I run 18/12/0 on this.  


Techincally this is my ( Jhin vs Easy Lane ) Page, but i've been running it nearly every game for dominance.

  • Sorcery -  I take this because this allows yourjhinpassive.png jhinq.pngjhinw.pngjhine.pngjhinr.png to have more damage.  Your passive 4th shot will do a small amount of increased damage, and the damage stacked from your jhinq.png will be even more.  Your  jhinw.png will do more damage for snipes, your jhine.png will do more damage in team-fights stacked if they die one after another, triggering more traps and more damage. jhinr.png This will help increase your execute damage as well as your other 3 shots.  

  • Fresh Blood - Help with Lane Harass and more damage in your combo.

  • Vampirism - I know Jhin doesn't benefit from lifesteal as much as other AD's, but i use this mastery because I'm typically a passive laner so i need the sustain.  I rarely start 1036.png on him, unless I have a different Mastery Page.

  • Double Edge Sword -  Self Explanatory.

  • Battering Blows - Self Explanatory.

  • Death Fire Touch -  This Keystone, is what makes Jhin excel in laning.  This helps so much, since you have 4 bullets.  If you use 4 bullets to fight someone, and they live with 10 hp, they're going to die, because of the burn from DFT.  Jhin as an insane amount of AD stacking, which stacks DFT as well.  Jhin's AD is the highest AD stacking in this game for an ADC / Mid Laner.  This AD stacked will go into your DFT and you'll burn them for nearly 200+ a second.  Other keystones aren't good for Jhin, unless they get a huge buff, enough said.

For Jhin, i typically wait to level up my E until level 13.  I love the extra damage from my jhinq.pngjhinw.png than my jhine.png.


I do this if i snowball, otherwise i just stick to leveling it at level 4.

    I never buy GA, but i put it in here, if you want it that badly. Sell boots for it. Otherwise , do not buy it. They'll be right on top of you when you spawn, and you lack damage for an AD.
    Always get this item at level 9. Helps a ton with ulting.

This lane is very difficult. 

I can't tell you how many times I've died level 1, underestimating her headshot damage. 
Now this match-up can go both ways, but lane game, she's going to out range you and destroy your team without HEAVY CC. 

Supports you MUST farm against her when she has.

Without these supports, lane is quite evened out.
This lane is very skilled based as well.

Reasoning for Hard ?

He out ranges you hard, and late game she'll destroy you.
One lane mistake and you're toast.
If she zones you, you won't snowball and you'll be left to farm and be less useful in a fight.
Shes your hardest Counter.

This match - up in my experience has gone quite well.

Mid to late game, you cant really 1v1 his burst.
In lane you can out trade him if you dodge his stuff before a fight.
Poke him before you all in him.

Watch out for these Supports with him.

Reasoning for Easy ? 

You out damage him if you snowball, which he can't really do on you since you have more burst than he does early on. This match - up isn't that hard for you.

Draven

Hard

This lane can snowball both ways. 


If you both play passive.  You win.
If you both play Aggro.  Draven wins.
If you play Aggro, and  he plays Passive.  You win.
If you play passive, and he plays aggro.  Draven wins.

Whoever snowballs first, wins LANE.

Late game he will destroy you in 1v1's and teamfights unless picked or poked down.

Reasoning for hard.

His damage and attack speed outscale you hard.  Hes your second hardest counter so watch out.

You out damage him a lot. 

Late game it goes either way depending on builds really.
Basically, play this passive.  
First back for both.

If he gets SHEEN - You play safe.
If he gets TEAR - You play Aggro.

Other than that, its not that hard.

VERY ANNOYING SUPPORTS SO WATCH OUT IN LANE 

Leona - Thresh - Blitz - Alistar - Braum - Malzahar - Brand



LANING :

Harass with a quick Q - 4th Auto Attack combo any chance you can. The speed burst from your passive will let you escape the fight easily and win the tradearrow-10x10.png, thanks to Deathfire Touch's burn. 


