Summoner Spells Back to Top

rsz_1backgrounder1.jpg

12.png11.png  Main Kit

This is the standard spell combo I use for most of my jungling. I find it's amazingly efficient not only for ganks, but for rushing that devourer. Cause once you get to 30+ stacks, the ganks get scary. Aside from the usage Teleport has in ganks, I'll be going more in-depth on why I prefer it as opposed to Flash and such later.

11.png4.png Main Kit 2 (For Beginners)

Ah yes, the classic Flash/Smite combo. Great for gap closers to start/finish a painful gank and helpful for escaping sticky situations. If you're newer to jungling and still aren't too sure of what to do, I'd recommend grabbing this kit instead. Not only is it the standard for most junglers, it gives you a bit of wiggle room to make mistakes. Granted, you won't probably get devourer as fast as Teleport/Smite, but if Flash saves you from giving up that lovely double buff then by all means, grab Flash!

3.png11.png Main Kit 3 (Gank Thirst Is Real)

Yep, you know this kit. This is the "So I heard you like First Blood" kit. Grab this combo if you want to go devourer, but you're confident you can get some early ganks in to secure an extra stack or two. Great for initiating and taking down those escape-heavy champs.

Jungle. Fiora. Is. All. About. Riposte. Grab it immediately and rush it as quickly as you can, because this is the key to not only clearing but ganking as well. Not only does it reflect attacks, but it boosts your own damage passively as well. And the reflect works on large mobs? Well that pretty much seals the deal. Max out Riposte, then go straight for your Burst of Speed (maxing out your ulti while you can, of course). Max out Lunge last, as we merely use this as a gap closer. By the way, we hold off on putting that first point into Q to clear faster. If you feel confident that you can get a lvl 3 gank in, though, then feel free to grab Lunge instead of that 2nd Riposte point.

You want your basic combo on a gank to be E -> W then Q if they run away and keep auto-attacking. Save that 2nd Q for if they get away, or if you need to get away by targeting a creep. You can also use the first Q to initiate a gank, but never blow both of them immediately.

Items Back to Top

Starting Items

This is the standard kit for any jungler. You can grab Sweeper instead, if you'd like, but I prefer dropping a totem to have something to Teleport into.
As soon as you clear half of your jungle (all mobs in either red or blue side), immediately recall and grab a Skirmisher's. Make sure you have atleast 2 health pots in your inventory. If you're comfortable jungling, you should only have used 1 (2 rarely) to clear with.
As soon as you hit 850 to 885 gold, recall and grab these. Again, always make sure to have atleast 2 health pots.
Once you get enough gold, recall and buy these. Then finish Berserker's Greaves and start building your core build

Core Items

These are pretty self-explanatory. Ravenous for splash damage and active/clear-time. BotRK/Last Whisper for deadly armor pen + sustain. G.A. (sell Stone once you can build this) just to be that much more ballsy and terrifying.

Situational Items

Mallet is great for champs that always seem to get away, and the same goes for ghostblade. Randuins if you squish too much and for a group slow.
Alot of Fio players grab this after Ravenous. It's great for damage, but in terms of sustain and taking down tanks I've always preferred BotRK instead. You can grab this if you prefer, it's a pretty safe item all in all.

