as much pinks as possible to predict his ganks and always taking his jungle camps since he will be bad if he doesn't succede on ganking. He will be forced to build 3077.png to clean up wolves and raptors and it will make him less viable on ganks, so take his raptors/wolves and make this thing even worse for him.

VS

Shyvana

Hard

She is stronger in cleaning camps and in 1v1 fights, moreover when she is with Press%20the%20Attack.png?width=32. She is a tank so don't try to counter invade, don't try to counter gank. The only thing you can try to do against her is warding and farming your jungle. Late game you will go your own way by killing his carries and avoiding her. You are stronger in smite fights, so you this at your advantage and try not to let her taking drakes since she will become tankier with each drake she gets.

VS

Wukong

Medium

If used with Electrocute.png?width=32, Wukong jungle is a great problem for you, since he will surely invade you level 2 and will try to kill you or take your flash and buff, so pay attention to this. If this doesn't happen, he is probably planning to gank a lane, in that case don't try to counter gank, but keep farming and try invading his jungle. His cleaning early game is quite low and survivability even lower. If he doesn't succede in ganking, he will surely try to build 3077.png so try to make it worthless. Late game he will try to engage your backline, try to kill his carries before this happens, so your team can focus on avoiding his engage or even killing him when he tries to.

VS

Zac

Easy

Slow clean up early game and low survivability makes him an easy target for your early invades. Steal as much jungle as you can and put wards everywhere and Keep his farm low. Don't try to counter gank him unless he already used his Q and E since if followed by his allies could be lethel for you. He will end up being a tank so avoid him late game and wait for his engage, after this kill his carries.