Jhin's abilties reset his auto attack time. His Q has the shortest animation, so a good tradearrow-10x10.png would be AA --> Q --> AA. His E also has a short animation, but his W is the longest of all. It might be wise to throw down a trap to try and reset his AA before using your W for a snare. 


Farm, farm, farm! Farming is key on Jhin. It's not easy, due to his ammo system, so use your Q to last hit minions if you're reloading. Always try to last hit with your autos if you can, and use Q and W as a last resort if your minion is about to die. It's nice to have a support who can bring a Targon's Brace to help you farm when you're reloading.

Place traps to the sides of the lane to prevent ganks, aggression by your lane opponents, and in brushes to give you vision. Be careful to not put them where minions might step on them!

Traps give vision inside brushes, so keep at least one in a river bush at all times if you can.

Try to get your 4th auto crit as fast as possible in lane and use it on the enemy carry immediately. You can out trade most lanes with a fast AA-Q combo at level 1 thanks to your Life Steal. You'll reload by the time your first minions are ready for last hitting. 


Place traps any time you have extra mana available. They're your zoning tool to keep you safe in lane and will dissuade aggressive supports from attempting anything.

Use your W from far away to get extra cs when you're walking back to lane.


Always have a pink ward on the map and a pink ward in your inventory.


An early Bloodthirster will counter champions who can build a Thornmail early, such as Rammus or Malphite.
Highly non recomended in this patch/meta due to the lethality.  


TEAMFIGHTING :

Consider starting off by softening the enemy team up and supporting your team with your ultimate. If you're fighting around an objective like baron or dragon, their tanks will peel off the objective to body block their carries. This can create a do-or-die choice for the objective that can give your team a favorable fight.


Put one trap in front of your position rather than in the center of the team fight. There's a good chance that at least one person on the enemy team will try to take you out as fast as possible. The slow from the trap and the massive damage it deals will allow you to blow up and peel anyone coming after you.


If your team loses the fight and you're still alive, use your other charge of your trap to save yourself or your teammates.


If you're versus champions that can dive without being stopped (Vi, Malphite) then it's a good idea to stack some traps on top of where you're posturing before a fight happens.



USING YOUR ULTIMATE : 

Fire IMMEDIATELY. Don't waste time trying to lead them with the first shot. If you land your first shot, you'll probably land all 4 shots. As soon as the camera zooms out, start smashing your R key as fast as possible. 


When using Jhin's ult, most people's natural reaction will be to try and escape to the closest side of the cone. Try to force them to run back towards the center of the cone by leading your shots and making them juke back the other way. 


Mind game people with your ult. Most people who don't try to escape the cone will do everything they can to juke your shots. If you let them juke long enough, eventually they won't know what to do, and will panic into running in a straight line. There's benefits to letting people wobble back and forth until they get so caught up in their own heads, they make themselves easy targets.


Your ult lasts approximately 8 seconds, while moves like Wind Wall and Stand Behind Me only last 3-4 seconds. Laugh at people who think Yasuo and Braum counter your ultimate.


When people are hit with the ult, their first instinct will be to turn around and dodge the other way. Keep this in mind when firing.


Drop a farsight totem after level 9 on top of the target that you're trying to snipe. The farsight totem reveals enemy units for a few seconds and will make it easier for you to land that first shot crucial on the enemy.


Wait for your enemies to get into narrow corridors about one screen away from you before ulting, so that they can't run out of your ult's cone as easily. A good place to ult is usually under their tower, since there's nowhere to run except straight away from you.


It's important to know how much damage you ultimate can do at level 6. Most people take 9 Armor yellows and get around 50 armor at level 6. That means they have 150% effective health versus you. If you land all 4 shots of your ultimate, you'll do around 300 AD damage + the execution damage of you ult, but after your enemy's resistances, it will be somewhere closer to 225 damage + execution damage. Try to keep this in mind so you don't waste your ult. If they're above 225hp, you're might not kill them with all 4 shots unless you have more than just your starting items.