Alright, typically when you jungle Fiora, you want to start whatever buff is closest to bot lane (for faster leash and faster clear). Always ask top to watch and/or ward your other buff if they can. Clear your first buff with smite, then work your way to the lesser mob in whatever half of the jungle you started. If you started red, go straight for wraiths. If you started blue, head for wolves. At this point, you go for Golems (Red side) or Wight (Blue side). The second you clear that mob, start recalling. Buy Saber then once you've recovered 3/4ths of your hp/mana, cast Teleport on the INNER TURRET of the opposite side you started on. So if you started red, Teleport to the 2nd turret (NOT the outer-most one) on other side. Then head straight for your buff, clear it with smite then repeat your clearing process only this time you go with the bigger mob, then work your way to the lesser one. We do this because we're going to work our way to the opposite side of the jungle. Then we start with the lesser mob on that side, then greater. Repeat this until you have around 850 to 885 gold accumulated then recall and grab your next build step (Dagger + Boots, duh). At about this time, if you cleared quickly enough, you should have 50 seconds to a minute and a half left before your next buff is about to spawn. work your way to that half of the jungle and clear the greater with smite then the lesser. Your buff should be up. Grab that and you should be level 6 by then. Gank a lane if you can, and keep clearing with the process mentioned above while keeping pressuring lanes every now and then. At about 1500 gold, grab your Berserkers + Longsword + 2 Reexamination Beads. From that point on it's learn-as-you-go. Gank when you can, and don't forget to clear your jungle.  Good luck, and happy ganking!

VS

Aatrox

Easy

He's like a jumpy Trynd with wings. Squish him down with Riposte/Ravenous, wait for his passive to revive him, then pop Riposte again and finish him off. No problem. If you're quick enough, you can Lunge as he's jumping and gap close for the kill.

VS

Ahri

Hard

If you're not careful, this girl will ruin your day. Her combo she lands can destroy you if she lands charm, and her ability to escape you is ridiculous. Always proceed with caution against this wily fox.

VS

Akali

Medium

Same reason as Shaco, but a little easier because she still needs to leave her shroud to get away or attack.

VS

Alistar

Medium

Early game he will most likely ruin any gank attempts. Wait til mid-game when you have a bit of movement speed, and save your Lunge for after the headbutt.

VS

Amumu

Medium

A lil difficult to take of early game, but once you have your hydra/botrk set up he'll be cake. Just be careful and use Q if you have to to juke his stun.

VS

Blitzcrank

Medium

Always be wary of the blitzcrank buff invade. Whenever you've got an enemy blitzcrank, ask for your team to ward river and get ready for a fight. If you're feeling ballsy, level your Q first so when blitz pulls your buff away, you can dash in and steal then dash back to the baby mob to escape. Other than that, if he steals your buff chances are you'll be fairly set back. But have no fear! Just pick back up on your farming and you'll get ahead soon enough.

VS

Darius

Hard

His insane dot/Q poke and inherent tankyness make him a pain for you. Darius can easily take you down early game, so wait til mid/late game to try and duel this Noxian.

VS

Jax

Hard

Real weapon or not, this guy will mess your day up. If you have to engage, try to bait out his stun/block, then go burst down as much possible. He can easily counter you, though.

VS

Kha'Zix

Easy

Way too easy to counter jungle. Ward his red before it spawns for the 2nd time. You should be 6 by then. As he's clearing, run in smite then ult. If he's dumb enough to stay he dies, but chances are he'll run. Repeat for his other mobs every now and then, and just watch him fall behind.

VS

Master Yi

Easy

Auto-attack champion? Meet my Riposte. Oh, so you get a move that makes you hit once and makes you untargettable? Meet my Waltz. You get true damage? I get attack speed and movement speed to chase you down once you realize it's not even helping you at all. #GG

VS

Nocturne

Medium

Unless you have your ult ready, there's a pretty good chance he can beat you in a 1v1. Never try to solo him unless everything is off of cooldown for you.

VS

Rek'Sai

Easy

Auto-attack champion, you say? Say hello to Riposte. Tunnels, you say? Say hello to movement speed bonus and Q for chasedown. He loses to you in duels early to late game. You can counter jungle this one all day.

VS

Shaco

Medium

This guy is a quite a nuisance, huh? He loves to steal camps and his invis makes sure you can't chase with Q. Whenever you're jg'ing against him, proceed as normal but drop a ward every now and then in your brushes (namely around buff camps).

VS

Xerath

Easy

Just pop Burst of Speed to dodge his skill shots and once you're in his face, seal the kill. Your mid/late game sustain is enough that you can auto attack this guy to death even AS he's hitting you with everything he's got. Take advantage of that along with his low mobility/lack of escapes to feed off him.

VS

Xin Zhao

Medium

A good Xin Zhao will give you a run for your money every time. But he's rather underplayed lately so I'm leaving it at the middle for now.

VS

Zac

Easy

Early game he's a bit of a pain to chase, but you can counter-jg this blob easily enough. He doesn't deal enough damage alone to be a threat to you AND his passive is smiteable? Sign me up. I'd wait in the brush with a ward on him until he pops his skills then go in so he can't jump away.

VS

Zed

Medium

Early game this guy will chunk you. His deathmark might as well be a death sentence unless you know for a fact you've got some backup. As for mid/late game pop Riposte and start Burst of Speed so you can regen/lifesteal whatever he dishes out on you. Or if your ult is up and you're feeling greedy you can pop it right after he starts his mark.

VS

Ziggs

Easy

Simply use Burst of Speed + Lunge to juke all his skill hots and wreck once you get up-close.

VS

Zyra

Medium

This one is 50/50. Her plants make perfect Lunge targets for closing gaps, but they also most likely pop your Riposte leaving you wide open. I haven't tested this for sure yet so I'm leaving it in the middle for now.

Ward Placement (For Teleport Only) Back to Top

Alright, I said I'd show you the uses of teleport, so here we go:

WardPlacementForGanksResized.png

This is your map for teleport ganks and steals. Note that I have color coded them by team. The spots in lanes are where you should ask your teammates to ward so you can gank, but if you want to go for the spots in the enemy jungle chances are you'll have to go in and do it yourself. Get a feel for jg fio first, and her combos before you attempt the buff steals. As for the teleport ganks, my personal favorite are the brushes in bottom lane. As soon as you hit level 6, have the support drop a ward in a brush closest to the enemy turret then let the enemy push. As soon as they get past your ward, ping for your bot lane to engage and start teleporting. Q to gap close if you have to and ult away. You'll guarantee atleast one kill every time.

What's up guys? My name is Chocokakke and I've been a jg main for as long as I can remember. I played Vi/Shyv main up until S4, when more and more possibilities were opened up for junglers. As Lantern/Flare came into the scene, so did a slew of potential picks. I was Feral Flare'ing Master Yi on a daily basis, but I wanted something different. Something more...refined. On a crazy whim, I tried Fiora when she was free week and I fell in love. Her jungle capability turned out to be pretty amazing. Riposte gives her perfect early game damage. Life steal quints + her passive give her amazing sustain. She may not have crazy cc to keep everyone in check, but she doesn't need it. Her chasedown/offensive capabilities more than make up for whatever she may be missing. I'm here to show you that. Welcome to my guide.

The Proof. Back to Top

I've been playing Fio every day I log in. Here's your proof. The jg fio is real. Use this guide and this'll be your match history too.

Winwinwin.png

Still a work-in-progress. But it's getting there! Back to Top

I'm here to bring something to the table that may not exactly be too heard of. Jungle Fiora. Now, I haven't tried her in ranked but I'm using my knowledge I already have of Devourer champs (mainly from Cowsepp and others, of course) to try and create something devastating and fun to play as. I'll be working on this guide more and more as I go along but I do intend to fill it out as much as possible. I know I'm not some crazy Diamond player or anything like that. I'm just an enthusiastic jungler who loves trying oddball things (Jungle Heimer, anyone?). So rest assured that while I may not be the best, I try my best to provide an in-depth guide for you and will continue to improve upon this as I go. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

Wow, 16k Views! Thank you!! Back to Top

When I first made this guide, I started it to share something that I found to love. I wanted others to see that champs can break out of their meta and be not only versatile, but incredibly useful in ways you wouldn't picture them to be. I didn't expect many people to read it, but after after the first week, my guide started gaining 400+ views a day. Thank you guys so much. It is an incredible honor to know that so many people look to my guide, and it makes me happy to know that others use it to such an extent! I can only hope to add more and more useful information/guides in the future. Once again, thank you.
